I am not tech savvy so I appreciate being able to call Iolo for support when I need it, There is usually little wait time and they always go through my computer to clean it up after correcting the problems.
I already unsubcribed and remove my credit card information and they still charged me. Previously without consent they charged also extra $20 per month for tech support. Before that i bought a time extension and i don't get any extra time. I emailed them and there was no response. The only thing that i can do is to close my CC and get a new one to avoid being charged forever! Shame on you IOLO! They are a thief company.

I was having trouble finding someone to help me with my email domain and other configuration issues. Tech support.com was the answer. Might not be the least expensive, but worth it, especially if you may need support more than once. The whole thing happened quickly, and the tech was patient and stayed with it until I was satisfied.
I called fo help on get my drivers and Ricky (girl) helped me fix a lot of things that were wrong snd not downloaded. Then she transfered me to Mark who took support of my computer and we figured out how I got hacked. These people changed my email slightly and were contacting my email friends asking for money. After 15 phone calls I called US Teck support for help. As always they came through.
Comments are heartfelt thanks for job a job well done. Iolo's system mechanic pro is one of the best out there. I have used it before and it works very well on my comp.
Although I have been w/SM for many moons, it has only been a couple of years that I have paid for & engaged w/SM's Tech Support. While the decision to turn over one's PC/Laptop/Smart Phone et al is not to be taken lightly, I have come to find a significantly high level of trust w/my interactions & SM's Techs: not only do they all have an elevated degree of knowledge re: this forever changing Tech world, they are also closely monitored by their supervisors and have an exceptionally superior workplace code of ethics & trust. I was unable to download Apps as Windows Defender did not recognize them. After multiple hours of other tech assistance including the Software's vendor I was unable to start the app. After reaching the second tier tech help at Iolo the problem was resolved within ten minutes. Money well spent after wasting over 16 hours with others.

They appear to have been instructed to upsell their service contracts. Purchase that which seems right for your needs. They do not oversell and are very courteous. They pulled me out of a nightmare & I am very appreciative of their services.

I was a bit skeptic about my friend's recommendation of Iolo's new System Mechanic Ultimate Defence since my prior experience concluded that mostly my system worked fine before downloading any kind of PC Cleanup tool. However I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised at the number of features the package offers, each tool being quite straight forward and easy-to-use. The thing I liked best was the level of detail provided by each scan result. One thing that bugged me though was that some of the tools did not have one-click fixes and needed to be corrected manually. Other than that I could not find any fault in Iolo's System Suite. Highly recommended.
Truly a great asset. After trying with other vendors for weeks, IOLO fixed the problem in no time. I am truly impressed and money well spent.
I will keep up my subscription with them.

I am an American who retired in Germany, and only know the basics about computers, but have learned a lot from IOLO. Thank goodness I have a flat rate for calling a US number, but for those outside the US, the cost of contacting them is only the 1st call of any session, because they can call you back at their expense. Top customer technical computer service at a very reasonable price!

I am honestly very pleased with System Mechanic's optimizer. It's considerably fast-paced; scanned my files in under a minute and immediately notified me of all the files that were preventing my system from performing optimally. It's very convenient to get your PC up and running so that you can get along with your job and minimize time wastage which is often the result of a slow PC. I highly recommend this software.
I bought this software few days back and to be honest, It delivered what it stated. This Antivirus keeps the track of malicious item and clean junk files as well. It is one time purchase, So there is no need to worry about more. I have used this program few days back and trust me it is like a doctor to my hard drive. It solved all the Issues in a single click. Trustworthy communication with IT professionals for my laptop. I highly recommend using their Premium package to maintain and clean-up technology devises. My 6-year-old Dell Inspiron laptop is still working like new thanks to their monthly assistance. Cost a little to have less headaches and quick access to support staff with a phone call and remote sessions. I'm not tech-savvy so I appreciate their assistance to maintain a computer I paid over $800 for.

I used various anti-virus before I finally settled with System Mechanic. I am very much impressed with its performance. It doesn't slow down the speed of my PC and is extremely efficient. It takes just a few minutes to scan my PC for any viruses or malware, and with the help of the Optimizer, everything goes well.

In May I paid for a premium version of their System Mechanic software. In early July an upgrade was issued. When first installed, the program could only be found in the remove programs setting in the control panel.
Reinstalled, same problem. Now I won't install at all. Waste of money. And on their webpage they admit they have problems with the installation of the software and will fix it some.
Since I have paid for the program and now can't use it, I will not renew.
Stay away from this one, folks.
I clicked on the free one month trial and at one point it indicates the first month is free then you will be charged if the subscription is continued. I entered my card info, assuming it was for day 31 and I was instantly charged. A box pops up to call a phone number to continue with the subscription. I called and explained that I signed up for the free service and was instantly charged. Mark, the agent immediately said I did wrong and if I was getting the free service it would not have asked for a card. He was negative and wanted to almost argue. Then he asked what I wanted him to do about it. I asked for a credit, which I will not get for 7-10 days. I thought this was a legit company.
While the products are fairly good, I will not buy them again. I am not able to manage my account or my subscriptions online. It is extremely difficult to find the url to get to your account. If you do not want to auto renew your subscription, it is canceled and cannot be managed online. You are only able to manage your products if you are on auto-renew, and you must call their support to add or remove that function. I asked that it be canceled and my CC info removed - you cannot do that yourself online. They did not delecte my CC info and still refuse to do that. When they canceled my auto-renew, my subscriptions dissppeared from my account, and they cannot put them back. I can still use the product, but will have to jump through hoops if I need to download a new copy. I have used System Mechanic for at least 8 years, but cannot see any of my past orders. I will not buy it again.
