This year shopping for children's back to school clothes I visited many stores. Most were not stocked and the variety was very limited but Kohl's was great. So many brands to choose from and very neatly displayed. The customer service reps were friendly and returns were easy when need be. Their online selection is even better than in store and the shipping is prompt and arrives quickly. The quality of the brands they carry are also top notch and wash well. I would recommend shopping at Kohl's.
This business drives me crazy. I cannot ever be sure I am getting the best price. I will place an order online. The next day the item will be on sale. Place that order, then a few days later, the discounts change and yet an even lower price is available. What kind of business want's customers placing multiple orders only to return them all because prices have changed? I have one last return of a group of items that had me go through 4 orders to get the best price. I make sure that I consolidate so I only have to go to the store once for returns, but then the poor clerk has to spend 20 minutes with me sorting through multiple orders for the returns. I am done! I will shop elsewhere. Kohl's, lower your prices overall and keep them standard and YOU will save money! What an insane business model that cause extra work for everyone, and drives your customers away.
I've only gone in a Kohl's one time and enjoyed the experience but to me its just another J. C. Penny's. Good selection of some items, but less of others.
Kohl's used to be a great place to shop but not anymore, the prices are off the wall (summer pajamas for women $52.00?). Everywhere I look items are "buy one get one 50%" which is just a gimick to get you to buy 2 but it isn't working. Most items you couldn't possibly want 2 of. Inventory in stores is very low and you can't uses % off on toys (which are already higher than other retail stores). I would also love to have my instore purchase visible on the web site like Walmart & Target have. I can see why they are having probelems but the high prices are not going to help them since store turnout is low.

Look for bargains and don't get sucked into "buy one get one 1/2 price.
Keep track of purchases because it is difficult to figure out return if you use discount and kohls' Cash.
Also, Kohl's cash isnt really used like cash at all. It is taken off before any store discount instead of at the end when you would typically pay.

Great clothes at very good prices, but their shoes are total crap! Shoes fall apart within a very short period of time, although they did take them back.
Kohl's has decent prices already but the sales are INSANE! I usually shop the sales racks and come home with huge bags of clothes and shoes while spending next to nothing. So much fun!
I have been a kohls card holder for years and in 1010 I lost my job due to the covid 19 outbreak. I had a small card with a credit line of $200 and have been struggling to pay it. I have been making small payments and this last month (sept) I payed $140 before the 13th. I had late payments and fees, which i understood. I had a remaining balance of 190. Today I was told my bill was back over 230 and that I owed over 100 to bring it current. I had just made it current last month. Every day I receive multiple calls a day from Kohls and emails. I am unemployed and have repeatedly told them so. How can i promise money I dont have. Once I can I will close this account. I wont shop here any more. What a rip off
I left a review at Kohls.com about an order and was told that my review did not meet their guidelines. So I was unable to tell others how my furniture order was missing parts and that Kohls blamed the vendor. Instead of Kohls just sending me the missing baskets that they also sell seperately; I have to wait and see what the vendor tells Kohls then Kohls will respond to me. So others thinking of buying this dresser will not know that this could happen to their order of the Windsome Terrace 3 Tier dresser too.
Very pleasant shopping, but limited for my purposes. I have to concentrate on the discounts and things like that- coupons, codes. If you like that, it's great.
I ordered somethings that ended up not fitting went to return them with all the paperwork and they tried to screw me on my refund. So hard in fact I sold them online.
While I LOVE the Kohls store, my online experience has not been great. Ive made two orders in the past two weeks, and THREE of my items have had mistakes made by Kohls. One item was sent to a completely different person because their warehouse screwed up. Another is lost in the mail. And the last item they sent to my BILLING address which is not where Im staying right now, and the order CLEARLY says that the shipping address is seperate from the billing address. Very disappointed. Kohl's is NOT doing everything they can to satisfy their customer and they just lost an online customer in me. I'll still shop in store, but Im done online.
I ordered four items. Shipping info stated four items in box. There were only three. Called customer service. Its in Ecuador. Language barrier. After four unsuccessful attempts to resend the item not in box. Four hours of request the fifth with item number for tennis shoes and forty minutes later asked IDF I wanted pajamas. Outsourcing and doing business with a third world county means third world service and in full meaning means no service. Tennis shoes are not being sent. Did a credit to my account. And account is now closed. No further risk to let this repeat itself. Doing business from an unamerican company means unanerican service. Equals no customer service.

By the 23rd-- the item was still not here. The tracking said the company sent a pre expectation shipper but no merchandise. That is the way it stayed. Kohls, of course, says it could be the shipping company instead of taking responsibility. So I spoke with a woman about overnighting the item for me since it is Kohls fault. She starts arguing that we dont know its Kohls fault. Could be the shipper. No more Kohls for me. I am done with them. 2nd time with shipping issue.
Probably the best place to still get a decent pair of jeans from Levi's that won't cost you $100. In Europe... you will be happy to pay US prices for these jeans!

My daughter was very disappointed in the availability and variety of product. They used to be much better and far more competitive than they are today.
I went to kohls with a gift card i got for christmas. I bought a small crockpot upon getting home a friend offered to give me a nice crockpot sooo i didnt have a receipt and figured i would get store credit, well i paid 18.00 for it and the next day brought it back and they told me i could only get back 4.99 in store credit... WHAT luckily i was with my girlfriend and didnt do what i would like to have done, but hey im trying to be a stand up citizen. And i realize the only impact on kohls i can make is by doing this. So here it is. I will never ever spend a dime in that crooked $#*! store
I love Kohls and you can get lots off with their coupons and Kohls cash. I would give 5 stars but I don't like how you have to pay return shipping costs when you return an item. Most places like target, nordstroms and JC Penneys pay return shipping... If Kohls did I think I would order from them more often.

I have shopped at Kohl's for almost my entire life and love the products, prices, and employees. I decided to order online at the end of November for some X-mas items. Well, after placing my order I find out (through calling) that several items are out of stock and they even sent me a different color of one of them instead of giving me my money back. On hold right now with customer service because they lost my package with 9 of the 19 remaining items in it. They want to scrap the whole order and have me order online again. Nothing is in stock and what's to say I won't have the same issue again. I refused and told them I will only be shopping in the store. These orders contained presents for other people and now they won't have them. The tracking info said a specific delivery date and the first person I spoke with confirmed the date. The day came and went and when I checked the tracking status it had gone backwards 3 steps to being at the fulfillment center. This is ridiculous and what they offered for compensation was an insult. I asked for more since I only received 3 of the original 19 items. The rest either were out of stock after I ordered or in the lost shipment. By far the worst online order experience I have EVER HAD! Merry Christmas!
I have had the most ridiculous experience of my life with Kohls online customer service. I ordered something and it is being shipped to my old address. The order is still processing so has not shipped yet but they will not cancel the order or change the address. They tell me I only had 20 minutes to correct a problem. Admittedly, I made the mistake of not paying attention when I placed the order. I usually ever only have 1 address on file so I just clicked past it. As soon as I noticed, I contacted them but after talking to 4 different people I am basically out of luck. They had the audacity to tell me (all 4 of them) to contact the people at the former address - complete strangers who bought the house 3 years ago.
I'm adding one of the chat logs here so that people can understand what is going on and the ridiculous policies of Kohls "customer service"
In the meantime I, a long time customer and credit card holder, am forced to take the loss because they will do nothing to rectify the situation. They don't sympathize that Human Error happens. What's more, they agreed to put in a ticket to correct it but said that they can cancel the order ONLY if it is a Kohls error... meaning, they are capable of cancelling it, but refuse to unless it is their fault.
I'll be closing my credit account, sorry to say.
Kohl's charge card is NOT a safe card to use online. They don't follow payment card industry standard to verify the billing address.
I placed an order of less than $100 with my Kohl's charge card.
The system auto filled with a very SIMILAR but WRONG shipping address and BILLING address. The transaction went through with the wrong billing address.
I talked to the representative regarding the issue, Joshua with ID 9I5Q, he told me Kohl's charge doesn't verify the billing address for online transactions.
I have made many online transactions with other cards and know that billing address need to be 100% match the address with card for all cards, even a typo will not go through. Credit card companies use this to protect the consumers, that is industry standards. Kohl's charge is the only card not follow the industry standard.
I will never use this card to do online shopping. It is potentially NOT SAFE!
I've never had any issues with anything I've ordered online from Kohl's. I've ordered clothes, shoes, purses, watches, etc. All came in a timely fashion and the products were as described.
This is fair warning to anyone considering getting their Credit Card or anyone who has recently signed up for their Credit Card. I was purchasing some housewares on sale and signed up for the Kohl's Card to save some additional money. Ultimately I spent about $50. I planned to pay it off in two months. I marked on my calendar the due date of the bill. The day came and I went online to pay my first payment. When I logged in, I was surprised to find a late fee of $25. Apparently they consider the day to be over at 7pm CST, I was on my computer to make the payment at 9:30pm MST. Nowhere else have I ever had someplace charge me a late fee BEFORE the day was even over. I will never shop at Kohl's ever again.
Yesterday, we used our Kohl's coupons to make an online purchase.
Our purchase was delivered approximately 24 hours later.
We are very pleased with this level of customer service from Kohl's.

Yesterday, I received 2 $10 Kohl's Cash Coupons in the mail. I believe I received these coupons from Kohl's to make up for my recent online experience attempting to purchase yoga mat straps.

I don't like the fact that I can complete a purchase for a product online Kohl's claims to have available to only find out a week later, that the product is actually out of stock.

Around September 15, I ordered a yoga mat from Kohl's online. I received the yoga mat.
On September 21,2021, I ordered a yoga mat and a 4 pack of yoga mat straps.
Around September 24th, I received the yoga mat but not the straps.
The following day, I contacted a representative of Kohl's via their online chat. I was informed the straps are in the fulfillment process.
Yesterday, September 30th, I received an email from Kohl's, stating my order is cancelled because the straps are not available.
Immediately, I go to the Kohl's website, look up the same straps, and the website reads "Only 6 left!".
This morning, October 01,2021, I spoke with a Kohl's customer service representative and I was told, "Sometimes what we have in inventory doesn't match with the items for sale online and we're very sorry for your inconvenience. You'll be receiving a refund in a few days (vague)."
I reply, "Well I still need the yoga straps so when Kohl's restocks these straps, could they just be sent to me?"
Kohl's replies, "We will issue you a refund and you can reorder them when they're in stock."
I replied, "Well how will I know you have them in stock, when your website CURRENTLY states, there are 6 left."
All the representative could say was, "We're very sorry."
Therefore, I am submitting this review to let everyone know:

These yoga mats and straps were my very first time ever purchasing ANYTHING from Kohl's.
I don't need the potential future possibility of stress and aggravation, so I will not be dealing with Kohl's for ANYTHING in the future.
I suspect there may be thievery in the stock department.

You can purchase an item, but you might not get it because Kohl's has inventory problems.

Online their goods seem cheaper than in the store. Very Surprised at the last shipment size 14... looked like size 6. The purses were just plastic for a high price.
