This year shopping for children's back to school clothes I visited many stores. Most were not stocked and the variety was very limited but Kohl's was great. So many brands to choose from and very neatly displayed. The customer service reps were friendly and returns were easy when need be. Their online selection is even better than in store and the shipping is prompt and arrives quickly. The quality of the brands they carry are also top notch and wash well. I would recommend shopping at Kohl's.
This business drives me crazy. I cannot ever be sure I am getting the best price. I will place an order online. The next day the item will be on sale. Place that order, then a few days later, the discounts change and yet an even lower price is available. What kind of business want's customers placing multiple orders only to return them all because prices have changed? I have one last return of a group of items that had me go through 4 orders to get the best price. I make sure that I consolidate so I only have to go to the store once for returns, but then the poor clerk has to spend 20 minutes with me sorting through multiple orders for the returns. I am done! I will shop elsewhere. Kohl's, lower your prices overall and keep them standard and YOU will save money! What an insane business model that cause extra work for everyone, and drives your customers away.

Poor online ordering experience. Couldn't log into my account because the system was down, so I had to check out as a guest. Then they sent the wrong color and am given only option to return it online. No option to communicate with someone online to fix it so I had to go out to the store (Jackson, MI). Once at the store there was no clear directions to returns so I went up to the checkouts right by the front door. They were not busy 1 customer at check out and one just getting into line. As I walked through the door a cashier greeted me. I walked around the maze to get to checkout. There had been 3 employees discussing something and one checking out someone. I thought ah cool, np I will be in and out in no time. I was wrong. 1 of the 3 other employees that has been disusing something came over and opened a second line. BOTH cashiers were painfully slow and both started having issues with items ringing properly. It was only after standing 15-20 minutes waiting for them to finish at least 1 order, a manager came up to help them. As she came though glancing over at me with my package with shipping info on it she told me returns were in the back. So I go back to returns and the only thing they can do is return the item and reorder the right one since it isn't in stock at the store. Would be fine except it was a sale item and I have to pay full price for the reorder and if I want the price difference back I would have to wait for the full priced shoes to come in, then take them back to the store again for a refund and re-ring. I live 15 minuets from the store there is no way I am wasting all that gas because you couldn't send me the right shoes in the first place. I returned the shoes and wont be shopping there anymore.

Kohls has the worst "customer service" I have EVER seen. I placed an order on Kohls.com as a gift to be delivered directly to the person. When I went to change the delivery address it seems I changed the billing address in error. At that point the order should have been denied how can I change both the name and address on my account that easy? So unfortunately, I didn't realize until after the products shipped. The delivery date on the UPS track and confirm was 5 days later so there should have been enough time to redirect the package. I called Kohls and was told that they had made the error they would call to correct it but since I was the one who made the error they won't do anything. I said to the representative "So you have the ability to fix this error but since it was my error and not yours you will do nothing to help me! I contacted UPS and the shipper has to make this change so I do not have the ability to fix this. What kind of customer service is this?"Kohls has the worst "customer service" I have EVER seen. I've never had a problem with Kohls and if u go around the sales before and after the holidays u can get some great deals!
I love shopping at Kohls. They have great prices and many items to choose from. Their staff is wonderful and willing to assist at anytime.
Kohls has great customer service just not enough people to give it. It's hard to find someone to help.
I will start with stating I have been a Kohl's charge customer for over 20 years and have excellent credit. I was last in the store on 6/30/21 and made a purchase on my Kohl's card. Today I received a credit alert notification that the account was closed. I called Kohl's customer service and encountered several representatives who I could not understand and was transferred to April ID#5631 who is a supervisor in the US. She insisted that the account was closed by the credit bureaus and I should contact them and provided their numbers. Clearly, she needs some training and to learn that credit bureaus manage information, they do not close accounts. Call #2 was again to Kohl's customer service who also who had no idea and then Ken ID#6881 explained that I had not used the card for 2 yrs and it happened to have "automatically closed" on the same day I'd used the card. There is no way to restore it, but since I don't need the card and don't need to shop at Kohl's especially after today's events, its not an issue and won't even affect my credit. But seems to me since their own employees are working from home due to COVID-19 they wouldn't close customer accounts for those not out shopping. KOHL'S CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST.
