I've ordered multiple items since 2018, but my most recent purchase was for little hair bows for my nieces. Words cannot describe how adorable these turned out. Had to place 2 orders because they were so cute! Plus, they came in their cute little packaging. Definitely coming back! :) Thank you Jane!
Cute designs that last only two or four wears. Consistently disappointed with the quality. The sweaters pile and pants tear at the seams with normal use.
I made Jane.com nearly $50,000 last year selling products. My profit was a mere fraction of that. They are one of the most greedy and uneducated bunch of kids I have ever know. As a seller expect to be completely taken advantage of. When you have an issue they will simply ignore it and then get all kinds of upset if you try to bring it up. Then back to ignoring it. They have a 15 day return policy but this doesn't matter. Buyers have buyers remorse all the time a month or two later and they still debit your account. You can provide tracking that shows a product has arrived but it doesn't matter. They still will debit your account. For all the work and costs to source and ship products so Jane can make 50 grand and you can make a couple grand it's so not worth it. Then add the unprofessional college kids you have to deal with and you will go insane. I will never give jane my business again nor would I EVER buy from them. It amazes me how stupid people are. I can guarantee every product is CHEAPER elsewhere, Amazon especially. They are a lot like Costco in that people think paying them to come in the door then paying higher prices is acceptable. People don't realize that 90% of their stuff is cheap china junk. They have done a good job in tricking the masses on that. But sheep will be sheep I guess
I've purchased many items on Jane. The deals can be a real bargain and too enticing to pass up. Some have been quite original, where I receive many compliments, others have been horrible quality. I've had to go to the actual post office a few times to pick up items that owe postage. One seller debated this (with me although I sent a actual slip of the postage due), another sent me money via PayPal immediately. But the worst was a seller who sent me condescending emails where he lied about sending an item and was a downright bully. He finally sent the item but tried to make me pay for postage (the item is sitting at my local po right now). I sent Jane a copy of the emails the same day I got them, where they agreed he was really out of line and had already refunded me before this fool tried to make me pay for the shipping. But he's back to being a seller, and that's a downright outrage. I'll never purchase from them again. It shows me they could care less about their customers. This was the worst experience I have or ever will have from an online purchase.
This site is terrible. I have ordered 3 items and never got them. 1 item they said they shipped even gave a tracking number but then a day later emailed me saying that they returned the item.
Don't try being a seller with this company all they do is lie. Tell you, you can sale with them then keeps turning your deals down. They only favor certain sellers.
I placed a order on 7-18-20, they took my money, no ship date, no tracking number? I have emailed them 3 times requesting information on my item? It is now 8-1-20! No response, no package? This company is a JOKE! I will never order another product from this company. SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE. I RATE THIS COMPANY negative-- 10
Not happy at all with my purchase at this shop!
Damaged clothes, send e-mail like stated in their policy (Photos.), but after weeks still no respons. WAIST OF 85€ (also long waiting time for arrivel)
Products used:
Jumpsuit
I have been emailing them for 2 weeks about a purchase I made at the end of June and they are telling me to wait another 10 days and I spent 37.00! Very frustrating. (Today is July 27th)
Hi there,
If you've purchased from Jane.com, feel free to contact support@jane.com and our customer service team would be happy to help.
I've tried applying 3 times only to be rejected. The first couple times was because they were too similar and the third time was because my items were not what they were looking for. I manufacture my own girl's and women's maxi skirts and I wanted to stand out from the crowd and sell unique items on there. I was rejected. I couldn't understand why? I mean I make all my stuff here in the USA, I have girl's and women's maxi skirts that are unique to my company, I use good quality fabric and not that cheap Rayon/Spandex crap, and my prices are reasonable. Looking through the bad reviews I can get an idea as to why I'd be rejected.
The company "Jane.com" is probably just a front to their vendors but in reality favors certain ones, possibly their own with different store names, and up-sells everyone else. They probably steal ideas from other sellers who import their items from alibaba or aliexpress and bump their own companies. So seeing mine, how it's not possible to replicate unless you actually manufacture it yourself or purchase directly from me (as I'm one of the few comps that manufactures Girl's maxi skirts), then there's no way to up sell me.
It's ok though. I went to Amazon and signed up for Prime and doing pretty well. I'm looking to expand and maybe sell on other platforms like Zulily and my website. I rather stand apart from the crowd than be another generic brand that looks all the same to the others with cheap quality clothing.
I'll never shop at Jane again either.
I ordered 2 large leopard wearths with the sign saying BLESSED... what I RECEIVED is 4 small wearths that are so UGLY and crappy looking that I will never order from them again. Can not return them unless I pay shipping!
Tip for consumers:
That these people are in the business to rip people off ..DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM !
Products used:
None this wearths are crappy and cheap looking and I pd $120.00 to be ripped off by these jerks
As a vendor for Jane, it's hard to write a negative review due to the fact that they already play favorites. If we give them negative feedback it's not going to help our personal business at all. I've been working with them for several years now, so I'm not a novice by any means. I've been REPEATEDLY disappointing with the way they approach business. They claim, that the rank of the deal is based on a algorithm. That's a bunch of bull. If you notice, all the higher (bigger revenue for them) priced item are always first. There is never a item featured the has a low price point. Never. They will also put your deal on hold, during your 3 day run and take HOURS to get you back up and running. As a seller this is critical! I've been "bumped" so many times I can't even count. When you purchase over 100 pieces of inventory, getting "bumped" is no little thing. Also, if you sell something and it does really well, I've noticed that when I go to resubmit that same deal I get DECLINED only to see another vendor... from Lehi (which is where they are located. Coincidence... I think not) run it back to back, all the while all the rest of us get declined or bumped until sales have dwindled.
I ordered 3 pairs of shoes and they were all HORRIBLE! They literally felt like
Cardboard and looked like they were super glued together! I am a solid size 9 and the size 9 duck boots were closer to a 7-8. I couldn't even get my foot into them. So I had to return all three. I was so upset that I had to PAY to ship them back because the quality was so terrible. Yes I know their return policy states that it's the buyers responsibility to pay for return shipping on items that are damaged or defective. I believe quality like that SHOULD be considered defective. The shoes were CARDBOARD covered in a thin layer of fabric and then super glued together. I have spent quite a bit of money on their site and to be treated this way was is terrible. I have already emailed the sellers numerous times, provided them with my return tracking information. I have made attempts to contact the sellers with little to no communication back! This is not acceptable! The one seller did credit my card back some of my money but kept an additional $2.99. I paid to have the item shipped to me to begin with, then paid for return shipping because the product was crap, and THEN they had the audacity to keep another $2.99 for "shipping"? I ended up paying $22.99 just to ship a pair of shoes back that only cost $34.99 to begin with. Awful customer service. Never buy anything from them! Oh and Jane.com clearly supports this type of behavior from their sellers because they just keep emailed me back their return policy. What a joke! Avoid no matter how cute the items look. It's pure garbage!
Hi Melissa, I am sorry to hear about your experience at Jane. For any items damaged or incorrect you will receive a full refund. We ask that images of the items you received be sent to support@jane.com. If your items were not incorrect you would receive a refund for the item only, shipping is not refundable.
Garment was cut and sewn at major seams only. All edges raw and unfinished. Tie at back instead of front on pants. Ordered 2x got a size 8. Instead of the garment my mothers ordered she got a halfway sewn piece of trash. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. WORSE THAN THE CHINESE CRAP.
So I was told about this website and I wanted to try it out! So I ordered a Christmas present for my sister in law only for the check out to say my card declined and then charged my bank THREE TIMES! No one in customer service will return my emails, and so looks like I'm out of 150...
Jane is selling things from "Fancy Frills Boutique" out of Utah. Via social media I came across emails the owner of Fancy Frills was sending to a customer. The emails I read were CRAZY RUDE and CRAZY UNPROFESSIONAL. I wouldn't shop at Jane just because they are selling and promoting clothes from a boutique that has no service customer skills.
I will for sure be spreading the word around about Fancy Frills, and Jane.com will be connected to all my conversations.
Avoid seller Diva Stuff. The products are cheap crap made in someone's basement and the seller is using someone else's photo because she herself is old, fat, and homely as hell.
I ordered three state/country prints. Did not expect the quality to be so good since they were so low priced. They were printed on heavy linen like paper. Very, very happy.
Thanks, Judy! We are so happy to hear you liked your state and country prints.
I received a sweater I ordered that had a snag in the fabric. I contacted Jane customer service via their chat which says I will have a 40 minute wait or they will email me within 24-48 hours. I waited 48 hours with no response. I reached out again and was told where to return item. I asked if I had to pay for shipping since this was a defective item and was told if I sent picture of the postage amount I would be reimbursed - all of the above steps took over a week. You feel some urgency since you are only given 14 days to return. I sent item back to seller and then went on Jane's site to record the tracking number as told. The sire wouldn't accept the tracking number. I sent an email to customer support with postage and tracking info asking for help. I sent an email for 3 consecutive days with no response. I then went on their chat and waited (30 minutes) to speak to a rep. In the end the $15.75 I spent to ship back a defective item would be given as a Jane credit! I will NEVER order from this company again - too much of my valuable time spent returning a def3 give item and now I'm stuck with a credit instead of cash - NEVER AGAIN
Ordered October, they took my money from my bank acciunt, now say they are shipping from China on 11. 20. 15. That; s illegal, You don; t pay until an item ships to you.
When I first discovered Jane.com, I was pretty excited. The items looked great and the prices seemed right. Jane also makes a promise that if you don't love what you get, they will replace it or make it right. What they do not say is if you don't like what you get, you will not be refunded shipping costs and you must pay the return shipping. You are better off looking at the items on Jane and then, trying to find something similar on Amazon. By the time you factor in shipping costs, you aren't really saving any money at all. You can find most items, or a similar item, on Amazon for a better price and with free shipping and returns.
As far as the items themselves, the quality is sub par and that is being kind.
Customer service doesn't really help you. Sometimes vendors don't return your email when you have a problem so if you buy something, you had better hope you like it because getting anywhere with returns is an exercise in frustration.
I would absolutely not recommend this site. Most of the items I bought were seriously disappointing and my experiences with customer service went nowhere.
My wife ordered some pregnancy leggings online. I said do it. Now it's been almost 4 weeks and still no show of leggings. First and last time I have my wife shop here!
I just recently found Jane.com and was excited about such cute things they offer. I've ordered leggings, a swim overwrap, a pair of shoes and a necklace and I'M NEVER ORDERING from there again! First, the leggings were WAY too small... it's like they pawned off girls leggings as women's... like I'm actually 98% convinced they did. The swim overwrap... looks nothing like the pictures, cheap and made in China generic tag on it like they sold it from some crappy over stock from China... the version in their photos... SO cute! The real thing... total grandma action. The shoes I got were the cheapest crap I've seen in awhile... I contacted the vendor for a return, and they didn't even want them back either! Told me to keep them and they'd return my money minus shipping. The necklace... ok, but cheap crap again. Had shipping been faster, I would not have continued buying after the first crap show of junky product with high shipping fees. This site is a sin against women in search of trendy clothes for a decent price. Walmart sells higher quality clothes. I'm so upset about it I had to search for reviews of the site and vent, oof, angry.
I ordered a shirt off their app (two of the same shirt, different sizes, had a hard time guessing what my size would be). They come-- a week after the estimated shipping time-- and neither of them fit- but more to the point they fit the exact same. I'm pretty sure they were the same size. Frustrated, sure, but it's whatever. I'll just return it. Well, turns out you have to email Jane directly to organize returns. Takes them 2 days to get back to me. Another 2 days go by before they get me in contact with the seller, who has a list as long as Santa's with correct return procedure, then informs me that unless the shirts get to their site within 14 days of me originally getting them there won't be a refund. So 4 days were wasted even being able to get into contact, and then with COVID, the shipment got there a day after the 14 days. No refund. Absolutely livid. In this day in age with online shopping, no one can survive with this level of horrible customer service. Oh-- and I had to pay to return items I didn't even get a refund for. Pathetic.

Same items I get local boutiques for at least have the price. Same brands, same quality just much lower prices. I have never had issues with shipping or delays.
I ordered two sweatshirts for my granddaughter and received one I ordered and a couple days later I got a totally different shirt than the other one I ordered, I've emailed them, messaged them and even went to their help center and I get no answer so i have no way of knowing where the shirt I actually ordered is because they refuse to answer me so I won't ever shop there again
