This year shopping for children's back to school clothes I visited many stores. Most were not stocked and the variety was very limited but Kohl's was great. So many brands to choose from and very neatly displayed. The customer service reps were friendly and returns were easy when need be. Their online selection is even better than in store and the shipping is prompt and arrives quickly. The quality of the brands they carry are also top notch and wash well. I would recommend shopping at Kohl's.
This business drives me crazy. I cannot ever be sure I am getting the best price. I will place an order online. The next day the item will be on sale. Place that order, then a few days later, the discounts change and yet an even lower price is available. What kind of business want's customers placing multiple orders only to return them all because prices have changed? I have one last return of a group of items that had me go through 4 orders to get the best price. I make sure that I consolidate so I only have to go to the store once for returns, but then the poor clerk has to spend 20 minutes with me sorting through multiple orders for the returns. I am done! I will shop elsewhere. Kohl's, lower your prices overall and keep them standard and YOU will save money! What an insane business model that cause extra work for everyone, and drives your customers away.
When given the option to leave a review on an item that I had purchased on Kohls.com, I was unable to submit my review due to the amount of stars I'd given. I found the item to merit a 1 star, very poor quality in material. When it arrived it was not in the same likeness, quality or design execution, of that which is listed on the website.
Sensing the derrogatory criticism ( by listing the 1 star) the system would not allow me to submit. As I would later discover, kohl's has very few items with reviews ( recent and/or past). Please do better, gross mis-representation isn't a good look
Purchased online items. Order sent to incorrect address. Advised Rep by phone and they stated they would correct immediately before box 2,3, and 4 shipped. Called the next day and still not resolved. Box 2 mailed to wrong address. Called and emailed again and advised it would be corrected. Box 3 mailed to incorrect address. Called and emailed again. They advised me to drive 320 miles to the incorrect address and pickup boxes 1-3. They mailed 4th box to incorrect address. Numerous calls to a foreign country where not one representative was helpful. Never received merchandise and never received refund. However, they were sorry about my problem and offered me a 15% discount on a new order. No Thank You. Will never shop at Kohls again!
I was very disappointed when i went to Kohls recently. I went to grab a shopping cart for my friend who is handicapped. And your shopping cart distinctly says do not use as walking device which translates to we're putting this on here so you can't sue us. I think it's ridiculous that Kohls isn't handicap friendly. And we're not going to shop there again.
Someone bought me a gift pair of jeans. Really disliked them so I headed back to Kohls with gift receipt. Kohls had a different special the time I went back. Kohls had no pricing identified on the jeans. They have electronic displays with buy one get one one half off with no price tags on anything. When I went to purachase I was surprised I had to pay another 30 dollars above the exchange amount. I complained about the lack of clear pricing anywhere in the Jean section. Got typical minimal wage store attendant responses. Another electronic advancement designed to shaft the customer. Keep telling folks to not buy me clothing for gifts for all of these reasons. Also will not be buying at Kohls again. No clear pricing is an as automatic walk away for me but I was locked in with a gift receipt.
I ordered from Kohls.com and paid for 2 day shipping. I paid more for shipping than what the total cost of my order was, but I needed what i ordered, right away... did I get it in 2 days? NOPE! I got it 3 days later and this was during the weekdays, not a weekend... and was still charged for 2 day shipping. Wont ever order from this site again... I gave it 1 star because giving it no stars wasnt an option. I tried to resolve this issue with Kohls.com, wasnt rude to them in any way and my complaint was completely dismissed without any contact from them in regards to my complaint whatsoever. They got their money... why should they care? Wont get anymore outta me..
When the internet has multiple sites to help you discover how to make a payment on your Kohls account you know something is wrong. They will gladly charge dummies $10.00 to pay by phone if you are unable to log in to your account.
My part of my order is lost and now the items are not available. They totally ruin my family picture. I tried to get the kohls cash and money I spend back and is a disaster. This is the second online orden I having issues with. I'm not going to trust them again. Don't buy online.
They always have great deals and I love their products. All of the interactions I have had with their customer service has been great. I being a part of their rewards program, they offer a lot of great perks for being a customer.
Kohls 30 minute policy is CRAZY! After you place an order you have 30 minutes to make any changes. If you don't make them within 30 minutes they will send your items to the wrong address and tell you too bad. They don't have any solution to correct the issue after 30 minutes. I have ordered from Kohl's many times but this one time (5 pairs of shoes) my order was accidently sent to a 11 year old address. Even though I got to part of the order before the delivery, they said "Sorry Sir, it has to be done within 30 minutes". They said I now have to pay for something that I NEVER GOT! No way to fix it.
Last February i just bought 1 pair of white sneakers and the results was really nice. I received the item after 1 week and there's no hassle or any dramas. Their product quality is really good also. Kohls have great deals that make up for the overpriced items. I am hooked on the Kohls cash I can use this on sale items too. I bought my husband some shorts that were 35.00 marked down to 8.80 used my $10 Kohls cash, zero dollars out of pockets.
I was very disappointed with Kohl's cash. I ordered something online and Kohl's gave me 50.00 in Kohl's cash. I spent the 50.00 Kohl's cash. When my order came, I had to return it. I got all of my money back except 50.00. I was satisfied with that. When I received my bill Kohl's also added 50.00 for the merchandise that I had bought with the Kohl's cash. In other words, Kohl's collected 100.00 for the Kohl's cash. I talked to a representative of Kohl's and he said that he would email me 30.00 Kohl's cash. I've yet to receive that email. I will not be shopping at Kohl's again unless I get my 50.00 back.
I placed an order for multiple items on 12/1/15. When I had not received several of the items by 12/23/15, I contacted customer service and was informed that the items were damaged during shipment and were being returned to the warehouse and I would receive a full credit on my kohl's charge. When I received my next statement, the credit was not there. I had to make several additional phone calls and in the end was issued store credit for my "return." Really? You screw up packaging and make me jump through hoops to get my money back for something I never received and then you add insult to injury by issuing me store credit? Never will I ever order from kohls.com again.
Ordered something online and then had to cancel it within 10 min. Of ordering and they won't let me cancel it, they say it is already in transit and need to send it back after I get it. At my cost or take it to a Kohls near me 30 min. Away! They say there is no hassle cancelling or refunds, but that is a lie! Not to mention I could not speak to a USA rep or manager there are none available! I tried to cancel within 10 min. Of ordering and it was to late it was already in transit? Shame on you Kohls for poor customer service but also for selling out to over sea's company's when we buy the stuff here in the good ole USA! What happened to keeping our money in our country? Is it to much to ask to keep our money where we spend it?
I have just encountered the worst customer service from the Khol's customer service call center. They double charged 2 banks accounts paying the entire balance on my account twice. Then when I requested a refund from the account they fraudulently took the 2nd payment from, I was told it would take up to 4 weeks to receive a refund. After speaking with the supervisor, Carlos, he told me there was no supervisor above him to approve an expedited refund, due to Khol's mistake, and repeatedly told me that he could not help me any further.
I set up a payment for the entire amount on my kohls account. Well I ended up not being able to pay it all. So I set up a smaller amount. Well today they decided to over draft my account by taking out the old amount I told them. This is the second time this has happened. I will never shop here again. And I closed my account. Horrible customer service. They need to hire better people.
In my opinion lately they have come down a bit in quality, still good. Their prices are really good, and it also there are some differences according to the neighborhood, generally speaking they have the same things, but in certain neighborhoods you can find some different things. Good policies. Good returns
Online customer service is terrible. Overseas I was hung up on for telling them they sent the wrong items. When I called back I was told I would have to wait 3 more days before they were able to help me. When the 3 days passed I called again to be informed they were unable to reshoot my items. They did not give a full refund.
Tip for consumers:
Go to the store at least you won’t have to deal with customers service overseas.

Went to Kohls today to purchase some Christmas presents. I was told my Kohl's Credit card had expired. I spent nearly 20 minutes while the clerk did an inquiry on me for credit application. I was then told I would not get the discounts so walked out and threw away my old credit card along with some more paperwork to fill out to reapply for credit. It seems I need the lousy credit card to get the discounts. Also for some odd reason my credit score went down 7 points because I was asking for a credit card! A card I had but was expired. The guy with cash finishes last. Kohl s is high priced to begin with so without the discount they are worthless to me. I will be doing my shopping at Wall Mart this year. A very disappointed customer at the Shakopee Minnesota location.

I have been a Kohl's customer for many years and never had a late payment. I had to go out of town to work in October, and instead of going online and paying my bill I just mailed it in. It apparently never made it to Kohl's. When I got home I found a bill for the late payment on it. I panicked and called them immediately and they told me there was no problem that they were not going to report it to the credit bureau. I paid it been in there and was told everything was fine. I checked my credit the other day and my credit score dropped 100 points. I had to go into the credit agency and find out why. They did report me after saying they hadn't. I've been a good customer I've always been reliable and I am not responsible for a lost check. I did everything I could to fix the problem as soon as I got home. I think they could've had a little more patience the payment was only two weeks late. I will not shop with them ever again unless they reverse this ding on my credit.
I called and placed an order 3 time with Kohl's. I had to call in because I have not yet received my Kohl's card yet.
The first time I never received and email telling me the order was cancelled, I called in to check on the status after it was suppose to have reached my sister 1 week later (this was a gift for her new house), they then tell me the order was canceled because incorrect billing information which was supposedly updated when I called and placed the order.
So I then placed the order again and within a few hours get another cancellation email, yet again the representative did not update my information correctly.
So I again placed the order and now it was canceled due to it being out of stock, which i did not receive this email until almost a week after i placed the order.
This is just horrible customer service, now my sister is not getting what she wanted as a congrats on her first home because of the incompetence of not 1 but 2 representatives
I am constantly getting mailers from kohls with 30% off coupons and $10 off purchases over $50. Only problem is that whenever I go to the store everything that I'm trying to buy is always excluded. I stopped using Macy's because I got tired of having to do a fine print check of each coupon they sent and now I am done with Kohl's for the exact same reason. I have an extra $10 Kohl's cash which I will go on Friday to my local Kohl's and hand to a customer going in so they can get I will not spend one more penny at Kohl's
I used Kohl's cash just prior to expiration. Some of my items were listed as "in stock" but a few days later I received an email stating that they were not. My Kohl's cash was now expired, and they didn't want to honor it. I had to make multiple phone calls to get them to honor it, which I shouldn't have had to do. Their problem to change the item status after the fact.
This is the last time I pay my bill early & in full only to get a bill with late fees. My 63.80 bill paid on time with card on file gets rejected and late fees attached. Humm funny how I used it to pay the amount owed again today online after trying to pay 3 people by phone. They wanted to charge me $4.50 to pay by phone. So I did pay what I owed. Sue me for the late fees, ruin my credit if you want. I don't care. I locked all credit score accounts years. Ago. Kohls truly sucks and I don't use that word lightly!

Truly Kohls is not worth it, only a matter of time before you will have an issue. Fixing it takes more than 3 people and several different countries. Still not fixed.
