This year shopping for children's back to school clothes I visited many stores. Most were not stocked and the variety was very limited but Kohl's was great. So many brands to choose from and very neatly displayed. The customer service reps were friendly and returns were easy when need be. Their online selection is even better than in store and the shipping is prompt and arrives quickly. The quality of the brands they carry are also top notch and wash well. I would recommend shopping at Kohl's.
This business drives me crazy. I cannot ever be sure I am getting the best price. I will place an order online. The next day the item will be on sale. Place that order, then a few days later, the discounts change and yet an even lower price is available. What kind of business want's customers placing multiple orders only to return them all because prices have changed? I have one last return of a group of items that had me go through 4 orders to get the best price. I make sure that I consolidate so I only have to go to the store once for returns, but then the poor clerk has to spend 20 minutes with me sorting through multiple orders for the returns. I am done! I will shop elsewhere. Kohl's, lower your prices overall and keep them standard and YOU will save money! What an insane business model that cause extra work for everyone, and drives your customers away.
They have an assortment of things for kitchen, living, and even a good selection of shoes and clothes. They always have deals going on, and the stores are usually pretty clean and well stocked.
Kohl's is a great value if you use all the coupons and discounts you can. You can really score a value in this way. I wish their household goods and furniture had more variety.

In three months after Kohls sending the bill to the wrong address, Kohls forced my credit rating to drop MORE than 120 POINTS and gouged me with a fee of over 330%. THREE HUNDRED THIRTY PERCENT? Can you believe that? In just three months. Kohls says its all legal. Do you really want to do business with a company like that?
Kohls says that they appreciate the opportunity to assist you. I would like very much for this bully of a company to repair my credit and refund my over payment for using a Kohls credit card and for being a customer.
Kohls has just asked me for a PM and incident number from their brutal treatment of one of their customers. I have no idea what they are asking me for. I would like to point out again that my bill with Kohls is paid in full.
Kohls never gave me the courtesy of offering me any assistance or any PM or I# when kohls sent bills to a wrong address. Kohls it should have been obvious that a contact was needed in your company, but you offered none.

While I like the Kohls stores; the online shopping is terrible. I probably return 50% due to mistakes on their part.
The shipping department is as bad as it can get. The cardboard boxes are always falling apart and they use so little tape that they are usually partly open. I have had things stolen because the products are so easily accessible.
I BOUGHT A $375 BLENDER AND THEY SENT UP A BEAT-UP OPENED BOX WHICH LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN ON A CLEARANCE TABLE. WE COULDN'T EVEN PICK IT UP WITHOUT IT FALLING APART. THIS WAS INEXCUSABLE.
If you have a problem online and need to telephone--beware. They have changed my orders many times--changing quantities or eliminating items completely.
If you hate to return things--DO NOT USE KOHLS ONLINE. Thank goodness that they have such a great return policy.

Out of 10 bras I picked out Bali and Olga not one of them is available in my store, so I pay the shipping if they carry such bra in store not in my size they should ship like Bealls free from the store kiosk
I bought a Sketchers pair box-priced@ $75, on sale for $69 but within 6 mos of wear, the sole came unglued from the shoe. I did not have my receipt, however, the Kohl's receipts boast, "HASSLE-FREE RETURNS, ANYTIME, ANY REASON... "no receipt, no problem..." - "we can look up your purchase and give you a full refund, or even exchange."
I returned my defective shoe, was denied an even exchange with the statement, "this shoe is in back-stock and no longer offered..." thus, no even price exchange, only an in-store credit. In fact, I was offered less than 1% of the box-priced $75 - I was offered $6 in-store credit with the statement: "you are given the lowest sale price of the shoes when you return without a receipt and an even exchange is not possible." I asked Kohl's "when did you sell this shoe@ $6 and where?" Kohl's did not extend the courtesy of a reply. Kohl's previously said "our system" fixes the pricing for an in-store credit [$6]; mind boggling, as if some rogue computer or artificial intelligence in the "system" took over any common sense practiced by Kohl's - the policy is set by the person who programmed the "system" - which, cheats the customer of a refund and is contrary to a fair and open disclosure announced in the return policy - "hassle-free"? Only if you're will to get less than one percent 1% of what you paid.
Kohl's has had an opportunity to reply to me but has declined any reply or answers.

I love Kohls they have great pricing on most items! I would never think to order a car seat for my child thru them, but I did it. I ordered a gorgeous safety first car seat at around $80.00.
Kohls has some pretty good sale prices. When I don't have any product problems, Kohls.com is adequate. But Beware: the website customer service has been highly unreliable for me. I've talked to reps and mgrs in the Nicaragua call center and it also sounds like they've got an Indian call center. Some English language barriers, and sounds like reps will just read chapter/verse of rules. I've gotten conflicting info from reps, finally had to have their mgr give me the right info. Very confusing and frustrating because often it seems like they don't completely understand what I'm saying. I speak slowly and without an accent. No help. Kohls.com when I review a product prohibits you from saying ANYTHING negative about your cust svc experience with them. I was forced to finally put in my review simply that Kohls won't let me talk about my cust svc purchase/return experience, and only that I bought x product and then I returned it. Yes, the sun rose in the morning and then the sun set in the evening. About same value of their review if you had a problem experience. Long as you had no problem with purchase, then the use of the site is ok. Truly nothing exceptional.
We were recently involved in a real estate transaction where Kohls was one of the major tenants in our shopping center. Time was running out on our deal and we needed their real estate department to work pretty much "light speed" to get the Estoppel and SNDA returned to us so we proceed with the closing. Melissa Foester was the coordinator at Kohls that worked with us and she was OUTSTANDING. Our emails were returned promptly with updates, and she notified us as soon as when the documents would arrive. Thank you Melissa for the proper attention and urgency that you provided us. I can say that not all retailers work as well you did for us on these types of transactions and I wish you and the entire Kohls team all the best in 2017!

Prices are great, but ONLY if you wait for sales or when you can use Kohl's bucks, or whatever they are called. When not on sale, their merchandise is no bargain.
I went shopping for a Bali bra. I found one for $40. When i looked on Amazon. The same model of Bali bra was $14.99 and one day delivery. Don't trust Kohls.

Problem with Kohl's, they are expensive and you have to catch their sales to get any good deals. They do have some good sales but I much prefer Macy's, their deals are better in my opinion.

I ordered a pair of jeans online, but the shipment must have been lost. I have made three calls so far trying to get my full refund. The first person I spoke to said the order had not shipped yet, but I received an email saying it had been delivered. The second person issued a partial refund. The order total was $39.99. She issued a refund of $30.30. The third person I spoke with said the second person didn't refund the shipping, however, the shipping total was less than the balance owed. He offered me Kohls cash which I declined. Not falling for that one again! He said he would refund $8.99 for the shipping. I told him that was not the balance that I was owed. In short, he said the second person did not refund all of the taxes and he could not do anything about it. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but there was no one "available". Yeah, right. Now I either call back for a supervisor or report it to my credit card company. Oh, it has been several days, and the amount he said he would refunded still isn't showing on my card statement.

Do not order on line for pick up as you cannot cancel once you hit order. It is indicated you have 15 mins but that is a lie!!!!!

Two different orders from kohls, pajamas and underwear for shipment to my home. The underwear as received were a mile too large, where I returned them to the Kohl's processing center in Ohio. Credit was received for two out of three packages with no explanation. Calling the customer service number generated a case number where subsequently an additional refund was issued but the value has is less than the remaining amount, even less shipping. To be honest after talking to customer service I have the impressing no one has any idea what is going on.
The pajamas shipped per UPS from Exquisite Apparel but the package's return address showed Sears. Kohls.com sources from outside companies?! That said the pajamas as received had the buttons falling off or off on the top. After the experience above the pajamas were returned to a local Kohl's store where they refused to refund the shipping charge even after admitting that the pajamas were defective as delivered. After 30 min on the phone with customer service I was able to get the ~$7 shipping refunded, but this isn't how I want to spend my time.
My family will not order from Kohl's again. I have nothing bad to say about their retail stores, but the web site fulfillment, customer service related to the web site and the returns center, have to be the worst e-commerce organization I have conducted business with in ten years.
I have been a customer of Kohl's for over ten years.
A few months ago I was in the process of moving and I did not receive a bill from Kohl's but I had a receipt and I paid the amount on the receipt. I thought that because of my move my mail was not forwarded correctly.
It turns out that I inadvertently changed to receive my bills to email. I had paid the bill late (but did not know it).
So Kohl's charged me a late and sent it to an email that did not exist (I am sure it bounced back). So I was getting additional charges added on each month and had not shopped at Kohl's during this time.
Credit Karma sent me an alert that my credit score had dropped over 130 points. I check and Kohl's sent my account to the credit score people for none payment. And a few days later I received a letter from Kohl's that they were suspending my account until I paid.
So Kohl's had three ways of contacting me: an email that was no longer a supplier of emails
My phone number that has not changed in 15 years and a current address.
I have called customer service many times and they take no responsibility to get in contact with me.
I am canceling my credit card with them I will no longer shop at Kohl's and I will spread the word of
How they will not help a customer that has always paid on time until a mistake was made.
I did not try to take advantage of Kohl's and I am only able to speak with people in a foreign country who will
Send it to another department who then will send me a letter.
Do not believe this is customer service at all.
