Please indeed there's company contacting me that I have job offer. But it's fraud using the real company name. Can u make background check for the company before posting the vacancies of company posting... Tnxxxx and best regards..
I realized that I wasn't receiving any calls for a job that I posted on January 4th. When I went back to repost the ad, I couldn't find my original post on my account. I am also not able to post a new ad.
Hi Jonelle, thank you for reaching out to us and sorry for the frustrating experience. We've reached out to you directly through email to assist. Thank you.
Before the Christmas period I put up several jobs for the company I work for. Every job I put up was taken down and I can no longer even post jobs! I have sent multiple email's without response and I need this issue fixed asap but I am unable to do so as there is no live chat or telecom center.
Update:
After talking to staff from indeed I now understand why my account was suspended but what bothered me in the first place is that I was given no notice, No email or anything from indeed saying your account was suspended for such and such, I do appreciate the customer service I received via email and I now understand that I was in the wrong.
Thank you Dorit.
Hello Zack, sorry for the poor experience. We have reached out to you through email to assist. Thank you.
They post jobs that do not exist. Called companies that indeed said were hiring and the job openings did not exist. They have jobs on there that already have been filled and most jobs you can't even apply for. Very disappointed with indeed.
Hello Janice, sorry that you've had a poor experience with Indeed. If you have any examples of these jobs, please forward them to us at sitejabber@indeed.com so that we can investigate. Thank you.
Hello, my account was disabled and no one has gotten back to me as to why this has happened.
Horrible contact support
Hello Shane, sorry for the poor experience with Indeed. We've reached out to you through email to gather more information so that we can review your account. Thank you.
I like the website because it's easy to search for what you want and easy to apply. But my partner has been applying for jobs for almost 6 month with no luck. He was told he had the job by TWO companies that turned out to be SCAMS. Now they have all the information on his cv plus a scan of his drivers licence. On another note, almost NONE of these jobs ever respond.
Hello Nadia, sorry for the negative experience. If you can, please provide us with details of the two jobs your partner has applied to so that we can investigate at sitejabber@indeed.com. Thank you.
Postings are up for a long period of time, and in some cases no one gets back to you
Hi Rosanne, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Sorry that you haven't received many responses from employers. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
I posted my resume online with indeed, the day I did, I started receiving phone calls from spammers from all around the US. I truly believe they are either selling your information to a third party.Or, spammers have access to your resume. Never once received a phone call from an employer. All the calls were a computer automated system. Who in the world falls for these spammers? If no one fell for them, they wouldn't be harassing people. I tried to delete my account and indeed has rigged there site to where it is impossible to actually delete your account, without contacting customer service via email. I honestly don't see how these companies keep doing this and not get sued. I have tried to use this site at different intervals and everytime I do, I get harassed by spammers. They always call when i'm in the middle of something. Personally, I believe we all need to get together and sue indeed for invasion of privacy. They say the employer cannot see your address or phone number when you post your resume on there site. I've contacted employers directly that were on indeed.com. They all said they did not have an ad on indeed. Com and they don't know why they have it posted on the site!
Hello John, sorry for your negative experience with Indeed. As you have already mentioned, Indeed does not share the contact information listed on your Indeed resume unless it is incorrectly placed under one of the public resume sections by the job seeker (example: if a phone number or email address is listed under the experience field). Indeed does not sell your contact information to any third party. You also have the ability to delete your resume on Indeed at any time.
This is a well-designed web platform to aggregate open jobs from multiple sources. I give it a 3 star rating as I did not find my job on indeed.
Hi Ron, thank you very much for sharing your feedback with us. If there's anything we can do to help in the future, please feel free to reach out.
My experience was okay but not great. I got mediocre results in terms of quantity and quality. It was pretty expensive considering the fact that we did not hire anyone from the handful of "interested" applicants that we got through Indeed.
Hello Bill, thank you for your feedback. We'd be happy to help with improving the quality of candidates that you receive to your Indeed advertisements. Feel free to email us at sitejabber@indeed.com for assistance. Thank you.
Easy to use. Some limitation due to searchability. Still need to use traditional methods to find candidates. The more common the job the better indeed.com works. Very cost effective and easy to control costs.
Hi Tom, thanks for your feedback. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help in the future.
We have been able to locate several good candidates for our job openings.
Thanks for your positive feedback!
We have received many applicants for each position. Some are qualified and some not so qualified but overall; good applicants. Still interviewing; no hire yet. The user friendliness of this site and the assistance if calling in have been excellent.
Thanks so much for your review!
I was getting a lot of responses that were either out of state or not for the position.
Renata, we're sorry for the negative experience. We would be happy to make recommendations for your account to improve the performance.
The self serve concept of the site is convenient and easy to use. Plus the staff at indeed is friendly, and helped me quickly with a small discrepancy we had early on.
Glad we could help, thanks for the feedback.
I called to get some things clarified and the person who answered helped me very much
Thanks for your kind words about our Client Care team!
All of the perspective resumes For employees just kept clicking on yes yes yes none of them had the experience or knowledge in the field in which I was hiring for. But I still had to pay for them to apply
Scot, sorry for the negative experience. We would be happy to provide a free account review to help improve the performance.
While indeed did supply several applicants they often supplied out of area applicants sometimes even ones that were out-of-state it became annoying.
It's better to go through a few qualified applicants then hundreds of disqualified or unavailable because of distance applicants...
Sorry for the negative experience Pat. Our Client Care team would be happy to help with ideas and recommendations to improve your candidate quality from Indeed.
This was our first experience with Indeed. It was easy to post our job announcement, and we paid a modest $5/day to boost it. We also advertised in the local paper and on craigslist, but over 85% of our applicants came from Indeed -- and at less than half the cost of the paper. It was easy to download the resumes, I just wish you could download the cover letter and references, too, into one cohesive document. And a word to the applicants -- take the time to upload your own formatted resume. The ones that are generated by Indeed's software all look alike. You want to stand apart from the crowd!
Thanks for the positive review!
I very much enjoyed my experience with Indeed in regard to our search for a Customer Service Rep. Most of the candidates met the criteria we asked for which allowed us to narrow our candidate base and not waste either parties time and effort.
Thanks for the great feedback Kevin!
Answer: Hello Anita, positions posted for free stay on Indeed for a total of 120 days. Sponsored positions can stay on the site until an employer has filled the job and closed it on Indeed.

Answer: Hello Gerard, sorry for the negative experience. Indeed recently augmented existing search quality programs with new, ongoing strategies to make sure all jobs on Indeed meet standards for quality. This effort included a large scale review of job listings. Jobs that violated our guidelines and companies that did not meet our quality standards were disabled. We apologize that this was a frustrating process for you and will provide this feedback to our Search Quality team for future improvements.
Answer: By NO MEANS should you pursue this so-called job offer further and in fact, you should report them to the Better Business Bureau.
