Recently stayed at Iris Garden Inn at 347 Main St, Garden City Savannah GA. For four nights from Aug 30th. 2024 to Sep 3rd 2024. Stayed in a room on the ground floor and and on the final night of the stay trying to sleep around 10 pm and loud thuds were coming from the floor above so called the front desk to report that noise was coming directly from the room above and the agent responded she did not know what room was above our room (dumb response) unbelievable noise continued till 11 pm so went to front desk and told the woman at the desk about it and she started yelling and stating that it wasn't her problem and she wasn't going to go upstairs and was told for me to go upstairs and find out (unbelievable) told her she was responsible for fixing the issue and it turned out into a shouting match and the agent called the police on us. This is what you can expect from this hotel. Icing on the cake windows have no curtains only a cheap $5 blind that does no cover the window and people from outside can see in the room. Breakfast is a joke juice machine has nothing but water in every fountain coffee is so watered down it doesn't taste like coffee. Water in the bathroom sink is just a dribble. This is a scam and the owner & management should be ashamed of themselves but they don't care so stay at your own risk
