I bought this $450 Honeywell HL10CESWW portable AC from Walmart less than 3 years ago. It stopped cooling at all and I sent an inquiry on the company's website. No response. Then I called, and was told it could be replaced and I needed to send the product and purchase information. I sent right away, no response for 14 days with my multiple follow-ups via emails and phone calls. Eventually I was told it won't be replaced because the unit is out of warranty. But the manual said warranty could be 5 years and I only bought it 3 years ago! I asked the company, again no reply. I felt that their representative never responded if I didn't chase them multiple times. And why did the process take so long during the hottest time of the year when I need the AC the most?
