“Cheapest way to get kpop merch, good service.”

I've been ordering from this site for almost two years now, and I've only ever had a few issues. The site has an error where they'll sometimes put down the wrong shipping address if you have multiple saved on your account (I selected my albums to be sent to my home, but later I checked and it was set to go to my college). When this happened, I contacted customer service and they fixed the problem right away. I've never had any other problems, and it usually takes exactly 2 weeks for my items to arrive on the cheapest shipping option. I'll definitely keep using it for the forseeable future!

I usually love kpoptown, but this time, they sent me the wrong item and asked me to return it in order to get the "right" item I originally ordered. Truth be told, I put my foot down and then they told me that they'd give me a partial refund, which was around 10% of the total I paid. Do not order from them. Their customer service is very poor, minimal English skills and plain rude. Good luck getting more customers, businesses like this rarely do well in the long run :)

Their customer service is very poor, minimal English skills and plain rude. Good luck getting more customers, businesses like this rarely do well in the long run :)

Tip for consumers:
You're better off ordering from other sites, the shipping is very expensive (even the cheapest option and without tracking number), and they tend to get your order wrong.

I ordered from them CD with registered small packet and it took more than 42 days, and I still haven't got my item. Not to mention their very slow replies. I've ordered from korea so many times before with even worse shipping options and it came in less than 5 weeks. They are taking their customers as a joke. I will never order from them ever again, I'd rather order from korean site with agent service.

I ordered a poster with the album, album arrived after 3 weeks, but poster didn't. I contacted customer service every week, and they kept asking me to wait. I've been waiting for almost 3 months now, and still has no clue where my poster is. I doubt if they have really sent it.

My parcel never arrived, it took me FOUR months to simply get refunded. They reply once in a blue moon, do stuff when they feel like it. They have the worst customer service EVER. Yesasia is my go to but I wanted to try kpoptown, never freaking again. Never order from them.

Worst site ever! I ordered 2 albums and they said that the package was shipped back so I have to pay (AGAIN!) for the shipping so I did and until this day I've never seen my albums yet! Honestly, I'm so mad I even gave them a chance! Ebay sellers or amazon are safer and you'll actually receive your albums within 2 weeks or so.

Every time I order from them, the item always came in bent/spoil. When I email the customer service team, they always take more than 5 days to reply my email and ask picture for proved. I sent them the picture and they took another 5 days to reply saying nothing can be done. Whenever there is something happened, they always say they cannot do anything about it. Their apologies is not even sincere. If their items were in TOP condition, I would not mind paying a little more expensive but now its like they trying to ignore the problems and blaming it to their supplier. Sigh.

I made a purchase and a item was missing. Sent them details that they kept on asking constantly but never had a reply back. I even sent them suggestions of either credit me or send my money back for that item with again... still... no reply. So to be general. They stole money off me and is giving me the blind eye. Bad enough that they didn't read my note/request of changing the price label on the package so I wont get caught by customs.

The necklace I ordered arrived in less than 10 days (Germany) (arrival at inward office of exchange after just 4 days according to tracking). I chose K-packet, because it was just 1 euro more than the cheaper option. The packaging was good and the product just as expected - for what I believe to be a pretty good price.

I've spent a lot of money buying things from this site over the years and most of the time everything was perfect. This time though, I have received a faulty album, it was scratched and the booklet was strangely warped for some reason.

After contacting them, they offered to refund a small amount of the original price. But of course I was not satisfied with that because the goods they delivered aren't working as intended. I let them know I wanted either a full refund or the item replaced and since then they have completely ignored all my emails. They've not given me a refund of any kind nor a new item.

After being a loyal customer for years, you'd think they would try to fix the problem a little better. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

For the love of God do not buy from them.
The preordered items will always get sold out AFTER you bought it.
But they would still charge you the shipping fee.
No notification or refund about the cancelled item unless you ask them.
I was so excited about my limited edition item and then they tell you two months later they are gone.
So why bother?

Its my first time to order from kpoptown. I ordered a laptop bag which cost me over $100 bucks. I received a notification that they already got my money but after an hour or so, they told me that they run out of stocks for that bag. They offered me a bag with same design but smaller coz its for kids. Hell no! I told them I want a refund and gave them my paypal account. Been messaging them for days and still hasn't received any reply. I was looking over the internet if they have a contact no. I really wanted to sue them. They gave me a lot of troubles. Never ever buy from this site. Its worst. Ever worst than I can ever imagine. If there's a zero rating, i would have give it tho them.

Kpoptown is my first kpop shop, I have never had any complains in their service.
One time there was a delay in the production of a certain lightstick, I already ordered to them. They immediately emailed me that there was a delay and if id like to wait or get a refund.

I waited for the arrival of the lightstick. I email them once a month for an update and I always receive replies from them.

Out of the blue. My package was already on its way to me. ( i thought it was another package i was anticipating) SURPRISE! After 3 months. I got my package safe

Ive been ordering kpop albums from them and nothing had gone wrong. It arrived earlier and there were no damages.

The packages were always wrapped in bubble wraps.

Why I'm giving them this review? Because I was so happy with their service so far!

The worse site I ever ordered from. I ordered an OST vinyl album in February of 2022. Never received the item or any information and in August asked for a refund. In March 2023 it was finally canceled and a refund granted in 3-5 days. It's been 3 weeks and still no refund.

Placed an order for a concert dvd on the evening of MAR 08,2022. Received the automated response and nothing else after that.

I sent them an email a couple of days later, asking for some sort of update on my order and received a response 24hrs later (next day), informing me not to be concerned and that my order was being processed and would be shipped out soon.

Exactly one week after placing my order (MAR 15), they finally shipped it out using DHL and it arrived at my door on MAR 18, from Korea to Melbourne, Australia, very well wrapped and in perfect condition.

I didn't mind the 2 week timeframe so much, but the lack of customer updates was concerning, as I would have been left hanging (wondering where my money went) for a week if I had not requested an update.

Anyway, they're legit if anyone's wondering, just keep bugging them if you want any status updates and don't expect them to ship the next day (or week) or anything.

Tip for consumers:
Bug them if you want progress updates, as they will not give you any until the item is shipped, which could take up to one week.

I have been using this site for about 5 or 6 years now and every time they are fast and handle things with care. I have bought multiple merchandise items, albums, posters, and even makeup. Every time I got what I ordered and often sooner than expected^^Not only do they insure the makeup you order is from a new batch direct from the makeup company, they also have their album sales count on Hanteo Charts to help you support your favorite K artist, I completely recommend this site

I am very satisfied with the purchase. I bought Christmas Evel. I was constantly informed about the entire course of purchase, shipment of product and delivery. The product was shipped on the day the album was released and was shipped to Europe in 3 days. The price of DHL was normal, not like some sellers ask for over 100 euros, / incredible and sad at the same time /. But Kpoptown did not disappoint me, I am very satisfied, I definitely recommend. And from now on I will be shopping mainly in Kpoptown for everything related to K-POP. Thank you K

I preordered bts' album Her to England. The predicted shipping was 2-4 weeks and it arrived within 15 days in perfect conditions - what more could I ask for. This site had the best reviews I could find as well as being the cheapest for me, and I would 100% use again

I ordered the three ver of What a life album with three folded posters and only the posters had arrived! There's no albums! I have waited for a month and 20 freaking days! I will never order from this $#*!ty website ever again will never do the same mistake again

Ordered an EXO album last year. Never got it and when I contacted them they just sent me a copy of the paypal receipt saying that the money is already received so they can't do anything. Don't bother ordering from this site, find a legit website like Synnara or something.

Their prices are not as cheap as they look because these guys are obviously overcharging on shipping.
I just added 5 copies of OMG's summer special album to the cart, and saw 'Total shipping: $39.90', while it was only $15.99 on catchopcd.
Seriously, I really don't understand what so many kpop fans stick to this crook.

Looking at the reviews, I totally get all the frustration. Kpoptown won't refund you if youre items get lost in the mail. I preordered two albums from them back in Jan. And its mid June and I still havent received it. They told me to wait or check the post office and still nothing. Customer service is bad. Everything is bad and shady about that site. So I strongly advise people to never buy from this. They are scammers, they cannot own up their bad service.

I used to buy from kpoptown only, one day I ordered a bts album and it came seriously damaged, so I emailed them about it. They emailed me back saying they could give me a refund but i had closed that bank account so they offered me a voucher. They offered me a voucher... worth $1! Like, I almost feel insulted by that, and it discouraged me from continuing being a customer of theirs.

I've never had any problems at all! I ordered my EXID album and unfolded poster, both came in great condition, kpop town is the cheapest place compared to other sites to purchase kpop stuff! So I always go here! Shipping is fast but the delivery is faster than the last time I bought it, I was shocked, my 2 albums I ordered took a little over 1 week and I got it! Kpoptown has definitely approved with fast shipping and delivery, and when you pre-order they give you a poster with your purchase! I love it! This is the only place I buy my Kpop albums, they come straight from South Korea and nicely packed! Love it!

I have order two time before, no problem...

But now so many problems and a very bad customer service...

For one of my order, they are asking me money because there shipping calculator isn't working. The shipping I paid was very vey high and they ask for 5 more US$

And an other order after, one of the item is sold-out and the said maybe they won't refund the shipping that I paid for the sold-out item. See what they send me: "we will ship possible items and refund for sold out items' price and left shipping cost if any after shipping your package."

I recently ordered from kpoptown: two albums that I wanted to give as a gift to a friend. After the payment was accepted, they proceeded to message me that one of the albums was sold out and they would ship the remainder of my order if I agreed. I had asked them to replace the sold out album to which they said they were unable to do so. I then asked them to cancel my order because their site said I was able to do so as long as they knew my order number and I requested to do so, but they refused and then proceeded to ship my order without permission. They also did not tell me how much I would be refunded. I am now waiting to report this problem to PayPal and I will never be ordering from this site ever again! Do yourself the same thing and find a more trustworthy site to use.
