Johnson Strings has become my go-to for violin supplies. Their string inventory is comprehensive, well organized and easy to navigate on their website. Service is prompt, and products from high quality manufacturers such as Bois D'Harmonie are almost always in stock.
Thank you for sending me somebody's returned item. The box was filled with foreign newspapers and other persons's UPS shipping slips. Item itself was in good condition but not a good shopping experience.

Shipping time was average. Products are okay. I bought what I thought was a SOLID mahogany metronome and it was cheap and had plastic pieces for such a high price - but I blame the manufacturer and today's disposable society; not the retailer. (Most parts of the metronome were VERY THINLY MADE MAHOGANY and of inferior grade mahogany). I ordered several items and they were all shipped together.
They have real live USA customer service operators and are very easy to reach if you have any problems.

Appreciate the receiving 1/2 of shipping cost (I am now paying $15 instead of $30) but still feels costly since the violin is damaged at no fault of my own.
