I have placed 4 orders with the jar store and so far all shipments have arrived quickly and in one piece. I was a little concerned after reading the negative reviews but once the first order went smoothly I continued ordering from them. The shipping rates are reasonable as well, I can find the same vessels on candle supply websites, they maybe a little cheaper but once you add in shipping TJS so far has had the best prices.

Tried to save money by purchasing from an online warehouse store. Made a mistake in choosing The Jar Store. The pop down menu "choose your lid" malfunctioned and $250 worth of jars were shipped without lids after paying an additional $250 for shipping. Explaining this to customer service to no avail. Must now purchase lids separately Or pay shipping again to return the item. Save yourself some money and buy jars from your local box store.

Six jar came broken. I contacted them and they said they would send replacements. When I didn't receive them I contacted them again. I was told they were delivered and gave me a tracking number. The tracking number was for I order I made. I contacted them again and was giving the same number again. Told them again there were no extra jars with that order. I still have not got my jars and now they don't reply to my emails. I've been buying jars from them for a few years now and never had a broken jar. Since they won't correct the problem, I will no longer buy jars from them.

Glass is poorly fused, not round, has clear imperfections. This isnt the issue I am reviewing. You will have to pay return or exchange shipping cost which are more than the items are worth. They make you call and write multiple emails in which they try to dissuade you from making the return. I lost over $100 for something I didnt get just to return their product and ensure they were not profiting from this.

Dont buy from here.

I wrote a review on their Libbey Wynwood Candle Jar stating that they were of poor quality and they never published it. I did not say anything disparaging, just an honest review.

Tip for consumers:
They allowed me to return the product, but it being glass (heavy), the cost to do so exceeded the refund amount.

I ordered right before the Christmas holiday (12/22/18) so I expected a delay; however, I also ordered from three other companies on the same day and received all of my other packages today (12/28/18). I am a stickler for fast shipping, so shipping times are make or break for me when placing orders and although jarstore's website advised that they would be closed for the holidays, I was not expecting this long of a delay just for my order to be shipped. The website also stated that all orders would be processed within 48-72 hours during holiday season instead of 24-48 hours which I was fine with because it is the holidays and I am no grinch... what triggered me to write this review is that although they said that my order would be shipped out within 72 hours, here I am today, attempting to contact their store to get a status update and reached their voicemail that states that they are closed today as well, which is definitely something worth mentioning on their website. So I placed my order on 12/22/18 with a promise to have it shipped out within 72 business hours which won't be honored because they are closed today, Saturday, Sunday, and I'm pretty sure they may be closed for the new year holiday as well so that is a total of ten days (including holidays) that I've waited for my order to even be processed. The shipping cost is already through the roof, so I expected to have my order sooner rather than later. I am not satisfied with this ordering process at all.

Although they have a tremendous selection on their website and at cheaper prices than most - the old saying was proven to be true. I've purchased the flat metal lids from (3) three different suppliers and all three have been the same exact lid with the same or near same fitment to fit a 10 or 12 oz straight sided Container as well as the 8 and 16 oz Apothecary Containers (all of which are about a 3" diameter). All three have very high shipment costs - so I figured I would save a ton in the long run on these costs. NOT TRUE. These lids came and although they are depicted in the picture and listed as a Large Metal Flat Lid - the fitment is much smaller (nearly doesn't exist) so this lid is needed for a Container with a diameter of about 3-1/4 to 3-3/8. I searched the internet for a return policy and noticed that you cannot return anything without an approval code and if you do the restocking fee is higher - yes, there is a 15% restocking fee to return something. I assume they must get a tremendous amount of returns as this is the only supplier I've personally come across that charges you to return something rather than do a simple exchange. Yes, I called - and I was told they do not do exchanges. You return it, they restock it and charge you the 15% - then you re-oder if you would like. I ordered 24 of these lids and it's cheaper to keep them as opposed to paying for shipping to return them and then losing 15% for the return / re-stocking fee. If you already have a reliable supplier - stick with them, pay the couple extra dollars and know you are getting the correct product. I've been in business for (8) eight years now and have never experienced such a thing.

try and obtain a sample prior to ordering.
