This year shopping for children's back to school clothes I visited many stores. Most were not stocked and the variety was very limited but Kohl's was great. So many brands to choose from and very neatly displayed. The customer service reps were friendly and returns were easy when need be. Their online selection is even better than in store and the shipping is prompt and arrives quickly. The quality of the brands they carry are also top notch and wash well. I would recommend shopping at Kohl's.
This business drives me crazy. I cannot ever be sure I am getting the best price. I will place an order online. The next day the item will be on sale. Place that order, then a few days later, the discounts change and yet an even lower price is available. What kind of business want's customers placing multiple orders only to return them all because prices have changed? I have one last return of a group of items that had me go through 4 orders to get the best price. I make sure that I consolidate so I only have to go to the store once for returns, but then the poor clerk has to spend 20 minutes with me sorting through multiple orders for the returns. I am done! I will shop elsewhere. Kohl's, lower your prices overall and keep them standard and YOU will save money! What an insane business model that cause extra work for everyone, and drives your customers away.
I ordered two Christmas door wreaths from Kohls in early December and the promised delivery date was well before Christmas. When they didn't appear I tried to call and I was told there were over 400 callers ahead of me in line. I tried to contact them online and the same thing, I could not cancel or even talk to anyone. The wreaths appeared about two weeks after Christmas.

I am absolutely appalled at the fact that a human being such as myself being a white collared, upper class, without as a stitch of a criminal record can be accused, convicted and cited citations totaling $649 by a 20 something year old who is approximately the same age as my son, even after being searched by an officer of the law, who which in fact found nothing of what I had been accused of taking after helping an unsupervised toddler in the women's bathroom wash her hands and dry them. The fact that this employee can act in the manner as he did telling lie after lie even catching on video surveillance his lies disgust me. Again over myself helping and unsupervised child in the woman's bathroom. Appalled
Kohl's is doing it right: good prices, great sales. Promos for buying quantity (Kohl's Cash) & rewards for smaller purchases over time (yes to you rewards). Adequate, friendly staff in almost all locations (have been to multiple locations in several states).
First and last time I'll shop at kohls. Ordered a crock pot on sale and chose in store pick up. Misread the location as South Airport road instead of Southport in Indiana. Realized it 2 hours after placing the order and now not only can I not have it changed to ship to my house, I have to wait 16-30 days for a refund. Of course this being my first time shopping on their website I didn't know about the 15 minute order policy. Great customer service I guarantee I'll never shop there again and will make sure everyone I know is aware of this.

Order placed on 8/27/16 and delivered & accepted to an incorrect address on 8/30/16. Today after a two hour frustrating experience in dealing with customer service I was told that they will have to first retrieve the order before they would reship or reroute. Seems rather unfair that I have to wait for them to possibly retrieve a package delivered 10 days ago to a receptionist at the front desk of an office. I was told they should resolve it within 14 working days. Thank you Kohl's that made me feel so much better!
The products of this company are fine. My complaint lies in the fact that I received my order, the bras are too large and there was no packing slip included. I can't access chat other than their idiotic "virtual assistant" and all that gives me is "Thank you for shopping at Kohls.com" and nothing else. I can't stay on terminal hold, and can't get a copy of a nonexistent packing slip. I'm just hoping that when I go on Friday (when they're supposed to reopen here) that I can get the exchange I want. The store itself, so far, has been great. The two stars are for their extremely lousy website.
My order was a total mess, from wrong sizes sent to receiving an item with the security tag on it. I called customer service and it was a waste of over an hour texting back and fourth with someone who was NO HELP. Cathy G. Resent me my items supposedly and when I checked she sent another incorrect item. What the heck are they doing at Kohls? I couldn't even get a real person on the phone. I placed the order on line thinking it would save me time, this was not the case. I honestly will not deal with an incompetent company. Or at least their employees are. This was very disappointing.

So I guess shopping online at Kohl's is a huge risk. You may or may not get what you ordered. I chose Kohl's over other online stores on Black Friday based on their deals, but after spending a lot of time and placing my order, getting a confirmation by email, my order was cancelled with no reason given. When I called customer service I was told they were just out of stock on every single item I ordered. And sorry for the inconvenience but nothing we can do. No other solution... just "sorry about that." Really?! I can understand one item but all 7 different items? I shop online all the time and I have never had this happen. What a joke! Why would anyone order online at Kohls if theres a chance you could just have everything cancelled after the fact? Why bother wasting your time and losing out on good deals on other sites that will honor your order?! There are way too many other choices and competition for Kohl's to treat customers like this.
Kohls is always well stocked, spotless, has friendly/helpful employees, easy to read prices especially the sales items, lots of items on clearance, and always offers discounts either through the mail or at the register. They are my new favorite store!
I have a 17 year old daughter who is suffering from severe depression for over one year. Recently, she decided to go to Kohls and attempted to steal 3 pieces of ear rings worth around $27 (with coupon). I am not justifying my daughter's actions. However, this is insensitive and too harsh.
This is the first time she ever done something like this and we do not know what caused her to do this. Anyway, Kohls sent her to jail and they did not even contact us. Their policy is to prosecute anyone who tried to steal $20. They lost me as a customer.
When you need to do a even exchange for whatever reason you can only do so if the store has it there. They will not honor price paid. This is not the way kohls should be treating customers. Buyer beware.

Return/exchange policy same price paid only if it is physically in the store if purchased online. Stay away from ordering kohks online.

I will never use kohls.com again. I ordered a package through their website and they shipped it to the wrong address (not input by me - their system randomly assigned a different address). I called every day for 6 days and always got the run-around. Everyone had something different to say and no one ever followed through on any sort of help. I can't believe I had to spend so many hours on hold trying to fix a problem that I did not cause in the first place. This company is terrible!
Love the site! There are at least more than 2 items in every room which are from Kohl's in my house now. And there are certain things I just go straight to kohl's to shop for, like bedding. Best after shopping all over the places. Love it!
Every time my wife calls Kohl's the automated rep says she owes $9,000.00. When she talks to an actual rep she is told Kohl's doesn't even have limits that high and her balance is around $300.00. My wife has been trying to get this resolved for months.
Every time I have gone into Kohl's, the signs and tags are always marked down in price. I wonder, do they ever sell anything at the price that it is "supposed to" be marked down FROM? It seems like a scheme to get unsuspecting people to buy things and think they are getting a bargain!
You can find some incredible deals at Kohl's. I got a nice winter coat that was on super clearance. I paid around $15 on a $90 coat. They always have sales though and a rewards program. It's incentive to go back in shop when you have say $25 in Kohls cash. It's like free money. Buy most of my clothes there.
If you are a Grandma and need a great place for kid's fashions, go no further than Kohl's.
I love buying for my granddaughter. I know if there is ever a problem, her mom can exchange without a hassle. Great selection and reasonable prices. When I get Kohl's cash, I give it to my daughter in law as well and she uses it as a treat.
Kohl's is my first 'go to store' for everything. Thank you! Overall I like the ease of shopping online and either having it delivered or picking up at the store near me. Also when shopping it automatically shows you availability for your nearest store. Sometimes I find the selections shoes in particular versus in the store when I don't have a lot of time to shop.
Shopped Kohl's on line at Christmas 2014... never again. And I will never shop in their stores as well. I had nothing but problems with my orders, they said they didn't get my order, but the did take my money out of mu acct. Very unorganized. Rude
I have been buying from Kohls.com for many years. They are an honest, trustworthy retail establishment. Their customer service department is excellent. Their products are reasonably priced. They accept Kohls cash and rewards when you place on line orders. I am so pleased with Kohls. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good product line with the most professional team of service reps. Thank you Kohls.
I can't really claim that their online experience is really better or worse than others since while I never really had any issue, I also haven't had the greatest experience. I've ordered a few shirts and a pair of shorts off their website. I've also bought from a few other places depending on what I was looking for and what style I was into at the time.
I can say for sure that their shipping is rather accurate, but you need to buy a size larger than you're probably expecting. The clothes were a bit tight fitting; their support was rather decent about replacing one of the items as a result. I was able to show them that their sizing chart on the website was inaccurate.
Everytime I use the Kohl's website i have a problem. Most times Kohl's customer service department doesn't care at all. When they sent out my birthday coupon it wasn't attached, their reply was oh well we can't replace it, let your post office know. I think they don't care about their customers at all and the quality of their merchandise is just fair.
I recently made my first purchase with Kohl's online and it sucked. I was not notified of shipping delays and then when I called in to find out why I wasn't notified about the delays I was advised I needed to keep track of the order and call UPS. Really? What's your job Kohl's? Pay minimum wage to people and treat your customers like crap. That 3.1 might need to be a 2. I will not shop with you again anytime soon unless you make this right. You should at least notify customers on delays. I know my job do you?
I returned a faux-leather Rosetti purse today (too small; not enough pockets) with receipt. The lady asked me if I had the Rosetti tag. I said "no". She proceeded to recreate the tag--WRONG! Deal with the customer in front of you FIRST then print the tag. I demanded my refund. She finally "woke up" and gave it to me. The lady next to me, seemed to be arguing with the clerk about her refund also.

Have to say I have had nothing but positive experiences with Kohl's. A couple of times I have gotten the wrong item in an order and they worked diligently to correct the mistake. Customer service always very polite and helpful.
