Was looking to find a replacement for a broken latch mechanism on an existing keypad lock, and this part fit perfectly. Shipped quickly, but stalled by USPS for multiple days bouncing around from Post Office to Post Office before delivery, which is not the fault of the shipper.
I just purchased a 285P lock. The website nor video's talk about installation. It does provide the dimensions of the lock but doesn't point it out that if the lock opening is larger than the width of the lock, you'll need to purchase the metal trim plate. I found this out after I received the lock and read the installation instructions. It was clearly stated if the hole size is greater then X, you'll need to purchase the trim plate.
If this was on the website, I would have pulled the original lock off the door to examine the hole diameter to confirm if I required the additional trim plate before purchasing the product. I now have to purchase the trim plate and pay shipping because the website's missing information.
I was able to find difficult to find parts, as I was repairing an old (2005) motorhome that had used Essex as original equipment. I was able to get keypad and fobs/receiver computer, and make the keypad work, but not the fobs as the original did. I', sure that is my fault and not the stores. But I am very pleased with the results.
I called to tell KeylessLockStore that I did not receive all of my order. The packaging was damaged and obvious that the screw kit fell out of the pack. I was told KeylessLockStore has a video showing they packed the goods and that if I wanted them again, I needed to buy them again. I cannot file a claim with USPS, only the shipper, so I am out. The missing item makes the items that came useless as well.
Love the lock assy. Ordered thin door m5 kit. Problem is, my m5 kit threads are like 10ga and the lock threads are like 8ga. So, being mechanical, I had to cut down the factory 8ga bolts and all worked great. Did not get to use the 10ga m5 bolts. Other than losing $6.00 + on the thin door kit, the rest was great. I also think they should have an intermediate size striker bar thats sized between the standard short and long bars that came in the kit. Hope this helps.
You have been informing me by emails of the progress of shipping the product I ordered. Especially international orders, customers would worry whether their orders are successfuly accepted or not, when their orders are processed, and when the products they ordered arraive at their shipping addresses.

We looked for specific individual parts but these are not available as the manufacturer's franchisee does not stock them. The "Manufacturer's Manufacturer's "Lifetime Warranty" is without real meaning - the manufacturer is in Asia and there is a North American franchise/distributor. We experienced hardware problems and our endeavours to invoke the warranty induced denials by the North American supplier. Replacement parts were shipped by UPS's top service on Thursday, package arrived at crack of dawn Friday. UPS Canada intimated delivery by 16:00 Friday. No delivery. UPS assured delivery by 10:00 Monday. Package delivered Monday afternoon. UPS USA excuses late delivery on COVID-19 but actual delays resultant of confused operations by UPS Canada. Ontario has counter COVID-19 plans in place and delivery systems are running much as usual.

I emailed the company first to make sure what I was about to purchase would work for what I needed. Prompt and helpful reply.
Lock showed up right away (THANK YOU) and it was easy to assemble and it works great!
The lock is very well constructed and durable. But the issue is with the code sequence. If I set the code to X1234 then any combination of those numbers work. Ex: 3241X, 4231X, 3X241, etc... This is not a good thing. It takes the number of possible code combinations and makes it easier to find. I will be taking this lock down and buying another one that actually works right.

While it is true that Lockey mechanical locks allow the numbers to be pressed in any sequence, most people find that the total number of possible combinations is quite acceptable once they see how many there actually are.

If you still feel this is not enough for your application, we also carry many electrical locks where the code sequence is mandatory.
