I can't recommend this company more highly... a top quality hosting service with quick and efficient support at an unbelievably low price.
I have a virtual hosting service with them and a number of dedicated IPs that I used for mass emailing to my 20,000-strong client base. They're quite strict about spam and will follow up on any complaints, but so far they've resolved these quickly once I demonstrated my compliance with spamcop guidelines.
I also haven't noticed any degradation in access to my websites, despite the fact that it's a shared host. So I think they keep the load well-balanced.
I pay KnownHost over $900 a month for two dedicated servers, one of which houses my major websites. This server recently suffered a critical failure. Despite having regular backups, they were, for reasons unknown, corrupted. The only backup that could be used was from May of 2016 - nearly 6 months ago. I will have lost 6 months of content, site updates, and hard work. I have asked that because of their failure to provide an adequate fix to this issue, I be reimbursed for the 6 months of hosting charges that I paid for, of which all my work has been lost. They have refused to refund anything. This is unacceptable.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid if you aren't somebody who backs up their massive website files every day to your own computer (yeah, who does that?).
Get the virtual private server with option of managed and unmanaged access to cPanel or PLesk or DA. Get full root access. You can have all this at such affordable rates and with premium bandwidth. This you can get from the knownhost.com that offers amazing packages and deals so having a website can be very affordable.
They have been great at providing support when I need it. Quick responses ontop of fast servers. I can't believe it took me this long to find them.

Hello,
We do apologize for the issues experienced by this customer. This customer had a dedicated server with us, with it's own internal hard-drive for him to keep backups on. Per our terms of service we require all customers to keep a backup copy of their website for cases of catastrophic failure external of their systems. Due to the fact that the customer allowed the backup drive to be filled, no new backups were created which caused this issue. We are terribly sorry but no refund is warranted in this situation as we cannot control the size of the customers backup. Each dedicated server is deployed and configured so that it will alert the customer by email in regards to any issues on their server, including if the backups have failed or the backup drive is full.
