Was charged/debited $2,400.19 (a 450% increase over past years) without authorization, for an annual account subscription that I did not renew. No reply from multiple messages to Customer Support Team (largely run by an AI Bot that replies the same message over and over), nor their Supervisors. Unless they return my funds, I am contacting local authorities, State AG, news media, and BBB. Whatever happened after being acquired by Bending Spoons, I will not rest until this matter is resolved.
They will charge your card without your consent far more than your agreed to pay! Then they will ignore your request for a refund. Avoid this company!
I was actually blown out of a chat when I asked for a refund. Tickets and complaints are ignored. And I can't get my credit card off my account so they'll probably bill me again. Definitely not worth the hassle.
Issuu is really easy to use and they've added more integrations such as with Canva. We've used it to create digital magazines that offer local resources and generate brand awareness. With our subscription level, we can remove watermarks, embed, etc., which is key. We've gotten great feedback, have embedded them on websites, and see high read times, increasing time on page and boosting SEO. Their other features like GIFs are really handy and quick to create. I'm looking forward to using Visual Stories and producing more great content through our Issuu subscription.

Nobody was properly informed of these changes and they are severely limiting what we can and cannot publish. The document and file sizes are ridiculous. This will be the reason I no longer use ISSUU. Such a disappointment.

I have been trying to delete / deactivate my account and customer services has taken days to get back to me and has me going in circles. I've tried to delete account several times and it says "service unavailable". Customer service has been offered no help. I've tried emailing several times, and calling the 800 #, left voicemails and no one has gotten back to me. This company is a scam. Do NOT USE THEM!

I found content on Issuu's website that violates their Community Standards and Terms of Service. It contained personally identifiable information on a great number of people and the textual descriptions of the posted content made defamatory/libelous claims against individuals that is false.
I've been trying to report this to Issuu for a week. I've tried every phone number I can find and emailed every email address I could find. I've left voicemails and gotten zero responses (via call or email).
Finally I realized they had a live chat feature for paying subscribers so I created an account and subscribed... only to not see the live chat feature available via the help widget like their website states you should.
I would VERY MUCH like to hear from someone at Issuu to help me get this content removed from their website as quickly as possible.

Issuu has the WORST customer service. I cannot find the user name or password for the account I inherited at work without their help, and so can't get to the dashboard. Issuu will NOT let you talk to a human, only stupid drop down menus, each more ridiculous than the last. I'd love to hear from a human there, but it looks like they just have sales people intent on continuing to foist this product on the public. TALK TO ME, ISSUU!

This is the first time I come across with a company that charged me without my authorization and did not even accept my refund request within acceptable period. It is even hard to find their contact information and they do not have any phone customer service. In the email response, they just reminded me how clearly they explained the annual charge policies and I did not follow them. This is the worst company ever. They charged me an annual amount $449 with no clear refund instruction. I am not an artist but just a regular first time user of Issuu. Why should I go purchase annual premium plan? But from now, I will post this problem on every platform so to show them customer is bigger than Issuu. I also reported it to Paypal as an unauthorized charge and will wait the result.
I set up my sales with Issuu because I liked the way they present books. They looked pretty professional.
But at $45 per month I would expect a lot more traction from potential customers. Another service I use is free and sells way more units. I'm now locked out of my account- Can't even cancel- and I'm still being charged.
Steer clear.
I've signed up for Issuu 12 years ago when it was free for up to 500 pages per publication. Despite a couple of UX bugs it was the best free publishing services for magazines.
I used it to publish our non-commercial student magazine and the idea was to have it free and accesible for public. I even embeded the publications on various sites.
Recently, I discovered all the magazines are hidden from public view?! Reason: they sneakily changed the terms and conditions and now demand 28 dollars per month to keep the magazines that I already had uploaded years ago! On tom of that, the upload dates are scrambled, the statistics are gone, and the whole site feels like a ghost town. Sad indeed.
I will move to another service, which is a pain since I'll have to re-embed all the old publication links.

Feel tricked into signing up for a very expensive annual fee when I only wanted 3 months. Not clear on their website that this will happen and no warning. Now they are not responding to my emails. BEWARE!

Random code behaviour with shares and embeds. If you think things are stable in one instance dont be surprised if it stops in the second. If you update your publication dont be surprised if the embeds, shares stop behaving. No matter which way you try it simply wont work.
Added to this I send them a ticket for help - only an automated reply. Nothing in 3 days and counting!
I recorded a video just now to show the problems - then i stumbled on this thread... i wish i had saved myself the time and not bothered!

Save your money. Totally unresponsive to Support Requests well after the 72 hour "minimum" feedback time. Social Media is used to broadcast and NOT listen. Cool concept if you don't expect service for your money.

This site deserves 0 stars. It is unbelievable! They tried to take $420 out of my account when it is so unclear. Absolutely hoodwinked and they make it impossible to cancel your account or receive any help in the slightest. I believe they have made their website purposefully IMPOSSIBLE to navigate so that they can carry on trying to take peoples money. Do not be fooled by them!
They charged me a ridiculous amount of money ($420) and all the responses I get from them are the same (they can't give me a full refund because of the policy.) It would've been great if they sent me a warning email the day before the trial ended as most companies with subscriptions usually do. A lot of other companies also has grace period for a full refund but ISSUU doesn't care about that. I am willing to pay for the first month but now they are just ignoring me and not wanting to resolve the issue.
I can't believe they charge me for 420$ and don't communicate with me at all when I want to cancel because I won't use it. I'd be happy to pay and be charged for one month as a punishment for my stupidity, but such huge amount? Really? And no answers at all after many emails from my side? I work for NGOs and we will never use their services again. This is just super unfair and a pure robbery.
