IncrediMail

Have had IncrediMail for many years. A week ago something happened, Did not get any mail since then. Called and for $100.00 PLUS they would try and fix my problem.NO WAY!. I took it off 4 different times and reloaded it and still can't get on. Going to try one more time then will take it to Best Buy Geek Squad and have them fix it for FREE.

I have been with you for over 23 years. My Heart is broken because I have to leave you because AT&T will not send me my email I use the AT&T email address and not the yahoo. See if you all don't now that AT&T and yahoo are working together. I am a google girl not a yahoo. So being said all this I am unable to get email for over 4 days I have to find some other email carrier. Which I don't want to do. But I guess it's the company how run what we can have. I've used Incredimail for many years and LOVED it. I use several email addresses (business, personal, shopping and crap) and it was easy to separate inboxes and even names. For years! Then suddenly: I had mail... but just empty lines. My "sent" box was empty! Total disaster and NO support! I got some "online" support who suggested I download a "fix". Did that. Nothing happened. I use Outlook now but miss my "old" Incredimail. Tried to download the software again on a new computer and the same mess: I got mail indicators but empty lines and my "sent" box remains empty. TOTALLY disappointed after many many years of good use. Too bad.

This is the best E-mail program out there!
Sure, they may be issues with varying applications but what software isn't?

People need to be patient and not give up so easily.

I love Incredimail, Have it for 10 years and it's the best 50.00 i ever invested. Everytime I get a new computer all I have to do is install the program and enter my member number and DONE. I have installed on my computer outlook 2013 and I prefer using Incredimail. The only think I will like to change is the contact format. It's better to use it in outlook...

I had a lifetime licence I bought 2002, I still have my licence number but it won't accept it, I have contacted "support" if you can call it that 4 times with an answer. For years i used it without problem ( or very small one's) this latest 2.5 is a total disaster, emails won't send, Emails rules don't work, some email don't show the content and so many crashes too many to count. I have reinstalled 5 times in the last few months. I have downloader Thunderbird it's ok but a very complicated learning curve, but reliable and the stock front screen text is too small which as far as i know you cannot alter I just want my incredimail to actually work..

Are you paying attention. Incredimail is the most annoying app to have on your computer. It lockup at every click of the mouse. Have to continuously use task manager to shut it down. Appalling! Disgraceful company.

I have been with Incredimail for years. I haven't had too many problems. I never upgrade. The only thing I had a problem with is when I needed help they wanted me to pay for Tech support when it was just a little problem. Other than that I have been satisfied with Incredimail.

I have used IncrediMail for years, and it used to be great! It looked great, it worked almost flawlessly and it was just good fun. However, since they upgraded the software, it looks and acts differently, and it has an awful, awful mail syncing process, which means nothing can be done until the syncing has finished. I can't delete any eMails until it's done, and that can take a long time. I want to downgrade, but I'd lose all of my present eMails so I'm stuck with it!

Edit: I found a link to download IncrediMail XE, but was having problems with my licenses. I have to admit that the support over this issue was prompt, friendly and effective. Now I have my old IncrediMail back, I'm happy again! :D

This isn't a bad site but when I downloaded it, it created a hotmail account for me and I don't really care much for hotmail or windows live mail.

You get free emoticons but the best ones you have to get a premium membership so their claims of free emoticons are true but if you want the really good ones. Then I had could not find a way to sign out of the incredimail and hotmail account and some of the emails I sent too more than 20 minutes to get to the person I sent them to. I got some strange error messages too.

If you get this service, just know that it has it's ups and downs.

I have used Incredimail for almost 20 years. I loved it up until about 6 months ago. Around that time, I began to have problems syncing my various e-mail addresses.
I have had to start going to each individual site to read my e-mail. Because of all of the extra time I have to spend troubleshooting Incredimail, the fun is gone and it has become a waste of my time. Also, I have been told that most of the messages I send via Incredimail end up in peoples' spam boxes. Several people have asked me to please send my e-mails by some way other than Incredimail. They don't like the ads at the end. It was great for a while; but, it is no longer worth the effort and people don't like receiving it.

Why? Oh! Why? Am I now getting problems with IM2 in W10. In particular with stalled outgoing mail and occasional freezing. Previously to W10 and IM2 no major problems it was a great client. I may have to junk it I'm afraid. Currently looking for a new program, but may not be easy to match original IM.
Anything in the pipeline to offer me and and it appears a lot of other users hope of an imminent solution? Ron North

I've used Incredimail for many years but it somehow has gotten all out of whack and I've even taken it to a computer store & tried to get help but they couldn't figure it out. I'm am going to have to uninstall it. Wish I could find a better service

I didn't give only 1 star because I like the emojies and the stickers and all the other little accessories you can use. However, as a mail software, it's far from good. You have to pay 30 dollars only to get a spamfilter, a service that is free on every other mailserver. Make it free as well, then we'll talk further.

I have been a lifetime member almost since they started and it was a great program
Then it changed hands to perion and has not worked well since then
I would like to get the old version back as it did not have all the junk in it to burdon down the os... as a lifetimer and licensed for most of their programs I just plug away and sent a crash report every 10th crash... about once a day... I don't think the company has the intelligence to fix it... they just have the drive for the bucks and not the drive to gain a good reputation so they could make better bucks... sorry for the management that does not learn from its customers... you will get zero stars for effort and 1 star for not trying to reinvent it as I like the way it works when it works... I installed IncrediMail onto my computer. I didn't like it. I contacted IncrediMail re: removing IncrediMail from my computer. I followed the directions offered at their website FOUR TIMES and could not get rid of IncrediMail.

What is my recourse?

It appears that Incredimail is now a DEAD PRODUCT.
Many of the serious technical problems have NEVER been addressed.
NO SUPPORT whatsoever!.
NO response to support requests.
NO product updates.
I advise anyone still using Incredimail should step over to another email system (eg Thunderbird) as soon as possible before you get serious problems that THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU WITH.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I've used Incredimail for years without problems. Now I have all the problems these other reviewers have and will uninstall.
Any suggestions on a replacement service?

Had for 12 years no problems! Sad I liked it before but the last year it never works. Followed the repair advice and it worked for one night and now its crashing again. GARBAGE! Boo hoo!

And the best thing I can say about the IncrediMail service is... YUCK!
In the beginning it was the absolute best program ever. Which also included a Spam Blocker. Then without any notice what-so-ever they took the Spam Blocker away. If I wanted it back, suddenly I had to pay a yearly fee for it. Then they had the Photo Animations which were awesome. Oops - they took those away with no notice. The program does not always work well anymore. If you are lucky enough to get a response to your complaint of a problem, they basically tell you "Too bad". That is NOT their exact words, but that's what it boils down to. When I purchased my Lifetime membership, I thought it meant I would never have to pay for any of the add-ons that I already owned, but that is not the case. It runs poorly now and is getting worse every year. I can not even download anything from the Gold Gallery anymore - which I paid for. I do love the Emoticons, E-cards, Letters and Sounds (Although as time goes by, they keep removing more & more Emoticons, Letters and sound effects) If they keep it up, there won't be much of a choice left. IncrediMail WAS the best, most fun program I have ever purchased, but now it is just a costly frustration. So sad!

Caution: installing Incredimail could expose you to adware or malware. Despite this site containing a verified TRUSTe Seal, McAfee Seal and been a Microsoft Certified Partner - many are claiming this site is dangerous. The WOT community, overall, has given the site a "satisfactory" rating, however, the past 5 pages have comment after comment with a 'bad rating', saying that the site contains "Adware, Malware, annoying pop ups and more". The Norton Safe Web Community have given the site a 3.6 rating, but have confirmed a presence of malware also.

They sell you things like PLUS or Premium as LIFETIME use codes, then your lifetime use codes stop working!

When you write to support, they COMPLETELY IGNORE what you write and tell you to buy more items!

When you write back two, three or four more times you receive the EXACT same "canned" response.

INCREDIMAIL SUPPORT DOES NOT EVEN READ YOUR MESSAGES, THEY JUST SEND YOU THE SAME CANNED RESPONSE EVERY SINGLE TIME!

IVE USED INCREDIMAIL FOR YEARS - I LOVED IT - BEST ANIMATIONS ANYWHERE - I HAVE HUNDREDS OF CONTACTS ETC - BUT - ALAS - IT STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY. I UNINSTALLED IT AND REINSTALLED IT TO SEE IF THAT WOULD HELP. IT DIDNT LOAD - KEEPS SAYING THERE IS AN ERROR - I TRIED CONTACTING THEM - FORGET ABOUT IT - THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT STINKS. THEY DONT REPLY. I SWITCHED TO YAHOO MAIL AND OUTLOOK MAIL. I HOPE INCREDIMAIL COMES BACK SOMEDAY - I MISS THEM.
