“Ordered just before christmas money taken out of account...”

robert w.
1/8/11

Ordered just before christmas money taken out of account 3 days later. £71 and not the £69 as advertised. Ipod arrived on the 5th Jan and guess what its a fake and does not sync up with the computer. Cancelled debit card just in case and got in touch with my bank about fraudulent use of card. Have been told to return item so they may be able to retrieve the money back, but guess what can`t find a return address :(. So got in touch with the couriers that delivered ipod to see if they can help. Will post if anything happens.

Ordered 'good offer' ipod but felt unsure, should have trusted my gut instinct or checked this site first. Order still shown as 'processing' nothing received and have had no reply to my messages. How come these sites are still left operating when people are complaining? Have had to contact bank, cancel card and all the crap that goes with it. Have learnt never to use a site that it not known to me (the hard way)

As with the other i placed an order on the 14/12/10 for a ipod nano and received confirmation within minutes! But when i logged into my account it was saying payment processing! I then had an email from visapay to say they were a third party company working for ipodnanosite! No contact number and have sent numerous emails but still nothing! Phoned the bank and cannot do anything for 10days then i can claim fraudulent use! There goes my husbands xmas pressie.
Arseholes!

Placed an order on the 15/12/10, had a bad feeling as soon as I did it! Money has been taken but I'm not holding out much hope for the genuine article. Contacted bank, they said it could take 6 months to get my money back. So disappointed, buggered my Xmas :(

Purchased three (!) of the Ipod Nanos in December. They DID arrive after 30 days but are clearly counterfeit and do not work. Have been trying for the last month to get a refund via Visamasterpay.com who are equally bogus, they have a standard email which gets sent back everytime I contact them, I am going around in circles. My Mastercard has said they can open an incident which may result in a claim through them but I need to verify the fact the goods are counterfeit with an Apple Store and then send them copies of all correspondence with supplier. A very lengthy process but I am down £212 so I will continue to pursue!

I feel like a right fool not checking up on this company before hand. I ordered an ipod on the 12/12/10, £71 was taken from my account. I recieved 3 confirmation emails from them that all showed up in my junk mail, been in touch with the bank and they can't do anything until 30 days. I will have one disappionted 10yr old daughter on xmas day. I will be alot more careful ordering online again.:-(:-(

Like all the others who have reviewed this site, I have just found out today this is a rogue site and www.digginshop.com. I purchased an ipod, received no delivery date, tried to contact the website and could get no answer, when I searched for the website, I got this one complaining, didn't even know it was a Chinese company until I got credit card transaction, too late though they have taken the money twice - had to cancel card. Can't be classed as fraud as I gave my details, got to try and dispute payments now - nightmare!

Had the same experience as everyone else and fingers crossed my bank can refund my money. Totally shocked at how this site can scam so many people and not be caught!

Had orderer the Ipod nano like most other reviewers, it didnt arrive in time to give as Christmas present but money taken from account. Tried to get in touch with the site but to no avail. My bank took over to retrieve my payment with success and they subsequently got their money back from the site too however the item then arrived weeks afterwards by which time I no longer had any need for it and had the my refund. Now being badgered by the payment 'visamasterpay.com' company on behalf of Ipodnano.com who want me to pay for the item again but I want a return address so that I can return it. Bank tells me they must supply me with a return address legally or they are in breach of the visa payment legal scheme. Lets see what happens!

Like most others i too have been scammed by the ipod nano site/ shop... alitopay took the payment, which is part of visamasterpay.com, this site looks genuine but unsure i mailed them and have had a response sayin they have mailed the vender and to await for a response. SNAP! I too placed an order for a nano for a christmas pressie for one of the kids tonight. I got a funny feeling seconds after placing the order when a confirmation email did not arrive. On looking at how to contact them, I found their email address only, which was a hotmail account. Alarm bells automatically rang! I have called my bank and the payment has been cancelled, but now with it being days from christmas, I've got to wait for a replacement bank card etc which will arrive after christmas, so its just the biggest pain in the bum now with buying all my christmas stuff. When an offer looks too good to be true, then take my word for it - it is! Totally angry and feel really stupid.

I personally know of three people they have done this too. It is SO SO SO important that everyone contact watchdog, apple and crimestoppers about this to get this STOPPED. These people will get whats coming to them if enough people take action.

Again like others I found this site on a google search (4th or 5th link down), I guessed that it was genuine as it was so high on the google search and they were selling the 5th Generation Nano at what would be a reasonable price. I placed my order on the 15/12/2010 for £89.00 and guess what, my payment is still processing. I had not checked the internet for a couple of days and used a friends computer to log on today, when I put in the web address the service provider said the site could not be found so I googled again and the top result was a link to this website. After reading the comments here I spoke to my bank and a payment was made to a company in China for just over £92.00. Feel a complete prat and will now have to explain to my daughter why she will have to wait a bit longer for a new ipod. My bank says I need to lodge a grievance and see if I can get my money back.

Got a bit worried as I've been checking order online for a couple of days and hadn't appeared to have moved on to despatched. Even though it looked like a bone fide website, got a gut feeling and decided to check if anyone had heard of it. Gutted to find out that it is a rogue website and that I've just been stung for £70. Had to get on to credit card to cancel card but as they deem that I have 'authorised' payment, I will need to go through dispute process to try and get my money back! I mean, who would knowingly give their credit card details to a rogue website? The deal appeared too good to be true - and it was. I've learned my lesson the hard way!

Before Christmas I was looking for a 5th generation ipod nano and ipodnanosite appeared tobe selling them for £89 which is a sensible price and with all of the apple icons it seemed genuine enough.
I had the feeling that something wasnt quite right but foolishly went ahead and enetered my card details and bought an ipod nano for £89. When the confirmation email arrived more alarm bells were ringing but as i had a couple of important jobs to do I had to leave the inetrnet until later on in the evening. When i did some research i found that were a complete scam and immediately cancelled my bank card. The bank knew of the company and confirmed it was a scam but that they couldnt stop the payment as it was in process. It was also more than the £89, actual figure of £92.62.
I tried going back on the ipodnanosite using teh username and password that we registered with and surprise surprise it kept saying we werent registered.
This week the ipod arrived and what a piece of junk it is. It doesnt sync, the dial doesnt work, it feels like its going to break when you put the usb charger into it or when you press the dial.
Avoid this site at all costs.
Im trying to get the money back through the disputes procedure but not holding out much hope to be honest.
Payment wa staken by visamasterpay.com so if you ever see that associated with any sites please avoid those as well.

Well i am a 17 year old girl, & i really wanted a purple 8GB ipod nano from the website www.ipodnanosite.com I told my mother about this website as i was very excited about getting it, as i have wanted an ipod nano for such a long time. We didn't think there would be any problem to go ahead with this as the website looks very genuine but obviously this was a lie. It was only until today that my mother said "Right, there has been a problem with your main present" I was thinking 'oh no, hasn't it arrived on time' then she told me about the reviews on many websites saying this website was a scam, we are all mortified. Knew the price was to good to be true! So it looks like Christmas is in a few days and i am going without a present! & my mother & father have lost out on £69+, words cannot describe how outraged we are to be honest! Looks like a lot of people have been scammed! What a great start to Christmas this is aye!

I am also a victim :(( it was supposed to be a Xmas gift and I have never received it. The price "to good to be true" ( and now I know it) was supposed to be £69 and my account was charged for £70.41 with strange description "HENHAO CO. LTD SHENZHEN CHN EXCHANGE RATE INFORMATION: 718.32 CNY@10.2019
£70.41"... silly me! I will definitely report the website.

Same as others i've been completley scammed by one of these IPod Nano sites - beware their are a few of them out their operating under different domain names but basically the same scam. A payment of £60 was taken from my account and the website was taken down by the server provider due to abuse and scamming! http://www.ipods-nanosshop.info. You may recieve an "IPOD" as some other people have. But its rubbish and doesnt work by the sounds of things! I'm not holding out much hope!
