I would give it 0 stars if I could. Don't get me wrong the shop and everything is amazing, I used MY own card for MY account and it got locked I called and somehow I owe $77? Through PayPal? Lmfao what a sham bye imvu you do this to so many people, I've been playing for id say 7 years I've had so many accounts because of this exact reason. Even sometimes I wouldn't even buy or get credits. It would just be disabled so they can extort money.

Im going to rate it a 1 as it seems they take forever to respond back even after you respond back immediately to them and you can even have 1 single public room if you are not vip... they want all this money but take all the time they want assisting people...

Scams, lies and threats:
At first I loved the game even though you have to spend a lot of money to get a decent looking avatar, so I spend over 100 on it an just bought AP before they banned my account. The reason for me being banned is apparently that I tried to get free credits in a way that violated their policies even though the only free credits I tried to get was through their offers on the game! Staff doesnt want to help nor send proof to me or even explain what exactly I did wrong". When I called them out in the public discussion they threatened me with "further disciplinary actions"!

This website is a "digital world" and online community. It is a very nice place to be if you obey the rules and be nice to people. Many think that the website is insecure because of it's uncommon nature. This statement is untrue because I have trusted their website more than once with my personal banking cards. In the end, I have determined that it is definitely a worthwhile website to visit with a good reputation.

Every time I try and log into IMVU on my laptop, it stops me and ask for all this type of information for my parents consent. It tells me to wait 72 hours for a email. After I wait 72 hours, they still never send me or my parent an email. I don't know what to do anymore. Even though I try over and over again, they don't send it. Can someone please help me. It's beginning to upset me horribly.

So I had an imvu account and let's just say they stole all of my money and they will not return it. Do not waste your time on imvu its pure garbage. They stole over 6 grand. I have to tell everyone because no one deserves this. They are thiefs and I wouldn't curse even my most hated enemy with imvu. I think imvu should be shut down. Its not a safe place for anyone they get your identity and they steal all your money. They ask for your ID to verify your age on the account and proof of who you are so they can take everything from you. Don't make the same mistake I did. I regret falling for there trap.

Seriously stay away, the moderators only look after their group of friends, all other people who dare to disagree gets disabled. And they never look after developers, the user count decreased from 300k to just 80k over the last few years not without a reason.

Where to start... Awful customer service not even based in the US. Poor excuses to ban people and annoying offer spamming (they don't even listen to the community, only appealing to ideas that could make them earn more money) They should have been out of commission years ago but they know they can milk more cash from that "next" wannabe social media app with all the minors joining. Also, its not safe, adults pretend to be kids and kids to be adults also the staff WONT ban offenders even if you give them proof (not to mention their reporting system is from the stone age and they can't even back up your evidence because of their so called "privacy" BS). They used to be okay around early 2010's now they're just scammers and they don't even try to hide it. Sorry IMVU you used to be cool, but with your poorly optimized website, outdated features, scamming tactics, lack of professionalism and awful customer service, you don't even deserve 1 star.

It was overall good I like meeting new people but when someone takes your account or it gets disabled and you connect them about it's like you never get it back they never answer you I feel like they should work on that I have spent and gave imvu so much money just for it to be striped from me.

No, Played around 6 years, and despite all bad and broke non-sense moral they had, I never stopped to log in at least 1 time at year or invest in the game because in despite of all it was a good "game" for chat and meet people. But since this last year that they Deleted... No, Erased my account with no way possible to recover it. So I got 2 alternatives forced by them: 1st Create another account with no refunds or no help such more initial credits etc... or 2nd Stop Playing.

Laggy piece of crap run by neurotic prudes that sell the service with romantic beach scenes then try and sell you poses where your hips cant even touch! This is NOT a site for adults with cash to spend anymore. Its become a site for kids with inattentive parents.

Ive been on imvu for six years and Ive watched it drop from a promising new site to an incredibly mismanaged nightmare of Stazi informing tactics and greedy over priced "features" that are nothing more than pure lies.

An utterly dishonest company, thieves would be a better word for them actually. They charge you a premium for PA, which allows you to be 'lewd' but you want to hear a good joke? Every penis is flaccid and useless, can you even imagine the thinking that goes into a decision like that? This is deeply fraudulent and they have not even replied let alone given me a refund, this company and everyone who supports them (Menlo Ventures, AllegisCyber Capital, Bridgescale Partners, and Best Buy Capital) should be tried as the petty criminals they are. Shut it down, they are nothing but a scourge on the industry. I am going to personally boycott every single company who has dealings with them and I would encourage others to do the same. Have some respect for yourself, and spend your money elsewhere. They did not even give me a recept, what kind of legitimate company does that? This game is actually a representation of how a $#*!ty game should be. At first when I played this game i thought it was pretty cool becaue it had cute clothes etc and they give at least 4000 free credits, but the moment you run out of credits and try to earn more it is a huge pain in the $#*!, they make you do a million surveys for almost 40 mins just to give you 10 credits when it says your supposed to get 1000. And dont even get me started on how weird and rude the people are on this game, your just gonna have to play it for yourself because I am not about write about that $#*!. And the graphics are trash, the maps are ugly and its just a retarted game overall.

Alot has changed i agree but ive been on imvu 10 years and i much prefer it to any other game hands down. Im a creator and a vip member i think its well worth the vip charge and the credits if you get vip you can catch sales that are 45% off which is close to what the credit sellers used to do. But advise to anyone do not click on free credit links they are scams and steal your account. Also a good way to go is try blocking them if you cant then you know its a ligit imvu staff memeber.

Read their ToS, they will permanently ban you easily. Costumer support is very slow and most of the times (depending what you're writing about) they will not answer at all. They won't unban accounts, they don't care how much money you spent and have even disabled credits reselling.

These people are psychopaths. They wait until you get attached to the game and then maybe you're a year inor like i was3 years into playing and BAM they ban you. If you want to get your account back you have to use a new account and submit a case through their website. This is no way to treat people and this game is gonna die because of it, and I will not feel bad when it does. A fun game, terrible company.

This is a site that allows hackers and scam artists to run rampid in their system while legitimate users are hassled for no good reason! I was a member in good standing for over a year in this dump! And because someone didnt like that my rooms were becoming popular my account was disabled! They are thieves and scam artists, overcharging for stuff and doing what they want to do, not what is right! I wouldnt go back to them now if my life depended on it!

You can't even enjoy this game I've been hacked then reported for my identity then my rooms weren't working after paying a lot of credits for it agents couldn't figure out nor fix the issue and now my account is down for false payments never again will I install this app I believe it's the company of imvu hacking accounts and taking peoples money smh

This is so $#*!ing stupid u only support the famous imvu players ur challenges are $#*!ed u should really make them easier and make them able to enter from the app not having to go to a website that makes no sense your wheelspins are stupid make the higher and make it easier to get money like for people who's phone can't install your verification apps on your free money websites and make the default look better and give u more credits when u start off playing like 10k and I spent so much time on this damn game and as u make credits there gine straight away I'm going to give this game one more chance
