1 AM Dixie Highway (Official) Doreen Brightwell. 1h Shout out to Theresa and Deborah at the Shively Kroger to Night. Theresa was the cashier and Deborah was the Bagger. They were the ONLY lane open and it was backed Up. There were four other employees standing around Talking doing absolutely nothing! Theresa told me it was Her day off, but she came in to help out. It's good Employees like these two ladies that will finally get tired of Doing the work for others and quit to go somewhere else Where they are valued. Do better Kroger!
Kroger's online shopping is the worst experience. They have people answering the phone with attitude and just keep hanging up and put you back in the queue without letting you know. I have called four times and the issue still has not been solved. I am forced to file a chargeback on my credit card because their so-called customer connect has failed me on all levels. What protocol do you have in place if your so calls are being monitored? Disgraceful ZERO stars from me
I really don't understand what all the fuss is about when I read negative reviews. Some are simply ridiculous! How can the pharmacist or techs have the meds ready if they haven't received them? Really? An old adage that I think applies, you can't please some people...EVER!
Tip for consumers:
It has been my personal experience that all of the folks that work at Kroger are hard working and nice! I've not experienced some of the behaviors by staff, that I read about, so I am a bit skeptical about their authenticity. On the contrary, I have had nothing but good experiences at Liberty Drive location.

Bank statement shows two charges. Charged twice for delivery. Original receipt on account page shows $120.92 due. Emailed receipt for $129.31 added additional delivery fee. Bank charges were $118.51 followed by another charge of $28.85. For a total of 147.36. I actually tipped the driver $10 additional because of the holiday. Would love to send receipt but, you have no option for PDF.
I tentatively tried Kroger delivery, was skeptical. But ever since that first time we have been DELIGHTED! Each delivery is fresh, frozen products still frozen, chilled produce till cold.
Kind and helpful employees are always on time. What's not to love? Thank you, Kroger!
Tip for consumers:
Watch your text the day of delivery. If they're out of stock they will text to ask your advice on substitution.

The delivery to my home was less than 12 hours from when I place the order. The quality of the food, portions, and pricing was great. The delivery driver had an outstanding attitude. She even knocked loudly on the door per instruction as we are hard of hearing.
What it costs in fuel to travel 36 miles round trip to shop, the time involved would have costed more let's not forget that if shopping at Walmart, we would have to deal with the clientele that they attract.

I worked at the Kroger in Dearborn, MI, ******* Michigan Ave in the bakery department with Laura J. She is the ONLY reason I gave the store 5 stars. She is an excellent trainer. Her customer service skills are phenomenal. She is the best cake decorator I have ever seen. She is very patient and thoughtful with new employees. She did not expect you to learn things overnight that she has practiced for years. I took a picture of her skills in progress. Due to staffing shortage she is not doing special orders but she can write on a cake if you get there early enough. I made sure the bakery was cleaned. You could literally eat off those floors

Hollins deli was supposed to slice this on a #3, which is thick. This is thin, broken into pieces and it infuriates me that my husband paid 8.00 for a bag of crap. I have been shopping with Kroger for 48 years and I am going to start shopping elsewhere.
Kroger offers grocery delivery through Kroger or Instacart. The fee for Kroger warehouse delivery is $6.95.The groceries always arrive late and most of the time something is out-of-stock.I had an item missing that I had been charged for.An important coupon was not applied on my final receipt-more than once. Some items do not have an expiration date when you receive them. For example-packaged deli meat and chocolate candy. The final price of your order is always nothing like the estimated total.Beware of dealing with Kroger delivery service. You are bound to be ripped off.

They use a bait and switch policy.

I need to voice how I feel about the cold and unfriendly feeling I got/get recently at one of the stores: it seemed that every employee I saw was miserable and unhappy - I say this because there were no smiles whatsoever from any of the ones I saw - even if I smiled at them, and for sure no friendly conversation. I realize times are very stressful (for everyone, not just businesses), but as far as Customer Service goes (actually for Kroger in general), it doesn't make the grade at all. I'm very disappointed in this, and would like to know that this issue is being addressed - from the top down. Grocery shopping is difficult enough in these troubled times without feeling like asking a question or asking for help is an inconvenience. Sour faces only make it worse.
Multiple problems from day one with no store help and only robots that don't understand anything outside of store. Spent hours trying to set up alternate id so that I could use my fuel points. Ridiculous. I recommend shopping elsewhere.
Support small grocery stores. If you keep supporting big box stores you will keep letting them have control. See how they take away employees benefits just because someone won't get a shot for one reason or another. Could be medical or religious reasons but it's still freedom of choice. Kroger is just sheep following a false agenda. Time to find a new store.
I don't write many reviews, but Kroger's delivery is absolute garbage. First, I can only log in on my computer every now and then. I keep getting "We're sorry, an unexpected error occurred. Please try signing in again." Tried three different browsers all with the same problem. Their support is absolutely useless. Second, the web site search is the worst search engine ever. I can't find anything I want using the search function as it's terribly unintelligent. I don't even know how its sorting results, but YOU can't sort them. You want to sort price high to low? Nope. You want to search by reviews - there are none. Just utter garbage. Third, the truck is often late. Don't set up an evening delivery it might come at 2 am.
Tip for consumers:
Don't order an evening delivery because if they fall behind you could have to stay up to 2am waiting for the truck.
Simple Truth (Kroger natural brand) organic milk just had it's notice of (No hormones, antibiotics or pesticides used removed from the new packing. There are only 2 reasons to pay money to change packaging to remove that notice - either it now has been cheapened and contains those things (which I understand is illegal in organic labeled items), or they got caught with those things in there and had to change it. The fact that it happened right during an inflationary period cannot be a coincidence, so it's likely the first reason, but whichever it is, you cannot any longer trust any of their products or labeling. Stay far away from Kroger brands! Shop elsewhere; you're health and your family's depend on it!
Tip for consumers:
Antibiotics, hormones, and pesticides in the organic Simple Truth products.

I was refused service for not wearing a mask, even though I have had the vaccine, and live in Texas where there is no mask mandate. Even if you think that's fair, let's think about this, how do we get back to normal if cranky old deli workers are guiding corporate policy. Dude actually invoked his union representative when management got involved. This is not the America we want.

I have been a faithful Kroger shopper for more than 30 years but since discovering that they choose to base the products they carry on political affiliations, I won't be spending another penny in their stores! It's time for the consumers to put their money where their mouths are and run these political hacks out of business! I love the many employees there who I've come to be friends with as I am usually in the store 3-5 times a week and I will miss them. Hopefully corporate will issue apologies and correct their mistakes before my friends lose their jobs! I encourage every conservative customer to shop somewhere else and be sure to review all Kroger products on all consumer feedback platforms as possible.
Poor customer service! Offers many options such as no substitutions and substitute items anyhow, as well as cancel orders and still somehow pay and receive the order. Refund orders take 30 days to process; however within a minute of placing an order an estimated amount (more than enough) is charged to your method of payment. No thank you. I am not even a Walmart fan but their Delivery Service is Top Tier… Highly Unsatisfied!
Signed up for Boost because it's getting too hard to shop and lift heavy items (water, drinks, etc.). I found out they will only deliver late at night (for me). The big issue is they came an hour after the delivery window and didn't deliver any of the heavy items. Then I found out I can cancel any time, but they keep the $59, and there is absolutely no recourse. Their "contract" is written completely in their favor with no actual rights for the customer. Plus, if you forget and don't call and cancel, they will auto renew forever.
Better get your lawyer to go over the contract before signing up for this amazingly bad deal. Better yet, NEVER consider donating your money to Kroger for this ripoff. I feel very sad this is where we have gotten to in this country. Honesty and actual customer service used to be a real thing.
The manager at Kroger in Southfield Michigan is stealing money from the company! His name is Andrew. The worse store manager u will ever meet! Im trying to get in contact with corporate as we speak. An i went threw you scan an didn't get my cash back i was suppose to get an its been over a month. Im not letting this go he will pay. Kroger is a horrible company an im going to make sure people know this. The worst place to shop an upper management steals from customers an the company
Tip for consumers:
Please do not shop at krogers

I have been using Kroger's delivery service for about three weeks now. As far as the deliveries themselves, everything tends to go very well. My problem is that each week, Kroger will take out an "impending" charge on my debit card for my delivery. After receiving my items, they then take out another "impending" charge in addition to the original charge, so my debit card is charged twice for the same order. The first charge is always put back into my account, but it usually takes about five days for that to happen. In the mean time this extra charge keeps about $150 to $170 tied up, and this is a big problem because I live on a pretty tight budget. I have reached out to Kroger by phone and email several times, but no one can help OR explain why they double bill me with each order. Very upsetting! Buyer beware...
Their website has everything you need shop online for pickup or just make a grocery list for in-store shopping. There is always a great range of digital coupons & member savings. Some are tailored to your purchases so it's worth getting their membership. The chain has really expanded its community outreach during the social restrictions. Kroger has added employees to meet health guidelines and adjusted to the wide changes in how people shop. My Kroger is in North Augusta, SC and it is awesome!
Tip for consumers:
Become a Kroger member. It opens up so much savings at no cost to you.

I lean toward the Kroger brands because of quality and cost. I've found the hundred or so I've bought are usually better than or at least equal to the higher 'name' brands. Each store has options to change prices depending on competition nearby. They have some really amazing sales too!
I placed two orders, neither one showed up, when I had to call customer service it went from bad to worse. First they said the only option was for me to cancel the order and then re-submit my entire order $123 worth. The customer service people were barely awake and barely spoke English. One person sounded as though they were driving, complete with wind tunnel effects. Held for all the employees until the end where they could no longer help me and immediately canceled my order and told me to re-submit. Please save yourself the hassle and be aware they confirmed they were at home WITH our personal information in front of them on a computer. How easy is it to take a screen capture when you are unsupervised?
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT use this site. There is no way to resolve any issues.

I received a letter from them 3 years ago still I can't even get in to change my email which got compromised right there. I can't make a new account. The site just keeps on telling me, we have problems come back another time and similar stories. Seriously? When is gonna be fixed and never mind is not safe to be used. Thousands received the same letter I received so all of their information got kaput.
Returned "fresh fish" twice. Now buying from competitors. Other customers that I talked to have had the same problem. Is the seafood section being inspected? I think they wash old fish and hope the customer will cook it before it starts to smell. The people are not very friendly either. If I could, Kroger would get a negative for their seafood section. The rest of the store is a 4 out of 5 although a little pricey.
It's disgusting your techs won't take time to help customers in the pharmacy. The pharmacists are amazing but your techs have turned me off from all rx being filled at the Everson Point store or any Kroger forever more? Twice they said I didn't have coverage. Funny how another drug store located my rx coverage in a few minutes.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away from kroger pharmacy at all costs. Rome, GA screwed me and Emerson Point screwed me. Being disable makes it very difficult and the techs couldn’t care less!

I tried on two different occasions after being released from the hospital to get my prescriptions filled and told they no longer accept my insurance. I was overly weak from a collapsed lung, broken sternum, broken back, and rib fractures to argue. I paid the full retail price on 3 of the 4 meds. My rx is valid if they just went in and did a search. Now all my prescriptions will be filled elsewhere. This in turn means I won’t be picking up other items as well.
Yesterday I bought meat from one of my local Kroger stores. I've never had an issue with freshness there; it's a really good store. But I opened some chops to cook for dinner and they were spoiled. I contacted Kroger on Twitter because, you know, meat is expensive these days and the chops were almost $10. The rep asked for the UPC code which I didn't have since I threw the meat away,, and for my customer card number. They got back to me in just a few minutes, telling me they'd issued a $15 credit on my card and wishing me Happy Holidays. That's how you do customer service. I appreciate you, Kroger.
