Send me a a letter for a proposed amount owed because apparently I didn't file 2 w-2's. I called them to sort it out because I never received W-2's from these places. I got this cranky, crotch, $#*! on the phone operator number 100…she proceeded to speak to me in the most condescending tone…she spoke to me like I was supposed to to know exactly what she was taking about. I had never heard of the forms she was saying so when trying yo ask a question she said "you keep asking that and I keep telling you we don't need that form you need it for your records" so I kept asking her.on what is it I need to do then…she'd tell me and it sounded like I needed a w-2 so I asked again…so I just need a w-2 to prove they paid me? She said "No I already said no" so I said what are you talking about then I'm confused I've never seen…she start to talk over me….and she continues and I try to interrupt since she interrupted me I was saying "can I finish? Will you let me talk" over and over and she just kept talking over me. I finally yelled at her "WILL YOU LET ME TALK!" So she hung up on me! Bunch of crooks! And jerks!
I piad a professional to do my taxes and I get $14 back. I called them and they explained that my daughter is no longer of age so I won't be able to get earn income tax credit. I told them my daughter is 6 years old. How do you ever determine how old she is? I don't know the guy said and he asked me to fax a birth certificate. I did fax the information and I call back to get a call back 2 1/2 hours later asking for the status of my fax. I just wanted to make sure they received it. The guy was so rude he said we don't have a personal fax ma'am with a tone on his voice. It takes about a week for an agent to get the fax because its only one central fax. So I told him, " now I have to wait weeks for you guys to fix your mistake?" he said "This was your mistake not ours." I was taken back by what he said already blaming me without even looking at my information, then he hangs up on me. Of course I wasn't going to call back and wait 3 hours for a call back. The IRS has the worst customer service reps I've ever dealt with.
This is by far the worst organization in America who robs people for their money and decides when they feel like its best for you to receive anything from THEIR corporation. Ive been waiting on a EIP since the ending of last year 2020 which millions of Americans have received their payments. The world needs to know how rigged and selfish American government is. The first EIP I received earlier in 2020 came directly to my account in the matter or days after the bill was signed. I didnt have to go looking for more information. Now, in 2021 as of February 1st I'm still waiting to either be notified or stimulated with the EIP2. The site has no information available to assist me irs.gov. I truly believe someone if not everyone employed through or for the IRS should be fired and give the true American people their jobs. Most of which has had their positions in the company for two or more decades needs immediate termination for unjustly amd poor treatment to the American people who have kept this organization afloat since is established date and time.

IRS has by far the most disrespectful people working for them. Now someone used my SS # and filed for me. I had to end up mailing my return back. Long story short... I called gave them info waited another 2 months NOTHING! Now today I got time Im home and decided o call them The 1st rep picked up and goes "my name is not necessary, but my ID # is so and so" she said so fast I didn't even get to write it down. She then says "is this for payment or for a return" I said return, she just clicked the phone back to the automatic system and put me on hold again, mind you I was already on hold for 1 hr 23 minutes... now another 1 answered the phone, but this time the phone on her end was going in and out so I made her aware and automatically she gets an attitude. I say "Ms please understand I've now been holding for 2 hours so I'm frustrated and now your phone is going in and out" I'm not 100% sure what she was saying but all you hear is attitude she then puts me on hold and about 2 minutes she hangs up. Again had I owed the IRS money y'all would of been on my back and in my account deducting. YOU GUYS OWE ME SO WHY ALL THE ATTITUDE AND WHATS THE DAMN DELAY. I have not received no letters in the mail or NOTHING stating the delay. Get some respectful people with proper communication and less attitude to work. I'm a taxpayer I need to know what's going on. I can promise you if I was a white person or had it been a white person on the other end of the line he/she would of gotten the ultimate top tier respect. The IRS reps are mean, nasty, disrespectful, and inconsiderate when handling customers! They are always trying to make you seem like you are stupid, can't comprehend anything, or are less than human. They are trained to talk down to you! No matter how many times I tried to speak, this guy kept talking over me and not listening to anything. Finally, when I called him out on his TERRIBLE customer service, after being on hold for damn near 2 hours to talk to someone, he had the audacity to hang up on me! After I've spent 2 hours just waiting to speak to a rude $#*!, how dare you hang up a call on a person because you don't like what they said. Business is business and my business wasn't conducted and this jerk decided it was because he wanted to feel like he was in control. I don't know what it is about government employees but they ALL feel like they are ENTITLED to be controlling and disrespectful. The USPS employees are the same! If I could give the IRS a negative rating, I would give them a negative 1000!

Ive been instructed to call them since their website doesn't let me proceed any further, had to call their (*******994) waited for someone to answer them the automated call says "they're experiencing system issues, please call back later" after all the time waiting. Not worth trying to call them, unless you want 2 hours wasted for nothing
This experience was the saddest. Ive gone through heartbreak, depression and anxiety, but whoevers name stars with M and ID goes along the numbers of 100 36 something 874, June 18th around 1:30 PM is the problem with the universe. Thats how you know how the call is going to go-- by how fast and inaudible the person says their name and ID. They are terrible at their job if you have to ask for it again.
When we ask questions for guidance, someone has to go out of their way to find an answer. At this point, if I hear "I dont know" I would be so embarrassed. I also work at a contact center. I know how it goes. I know customers are tough. But there is this thing called a work/life balance. If the IRS is not providing that mentality with their workers, then why are we trusting them with this inevitable process? People who help people do not work here. People who have hearts do not work here. People who have the time and patience, do not work here. I am so embarrassed I share the world with these individuals. I filed my taxes on Feb 11th my deposit date was the 24th and for some odd reason it was help back so I called the IRS at 7am when they open I'm on hold for almost 2hours the representative takes another 30mins to look into my case along with her supervisor to tell me they don't see why it was held back and I would have to wait 9 weeks to get a response I asked to talk to a supervisor she started yelling at me telling me would take 45 days for one to back to me and then hung up. This is bull$#*! if we owe them there quick to garnish our wages but if they owe us we have to wait to get our hard earned money this is $#*!ing ridiculous. I HATE THE $#*!ING GOVERNMENT

I have been back and forth with 8 different departments neither of which is correct and neither of which knows whats going on, then they tell me they close my account and doesnt show a refund. Tried to get advice on how to dispute a penalty. Was treated with immense condescension and then they just hung up on me.
Back in February I filled my taxes now it's September and I haven't gotten my refund yet or my stimulus check either I personally don't trust the government
So I needed a question answered about the EIN number I applied for. The first time I called it said there were too many people already on hold so I would have to try and call again later.
When I called back later, the message said there were still a lot of callers, so rather than wait on hold I could leave my phone number and they would call me back in 47 minutes. Well that time came and went.
Around 3 hours later I decided I would call them again. This time when the message asked if I would like a call back I refused and decided to just wait on hold. It said my hold time was 15-30 minutes.
I figured I'd be ok. It was still an hour and a half before they closed for the day. Well it's now 7:05 pm. I'm still on hold. They have officially closed for the day. I'm going to stay on hold for a little longer. What harm can be done at this point I've already wasted hours.
So we've hired an additional 80,000 irs employees, why can't a few thousand be put on answering the phone duty?
Has the apparent idiot in charge ever tried calling the IRS to see what a joke his operation is, and to see how much time people waste just trying to get in touch with a representative.
If this was the private sector, this business would have been out of business long ago for such crappy customer service.
Let me guess we are paying the people in the executive positions hundreds of thousands of dollars to run a business which can't even do a simple thing like, answer the phone when there customers call.

First off can we please defund the IRS. During COVID 19 while so many IRS Federal Government workers get to sit on their lazy assess at home and work, we see that they can't even do their jobs there. Most are on little zoom meetings or outside mowing their yards while people like me who need answers as to why I now need to provide a 6 digit number to file my taxes but never needed an IP PIN before nor have I ever been contacted of anything fraudulent happening to my account until this year. I wonder how many IRS workers go through this? You cannot get anyone on the phone cause they are all at home playing with their children outside while I spent 6 hours today trying to figure out what I need to do in a state that isn't supported for getting an IP PIN so here I sit with this error on my taxes and no way to fix it! I wonder if it's because of the election, or COVID 19, or just government workers spoiled by the system that they can't simply do their jobs! I'm going with the later. Shut the whole damn government down and start over. Fire everyone at the IRS and hire people who give a damn about their job not just their 6 digit paychecks.
