Nathan single handedly helped me through getting my camera gear after their security denied my payment for basically no reason "email not used with a vendor". My email is linked to my bank and has been used for every vendor purchase I've basically made to the card including Amazon and more. Well my payment got denied so I had to wait 2-5 days for a refund to make the purchase with PayPal and Nathan helped me to hold the purchase cart and change the order while not having to remake it so I can get my stuff. Got my package in 3 days after the PayPal went through. Thanks a ton!
User's manual (that came with the camera) was severely mangled due to size of shipping box being too small. The item (rated Ex) was crammed into the box, resulting in folds/creases. It required my time and effort to make it presentable/usable.

First time purchasing from KEH and first time purchasing used. I certainly had my reservations and fears of issues with the order, but I couldn't be happier. My camera, lens, bag, and extra battery all arrived within my selected two-day shipping window. All items were well-packaged and protected from potential damage and package mishandling, the lens has no visible defects of any kind for a lightly used item, the camera body only has cosmetic scratches below the dials, which is more of a patina than a defect. The screen is completely free of scratches, splotches, cracks, etc. I could not be happier with my purchase and my fears of used equipment have been quelled.

I'd back this up to zero stars if I could. I don't know what takes so long to process a return. Even with RMA and within return window, it takes 1 week ground shipping and at least another week for them to open the box and see what arrived? They certainly take their good 'ole time getting your money back to you. After several days, KEH found no issue with one of the lenses, and the other had significant focus issues. So of course they are keeping $10 shipping and have initiated a refund procedure, how long does that take. Although the purchase went fine, returning is another matter altogether, I'm not happy with KEH and how this all played out. I will not be purchasing anything else from them and advise you to think twice before you do as well, they apparently don't like to refund even when there are factors indicating the product is bad.
Tip for consumers:
The purchase process went smoothly. Their return process is problematic and takes far too long. They have the equipment and my money, for up to 2 weeks? I guess they don't trust their customers. Well, next time I need to buy something, I no longer trust KEH.
Products used:
Purchased 2 Sigma camera lenses for Nikon, trouble is they will not properly focus and the photos they produce are not in focus, on both lenses. Many other Nikon lenses do focus so it's not the camera.
Product arrived quickly and in perfect working condition. No complaints. Will definitely order from them again.
I was surprised at the deals on camera gear and when it was received it was better than expected. The camera body is perfect, just signs of regular use. The only problem is that the given 3rd party battery really isn't good. I didn't get long with my camera and it was dead when I absolutely needed it. The lenses are beyond perfect even the ugly lens which cost about $6 was perfect. I took it to a professional photographer and he cleaned off the surface fungus and it's in like new condition now. Will be back for more! Shipping was fast, but FedEx was not proficient.
I purchased a used (excellent condition) replacement lens for the Nikon D80 DSLR I had given to my grandson from KEH. I found KEH's website very easy to use, the selection was great, their quality rating of the lens was spot on (no pun intended), their price was great, service was great and the lens was delivered on the date and time promised which allowed my grandson to get used the his new lens before our trip to the BWCAW. Generally good. I did have some early fears as I didn't have an instructions and the camera warned me it was overheating as I tried to set the preferences. I apparently had the screen on too long. I shut it off to cool and recharged the battery and everything seems OK. I down loaded the manual from Fuji's web site and I have since ordered the original manual from you. It should arrive today.
