Ordered some doc marten shoes which ive done many times before. This order took a little longer than usual - usually 5 days to my door in NZ. But during the US gov shutdown. So i emailed, they got back to me so quickly to say my order was out of stock and id get a full refund. Well because i used a visa debit card the money was taken out at the same time as the email (time differences) but i called the bank and then emailed again and they advised the refund had been processed the next day. Fantastic customer service. Now just waiting on my next order that has been confirmed to arrive.

You get sucked by seeing them pop up as an alternative means of payment only to realize when you've lost your money that they just want to middle men for a transaction you can easily sort out yourself. So where the shop you're buying from offers free shipping they will charge you for it and take it as theirs, this is on top of other fees they charge normally for their services. And they have a very poor customer service as they do not respond to enquiries, they deserve to be investigated or sued

You get sucked by seeing them pop up as an alternative means of payment only to realize when you've lost your money that they just want to middle men for a transaction you can easily sort out yourself. So where the shop you're buying from offers free shipping they will charge you for it and take it as theirs, this is on top of other fees they charge normally for their services. And they have a very poor customer service as they do not respond to enquiries, they deserve to be investigated or sued

Prepaid duties before it shipped but was left a notice saying I still had to pay duties and the post office is an hour away from me it should have been left at my door with no fees never dealing with them again Borderfree is better

You should use another company for international purchases, keep away from this brand, a lot of delays, 7 days later of my order they placed the order, then I lost several products that seemed to be out of stock because the bad work from international checkout. The customer supports is an eternal fight, they don't want to help anybody.

Biggest scammers. Being charged 3 times the amount of what the product is actually worth for delivery from America to Australia.
I've purchased products from all over the world and never experienced this. Crooks!

Really terrible experience with them.
There was a single invoice for two items. What they did was unpacking the original box and ship it with fedex in two different boxes. The result was double charging from Fedex during custom clearance. However, there was no real reason for shipping in two boxes. Their excuse was "Orders are repackaged to guarantee the safest, most efficient international delivery possible. What would happen if they have shipped both items in a single box? The shipment would be in danger? The only reason I think they are doing this is because they want to charge everything twice in cooperation with FedEx. From their stupidity and their inability, I was charged additionally more than 100 euro during custom clearance.

Never, never use them.

I ordered two IP phones through them from IP Phone warehouse. My credit card was charged immediately but after ten days there is still no news. I tried calling repeatedly but there is no answer. Messages left on the website or sent to support email were not returned. I contacted Scott at IP Phone Warehouse who answered the first couple of emails and said that International Checkout (IC) was a different company. When I asked him to identify my order he said that they have many from IC, which goes to show that they have selected IC as their international agent. I provided full details about my order but then Scott went silent. I am now forced to go through the process of cancelling the transaction, not getting a product and going elsewhere. It is incredible that such businesses are allowed to operate in Wisconsin and California. I would strongly recommend to go elsewhere and not transact with either company.

Tip for consumers:
Go somewhere else.

I was told by a store to order through them so I could pay with a foreign credit card. Once the order went through there was no way to adjust it and they added $65 in fees. There is also no way to cancel the order. WATCH OUT.
Once item is shipped you will NEVER get back their fee or any taxes, and you're up for your own return shipping & refund costs.
These guys are a rip off middleman they ONLY make their money off your purchase. Wherever possible use other grey channels or pay directly via paypal.

If I could sue these $#*!twats, I would. I ordered from POS Micro about a month back. They finally received the package. At this point all that they would have to do is send me my package. But I guess that in itself is too big of a feat for them to do. So now, we are going on two months. K still haven't received my order from them. They still haven't shipped it out. It has taken a dozen international calls to them to get their $#*! together, a guy on their end has to physically walk over to their warehouse "to check what happened". Because the customer support emails are being handled by lazy twats called Eve and Nea. Who likes to keep responding "we will update you once, we have more information".

If you have a choice, do NOT ever use their services. The whole lot of them are absolute morons and condescending $#*!es.

$#*!ing huge $#*! mistake dealing with this company.

Usually never put a bad rating for a company but I had such a terrible experience with and they were so unprofessional and did not care about anything that 1 star already too nice. Bought avoid them at all cost and will also never buy on crailstore again.

I dont do a huge amount of online shopping and this company has reminded me why. Before i put my order for a pair of shoes in, i checked the sizing via email with Intrenatioal Checkout. Was given an answer so ordered said item. When it arrived it was the wrong size. This is when they showed their true colours. Not interested. It will now cost me $90 in delivery and exchange fees in total to look at a wrong pair of shoes in a box. You may think you are getting a good deal but shipping costs and sending incorrect items with costs incurred to the buyer is im sure how they make their money.

Ordered in mid-may, order summary still showing that package is in their warehouse, agent says package has shipped but unable to provide a tracking number. Don't have much confidence that I'll receive a tracking number by email as promised. The online chat worked well yesterday and agent was friendly; couldn't get through to them today though.

Cant figure it out how they manage to always be out of stock. Everything you buy from a merchant who use International Checkout seems to be out of stock, even though is on stock at the time you checkout.
Better use amazon or ebay or maybe open a paypal account.
I realized after 15 days that my order was out of stock, find it out calling International check out because they will never notify the status of your order.
I will just pass in the future any merchant who use this method for check out.

I ordered a few pieces of clothings and they charged me more than usd 100 to deliver them to HK. It's expensive to start with. They estimated the delivery time to be 6-8 business days but then end up it has been almost a month and I have yet to even receive a tracking number of the package! They don't reply my emails on time and the update of the status is sporadic.

I was charged $100 for a $149 ítem, charge that I fully regret now. After more than a month, and several e-mails which include direct communication to the seller, I still have not received my order. According to the order status on their web page, the item has not been shipped yet!. In the meantime, I was buying another article from a different seller. Mission was aborted when I became aware that IC was in charge of the shipping and requested an additional $60 for that purpose. Later, I found another seller that sent me the same item to the same address charging only $10. The item arrived four days later, one before expected, although there was a weekend included.

It took 20 days to get my order from the U.S. to the U. A. E. It was groceries from an online supplier in VA. Some stuff was moldy already, not surprisingly. They work on a "business days" basis, but we live in a "calendar days" world IMHO. Because Thanksgiving happened to get in the way I was TOLD I knew what their POLICY was when I complained. Last time, shipping from the supplier via MyUS, it took 9 days from order to delivery. I won't use them again.

I made an order for my son's Christmas gift of something he asked for. These douchebags took my money and then a day later cancelled the order, stating they could not fulfill the order. I'm pretty sure that if they advertise something, they should have it or drop the listing.

Their reply was: "You have been issued a full refund for this order. Unfortunately, there
Is not an infinite number of items. We apologize for any inconvenience
This may have caused you."

I guess its all good now, since they apologized for being a sh! Tty company.

Stay away from these crooks.

Please avoid this business. Yes on the surface it looks great; a way to purchase on-line with those retailers who don't trade direct, especially internationally. But save yourself the hassle, annoyance and frustration. I ordered a couple of simple items. Four weeks later I hadn't heard anything. I had to chase them, and chase them and chase them. Their only answer was to pass the buck and ask that I remain patient! And no refund. I eventually contacted three federal USA agencies to register a complaint. Lo and behold immediately I informed them of this, the order was cancelled and a full refund (supposedly) will be issued! Don't get sucked in by the apparent ease of this transaction, its a nightmare and their customer service (apart from the standard scripted response and BS) is non-existent. Don't say you weren't warned! One star only because I cant rate them ZERO!

I was quoted a price for the shipping of my purchase to Australia. The money was paid via PayPal and then I received a request for additional money for shipping or my goods would not be delivered. The shipping cost was exorbitant to start with and then I was basically held to ransom for the goods and, after having paid the extra I am advised that it will take up to 20 days for delivery.

Do not purchase goods from companies using International Checkout!

I place an order at Dr. Martens USA. At checkout, Dr. Martens.com returns me to Internationnal Checkout. After completing the payment form with my bank account, I confirm my purchase and I am redirected to a blank page with a window "Site Malveillant".
I have no order number, I don't know if my order has been validated or not.
After reading the reviews on this site, I quickly make my credit card opposition.
It's a shame that Dr. Martens is affiliated with them.

"What you are seeing for shipping and handling is not just shipping, it also includes a fee for using our service since otherwise the store won't be able to process your foreign payment method"

$130 shipping to simply process a Canadian Credit card for a small item shipped from Maryland to Montana. If I were to use my US Credit card it would be $10 ground shipping. To inform a business that they cannot process international payments without their high fees etc is nearly criminal. STAY AWAY

I purchased what turned out to be an oversized item unaware. They have small print in T &Cs - it's not clearly shown at checkout - that the shipping amount may change but the checkout calculated the shipping, and i paid with this with my credit card. The shipping amount ended up being 5x that and in negotiating a lower amount - it turned out that ordering through international checkout doesn't place a hold on an order so 8 days later - it turned out the items i ordered were gone after all that!

It took 8 days because of their slow customer service. I called, tried chat (got through 2x out of 9 tries) and called and left a message 1x with no response. Emails were frequently misunderstood or not answered and chat was more helpful in moving the discussion forward. I would not use this company again if a checkout diverted to it.

Immediately charged my credit card and went through so that my card was charged, they are claiming couldn't verify my billing address and couldn't charge my card, have to fight to get a refund, avoid this company.

Huge rip off of a company. Charge over $100USD for a $149 item. Claim its oversize. I claim its nothing more than a money grab. If the Zgallerie used a normal shipping company cost would be less than 1/3.
Buyer Beware. If I could rate them 0 stars I would!

I have requested standard post, but you have sent it via DHL, it did arrive fast, but I was forced to pay VAT and Service charge to DHL for releasing the parcel from customs. It was an additional cost of over 50$ for me. This wouldn't have happened if you would send it standard post, I have received many goods with much higher value without paying additional charges.
Next time please follow the order, post is USP and not DHL.
