Issuu pirated my book and published it on their site in total copyright infringement and without notice or permission. I would not deal with this company under any circumstances!
They charged my account $445 for an auto renewal. It was difficult to figure out how to stop the service. I am not pleased with their policy.
I've been locked out of my account for over a week. No one ever picks up their the one phone number associated with Issuu's business and I can't seem to get an email back to fix my problem. HELP!
I tried logging into this "site" with my Google account twice and it didn't go through because the external site login is broken. What a joke! What a scam! Stay away!
This company used to be good but somehow now when there is more competition on the market they for some reason keep making their product worse and worse! The customer service is about as bad as it gets. They do not answer your question, then send an annoying amount of automated emails asking if your question was resolved. If you reply no then someone equally as unhelpful replies. They have also remove the option to embed your own publication on your own website. Well, you now have to pay for it. There are so many more companies out there that do this service for free and have so many more options than Issuu. They do not care about their customers (we have been with them for a very very long time), they keep removing features, the customer support is awful, oh and the help pages are all filled with completely WRONG and inaccurate information, even when it says it was updated only 2 or 3 days ago. I am not sure how this company is still is business but they won't be for long. Do yourself a favor and choose one of the other hundreds of companies that offer the same services. ANY other company will be better than this AWFUL company.
I discovered Issuu a few years back when I was in school and utilized it for my portfolio site. I have suggested it to many other designers as well as was able to implement it where I currently work. It has been an amazing tool to house our catalogs, brochures, and other marketing pieces. My favorite aspect of Issuu is the embed code. The company I work for has around 300 franchises. I'm able to distribute the code (or link if they need it) to the franchises one time. If we need to update that particular piece I can do so within Issuu and the franchises don't have to change their embed code or link or do anything! It is amazing! I also love how I can full screen share from the beginning or certain pages. We use that feature a lot as well. This has been such a great resource for our company to be able to reach more people in a cost effective way. I am very glad we already had all this set up in 2018 as it was extremely helpful to have this year. I can't wait to dive in to all the other features we haven't tried yet!
When I search for doll magazines, I also get child sex doll publications and catalogs. Repulsive. What company allows these? Will not use ISSUU for ANYTHING.

Have noticed conflicting information about the ISSUU site. A "cottage" publisher (blogger) indicates on their page that their copyrighted "free" magazine that appears on ISSUU is available to visitors for FREE DOWNLOAD, without sign-in. However, when I tried to download the "free" magazine, the ISSUU system requires a log-in. Also, when visiting the ISSUE site from a vendor's link, the free magazine appears, but does not appear full screen. There appears to be lots of 'junk' advertising for issuu services crowding much of the page, without any immediately recognizable means of converting the magazine image to full screen. Who really wants to read a miniatures magazine in miniaturized format? What irony! Anyway, trying to read the magazine on ISSUU doesn't quite seem worth the hassle.

Awful! I tried isuu today to check them out before going for a premium, but it seems that this site is totally scam!, They charge me $1.00 USD after putting my credit details. It seems this SIte is a FRAUD! And to warn you guys! THEY ARE COLLECTING CREDIT DETAILS! I am totally suspicious right now and will try to cancel my credit card immediately or change it! BE CAREFUL OF THIS SITE!
A year ago we were charged for an entire year even though we hadn't used the services at all during the year. I asked for a credit based on the fact we didn't use the upgraded features and they said "no". I said okay fair enough, please cancel my subscription and given that you have zero latitude in your charging practices, I will NEVER come back to you. A year later, WE ARE GETTING CHARGED ALL OVER AGAIN. No one will call us back and the site won't let us cancel our subscription! Message just says "Cancelling in progress" or something to that effect. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE business practices. DON'T USE issuu!

I have That Girl At The Party, an online Lifestyle site of 10 years and decided to add a monthly edition. I was thrilled with the Issuu concept and all my brand partners loved it. The problem came after my second edition. I need to be able to embed the Issuu reader into my site to promote the existence of the monthly. The embed code has not worked for a month now so the old edition is still on the site!
And I have been asking for help for a month now. I filled out tickets that just whirl and never submit, I have called and no one answers. I have emailed the support and heard nothing back! For a flipping month! I am paying for this service and likely will not be able to use it unless this is fixed! But no one is getting back or doing anything. It is such a shame because it is a beautiful platform and allows us to self publish. But it has to work and they need to hire customer service for subscribers.
I want to stay with Issuu for ease of use and promotion. But I may have to seek another option because they do not bother with any customer service which is a shame. It creates great magazines but if anything goes wrong in uploads or embeds you are just out of luck. But I am going to have to report them to the authorities and/or commence a class action, if I do not hear back after this review. Because they are taking people's money and not providing proper service. I
Please do not sign up and pay for anything. They do not delete your account and chrge you for a whole year up front. Im out 420.00$ i feel like an idiot for using this site.

I had never heard of this company before I was $420.00 withdrawn from my banking account by this company. I hesitate to even call this a company it is actually one dirt bag named John who is the only person that your concerns are directed to and it is always a voice mail. It is March 12th he stole my money Feb. 27th my house payment is now late and my anger at this man/scammer/scumbag/POS whatever comes to mind he is it. Do not ever use this or recommend this scam of a business to anyone. John is living it up somewhere with all the money he has stolen. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE.
