I had this device literally since Saturday, Nov. 28,2020 until Dec. 1,2020! I have called many many times to complain. Haven't driven my car since Saturday when I put the device in. Wanna know why?! Cause my battery is drained! Finally recharged it this morning, only to be stranded at a store. The battery died again. Now I have to get my car towed. Please stay away from this company. I'm a voluntary account. They have discouraged me greatly from doing the right thing. I have already spent over $200 in Uber rides and a battery charger! For the rep. To tell my end bill is $109 and I only had this device less than 72 hours is beyond me!
I could write a book with all the issue I've had with this company. No idea if the others are better, but no way they can ne worse. Not broke anymore talking to a lawyer tomorrow about the BS violations
There is not 24 hour customer service as advertised, and it's difficult to get a real person. Intoxalock reported a tamper violation after I informed them of vehicle maintenance and supplied supporting documentation. This resulted in my license being revoked. Then this company charged me for an early removal fee and refused to let me speak with a supervisor. Too bad there isn't an option for no stars.
The interlock will claim lockouts even after blowing 0.00. Employees aren't helpful and there's never a supervisor when you need one. This company focuses on taking your money and that's all. You will not receive any help.

From charging me for things that didn't happen, horrible customer service (30+ minute wait times for calls if they even answer, putting you on hold until they hang up, picking up the phone and immediately hanging up, hanging up mid conversation) their product doesn't work well either. For a week they told me they were shipping my device when I originally got it installed and it didn't show until I got ahold of someone after trying to get ahold of them for 2 1/2 hours (they'd hang up or put my on hold until the call automatically ended) horrible company. Its a literal scam. Anyone who knows a good lawyer should look into filing a lawsuit

This company is a complete Rip off they will lie to you and Steal Your Money! Do not fall prey to their scams. Customer service is very rude, the rep was working from home and his dog was in the background barking very loud. Money was taken out of my bank account for a device HMU that was never installed or delivered to me. I have been calling this company for the past 48 hours just to be passed around to different departments. This company in need to be investigated, make sure you do your homework before releasing your bank card over to these crooks. Read the reviews and make sure to watch the youtube device as well. I am considering contacting the attorney general of Texas. Buyers beware! Do not trust this company.

This company is absolute garbage. On top of scheduling an appointment, confirming it, then telling you it was never scheduled and you having to pay double the original amount because of their screwup. You will have random people calling you from multiple numbers and texting you, each with a new a different story, no one is communicating right. Then on top of that they tell you they notify the DMV every 15 minutes, well don't trust that, because they don't. I got my license suspended because they lied and straight up never notified the DMV after going through so much to get this installed for double the original price. They will stop providing good customer care after the thing is installed, because they don't care about you now, on top of that an extra $250 in random fees. DO NOT go through them, trust me. Garbage

Whenever you call them the customer service is the least helpful experience ever. They charge you an additional fee if your battery dies and then give you a while condescending speech about "not letting your battery die" in the middle of winter.
The next experience I had with their customer service was when I went to get my device calibrated. Their servers were down and I drove 40 miles since the closest service center was so far.
Couldn't get it calibrated on my last day allowed (right between a weekend and a holiday). They told me I was $#*! out of luck if I didn't get it done that day. No offer to postpone. Just a "good luck with that."

I had this installed on my car in November and it has killed my car battery. You'll wait on Hold forever to get help. I'm currently at 45 minutes. This piece of crap costs $118 a month and it has rendered my car useless. Now I need a new battery. I just bought the battery last autumn. Ridiculous.
The SALES reps, on the other hand, are RIGHT on answering their phones.
This place seems like a scam. They take advantage of people who have gotten in trouble for drinking and driving by telling them they need this device whether they do or do not actually need it. They're pushy with sales. I let my fiancé use my card for the first payment. They then saved my card number & charged me after that. When I called to tell them I didn't authorize the charge, they said they understood but would not refund my account. Now, I obviously got the money back from my fiancé, but it shows they really only care about making money. The customer is definitely not their first concern. There's also hidden fees. They will give you a price on installation & then charge you to ship the device to the mechanic. They'll start charging their weekly fee before installation is even completed. All over they're pretty crummy!

This company is the absolute worst to deal with on all counts. Their customer service is non existent. No one ever answers and you then get stuck in a useless loop of useless information. The device itself malfunctions to such a degree it damage my ignition system. They are a customer service nightmare. Young, abusive and accusatory. In fact, I have been hung up on while writing this. JUVENILE behavior. The reps they use are unreliable as well and work out of shady businesses themselves. The reps do not care for the service either. I have not had this installed on 3 years and today get called about owing them. Not to mention, I was told I was being turned over to collections for a $500 product fee and questioned repeatedly how I could have removed the device without a work order. Cant imagine how a terribly run company using sketch installers could ever make a mistake…. This is not my problem when you as a company suck and then use sketch installers… this is grift!

I've been using this company for one month and had to pay hundreds of dollars for bs lockouts. Customer service cant or wont help good luck trying to speak with a manager left them voice mails and never reached back out to me. If you use this company plan on being late everywhere you go and getting fired from your job and paying a ton of money for nothing.
This is hands down the worst company, device and customer service available. The device will drain your battery ever day and then when you get locked out due to their faulty equipment, they will charge you 75 dollars to get it back up and draining your battery again. I would give more info but I have to go buy a battery tender so I can have a working vehicle when I get back from out of town for work this Thursday. Worst decision I have ever made and thats over my drinking and driving to be in this mess... absolutely horrible...
I have had Intoxalock for about five days. I have been to the service center 4 times so far for problems. Have had to lock outs due to battery issues. Took to my service center and they tell me battery and alternator are fine. They replaced hand held and still having same issues. It makes me blow about ten times in a 30 min drive. Horn starts randomly going off for no reason. This is a horrible system. I am at the service center right now to hopefully get this resolved.

Wanna be charged hundreds of dollars to put the device in, get extensions, and have it removed because you can't afford it anymore? This company is horrible. They don't even deserve a one star after removing my card from my account that I had closed weeks ago. Still getting charges still can't talk to a supervisor when I call had to use the service center number in order to even get through after many calls, Karen Schneider, the sales rep. Told me to call her if there were any issues and she would refund my money left her many voicemails. Talk to many people about her. Everybody told me she would call me back well that went on for many weeks. Eventually I just wrote it off but now, after closing my account and having everything removed, still being charged asked for proof that they removed my card they can't do that so we are going the legal Route. This is a scam And after you leave a bad review for them, they Sell your number And you're being harassed getting calls 10 times a day from the same person trying to sell you a protection plan for a system you don't have

Surprise cost every week. They lie to keep it on. $75 every calibration and 20 at service they charge your account almost every week. Also poor customer service. Do not us this service. They've owed me close to $450 for over a month now & keep telling me they'll credit it back to my card on file; they've intentionally waited until I had the devise removed, then closed my account & now won't give my money back. Customer service is awful, fees are awful, all around a horrible company. If you have to get an IID, go with Smart Start...they're a great company to deal with & they don't rip you off.
It is beyond difficult to talk with anyone from this company. Every time I try to get a calibration, they send me to the wrong place. Then when you try to actually get a hold of someone, they tell you they'll call back and never do. Or you'll leave a message and they won't call back. Usually companies like this only want your money, I can't even get a hold of anyone to take my money.
Intoxalock charges $75.00 for any and all issues acquired during the time you have their device. They are preying on their consumers. If I had another option I would surely drop them in a heartbeat. I blew into my device after 5 min of using mouthwash and didn't try to start the vehicle. Yep….a $75.00 fee. What a joke and little gig they have going.

After 2 years when it was time to get it removed all the sudden my device went faulty and I was told that I was in violation and they added 6 more months to my time. I have yet to read one good review as I'm sure your are seeing for yourself. The bbb needs to shut them down... it's a complete money scam. One of the biggest rackets out there and no one even cares...
If I could give them negative stars it would be better. This company is a scam. They will overcharge you are rude as hell. The guy who works in accounting will get you mostly through then hang up. Do yourself a favor and go with any other company. You will highly regret if you ever have to deal with this company. I already called the bbb and will continue to find places to let everyone know how terrible this company is. If you do go with them don't give them an account to auto draft from. Over two and a half years they double charged me 12 times.
Out of nowhere my device said lock out in four days so I called them to find out what it was about well they said after I turned off the car and got out device went back on so they charged me $20 at the shop and then $130 on top of that complete rip off do not get
