1 AM Dixie Highway (Official) Doreen Brightwell. 1h Shout out to Theresa and Deborah at the Shively Kroger to Night. Theresa was the cashier and Deborah was the Bagger. They were the ONLY lane open and it was backed Up. There were four other employees standing around Talking doing absolutely nothing! Theresa told me it was Her day off, but she came in to help out. It's good Employees like these two ladies that will finally get tired of Doing the work for others and quit to go somewhere else Where they are valued. Do better Kroger!
Kroger's online shopping is the worst experience. They have people answering the phone with attitude and just keep hanging up and put you back in the queue without letting you know. I have called four times and the issue still has not been solved. I am forced to file a chargeback on my credit card because their so-called customer connect has failed me on all levels. What protocol do you have in place if your so calls are being monitored? Disgraceful ZERO stars from me
Kroger has made a huge mistake with their digital deal policy. Older people who don't use "smart" phones are upset and have stopped shopping there. I've talked to several. Kroger made another enormous blunder like their Scan, Bag Go fiasco.
The result? Empty stores. Inventory is way down. Vast empty spaces that used to have merchandise. The customers have gone. Sales are not down because customers have cut back. Kroger lied. Sales are down because customers are leaving and going to Walmart and Aldi's. Because of stupid corporate management that treats customers with disrespect.
But it's even worse. Kroger is now engaging in outright fraud and deception. Example: Yesterday I saw a big sign on the blueberries: one pint for $1.79. Great price. But then in fine print impossible to read because the sign is at waste level: digital deal only. Normal price $3.49. That's fraud. The fine print at waste level is meaningless, so the result is a false advertisement of $1.79.
At one time Kroger treated customers decently. If you didn't have a store coupon you could get the flyer at the customer service desk with all the coupons. Now, if you didn't think ahead and download coupons at home on your laptop, and don't have a smart phone, you are screwed. Kroger is driving away its once loyal customers. Including me. Shopped there since the 60s and remember how they used to treat customers.
How stupid.
I wish I could leave a review on the Kroger brand gummies of Melatonin 5mg where it would be more relevant, but the option was not presented elsewhere. I bought Krogers brand of Melatonin 5mg (gummie form) because they were more affordable than Zzzquil's pure Z's gummie Melatonin 2mg with chamomile and lavender. Obviously there is a difference in the mg. I took a kroger brand Melatonin and felt hung over the next day, all day. I decided to take half of the kroger brand thinking it would lessen the side effects and woke up feeling the same, hung over, groggy, and spaced out. Unfortunately, these didn't work for me as well as Zzzquil's brand. Zzzquil's gimmie Melatonin has never made me feel hungover or had negative side effects. Lesson learned. Stick to what you know and cheaper is not always better.
Do not shop at Kroger, they are charging unvaxed employees higher insurance premium, they are in line
With the democrat communist party that is known for the worst kind of division and racism
I quit buying meat there because it was so awful spoiled and they kept selling it to just buying certain little items there because it is close to my house that was a big mistake had some digital coupons and used them which I thought my bill was over $100 so I knew something was wrong so rather that hold up the line I come home to figure it out got a hold of Kroger's cuz they ripped me off and when the person asked me if I could send her the picture of the discount it magically disappeared from my account so the moral of the story is I need to stay the hell out of Kroger's I advise everybody to be on their toes when they're in there because they're obviously ripping people off I will be turning them into the better Business bureau
Tip for consumers:
I'd think about it before I go to Kroger's and shop you know a penny here a nickel there didn't matter but today it just was too much when you figure they get every person that buys something there a percentage off of them that's a lot of money when it's added up
So there advertising if you transfer a prescription to there store they will give you 50 so I did that and I called them to see why I didn't get the money they say oh because you have government insurance you don't qualify smh I knew it was a scam
Your lack of ethics
After firing Your employee in CO. For getting data to help to catch criminals who rob your store, neVer again if you don't do him right and give him his job back.
Tip for consumers:
I don’t like that they fired an employee in CO. for doing the right thing by possible risking his life to get information on a crime at their store. Thor manages have no ethics.
Kroger in Valley Station, KY is always out of product (even when there is no low stock warning) and trys to substitute with items I can't accept. I understand kroger does not know me or my situation, BUT if I've ordered 5 DIET/ZERO SUGAR drinks why in the world would you substitute with REGULAR? Or there just isnt a substitution at all.
Or you have to buy a certain number of an item to use the coupon and they are CONVENIENTLY out of 1 item for said coupon and you get charged full price for the others. Yes, you can review and accept or not the substitution if there is one, that doesn't change the fact that by not having advertised item Kroger is finding ways to get your money.
This new website is a joke. I often have to search. Just to find a way to get to my schedule. Not to mention it's down on all Fridays. Great people worked just fine. Not sure why they got rid of it.
They lie and steal! They added products to my order in the sum of almost $55.00! They did not refund my $$$$! When you call they will not help nor are they honest! Management is terrible!
Tip for consumers:
Don’t sign up over priced! The worst service ever

Kroger's website is the worst I have encountered. Couple this with the way store has gone, I will no longer shop Kroger. Heb is a much better store all around.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TOOK ALMOST A MONTH TO GET MY ORDER. I GOT MY GRILL TWO WEEKS AGO BEFORE THIS ONE SHOW UP A FEW DAYS AGO. I ORDER WITH KROGER ON JULY 9! YALL BEEN SUCKING SINCE I WORK FOR THIS COMPANY WHEN I WAS A TEEN. MANAGERS AND OWNERS THINK THEY ARE BETTER THAN EVERYONE. I AM HERE TO TELL YOU YALL SUCK! YALL NEED TO LEARN HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT AND LEARN HOW TO LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER AND YOUR EMPLOYEES. KROGER YOU SHAME ME. LIKE MY MOM WILL TELL ME GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER
Tip for consumers:
Do not order nothing online from this sorry business
Please. DO NOT eat their cashes. They are absolutely disgusting in taste. WHO THE F*** puts SOYBEAN oil on cashews. THE SOYBEAN OIL THOUGH! I cannot explain how disgusting the SOYBEAN OIL makes these cashews. Went to make some vegan cheese. Came out tasting like SH** BECAUSE OF THE SOYBEAN OIL... Kroger cashews
I am so disappointed I used to buy Hatch Chili cheese puffs by the case. They have been gone for years I'm not coming back to Kroger's until they bring them back or at least find a way to order them
I ordered groceries from Pick N Save like I have done many times before. This time, however - Kroger would be handling the delivery. I got a text that my delivery was complete - no groceries. Got on line with customer service - they could not locate my groceries. Sat on hold 45 minutes - they promised to get me a refund but had no idea where my order was. In the meantime, my neighbor came to my door and asked if I had ordered. They came to her home - she told them she didn't order anything - they did not ask her address - just dropped the groceries on her front stoop and said to either keep them or throw them away. She and I had to walk back and forth retrieving my groceries, which had now sat out in the heat for over an hour. Customer service said they were refunding my money due to the inconvenience. 4 days later, still no refund. I called to ask about the refund, now customer service says, well you got your groceries so no refund. No refund of the delivery fee, no refund of the spoiled groceries... nothing. I will never shop with Kroger again
Horrible customer service.
It took 6 weeks to get back to me on a doubled billed order.
Left the 800 number on my voice mail.
Called back waited on hold 20 minutes.
Person hung up on me.
I work for Kroger, mabie not much longer seems to how you don't get regular raises no bonuses not even a turkey or ham for the holidays no Christmas parties no nothing and to top it off I learned all the mangers are getting 1000 to 2500 bonus when it's us reg employees that do all the work, no waunder Kroger can't keep help, where's our 1000 to 2500 in a bonus must be nice!
I am unable to shop in the stores because of a severe injury, so have to order online, and depend on home deliveries. Their computerized ordering software is an absolute nightmare. I've had to battle software error messages, many that aren't even legitimate, throughout every order I place. I've been reporting this for months, to no avail. Then, there's the inventory issues. The software allows the user to order to order things that are not available. No notice is given of this until after the order has been processed. The user's funds for these items are on hold in bank accounts for up to around 10 days. Then, they also advertise specials, and don't stock anywhere what they need to support these specials. Customers don't want to go back out, and shop at some other store, so they either purchase something else at a higher cost, or do without. I could write a book about these people if I wanted to. Hard working, responsible, and honest people of the 1960s and 70s made Kroger THE place to shop, but the management of today is tearing it down.
Tip for consumers:
Keep an eye on refunds they promised, especially those that will go to your Kroger card.

I've shopped elsewhere.
My 95-yr old mother can no longer shop at her local Kroger. It seems management designed the current interior traffic flow to force customers to walk the entire length and breadth of the store on every occasion. Though there are two self-checkout areas, Kroger management opens only the self-checkouts far away from the single entry and exit door in the mornings; there are no cashier aisles opened at this time. The floral boutique has a cashier and is located near the entryway, so I took my mom (uses a walker) there to browse the lovely flowers. Unfortunately Kroger alarms any exits near the floral boutique and requires the customer to walk a circuitous route through the CLOSED self-checkout to exit the store. Today, the single entry/exit was also malfunctioning. I had to alert management that there was literally no way to exit the store without triggering an alarm. Ridiculous! Additionally, the pharmacy is located even further from the door than the faarrrrraway self-checkouts. For years we preferred shopping at Kroger (despite higher prices) for convenience. I now consider the store poorly run and management unconcerned with efficiency or customer convenience. Hate to say it, but I'm going to Walmart, where at least the checkouts are near the door.

I live in a senior condo and since the beginning of the pandemic, been using pickup, warehouse delivery and INSTACART. Kroger Warehouse delivery has been spot-on with only a few items not available since they are delivered right to the store; Pickup at the local market is efficient, professional and quick. HOWEVER, Instacart (this week only) was a horrible experience. There were seven items charged to my order that I DID NOT order, want or was present with my groceries. It was obvious that the driver needed the candle, ice cream, cabbage, noodles, Red Bull etc. I gave her a tip of ten dollars because the weather was snowy and icy. When I reviewed my receipt I found the additions; called Kroger Customer care and they were again professional and quick resolving my issues, however told me to call Instacart to make the complaint which I did and will write about in another review. The Instacart individual I spoke with tried to tell me it was two orders getting mixed up! She insisted I could not speak with her supervisor or anyone in the US. I might be old but still have my faculties. The copy of some of the receipt is below from my computer. She did not give me a receipt
Tip for consumers:
Do not use INSTACART @ Korgers use their warehouse delivery if available.

The Kroker's I visit is in a long time well developed part of town and surrounded by upper class housing. So, I guess they feel they don't need to keep the old store up anymore. The service sucks, I have to bring a smaller kart in from parking lot or use the big honger for a few items (all the time). And mostly they are up to their old tricks; Sales Price. 77 (very fine print at the bottom "Final cost - when you buy multiples of 5 or more..." if you miss this, then and not watching the register upon check out, that item will cost you $1.79 ea.! Remember the buy 10 for a $1 ea. You only buy 5 and they ring you up at ~$1.99 ea. Because "You had to buy 10 to get the discount". I guess they got tired of returning these item back to the shelf.
Every time now I check out, something is marked wrong or the Kroker discount does not apply. Get home and just a couple of item and they make a couple of extra bucks.
This has become the norm! Watch your register when you check out.
Another "watch out", I have gone through a rash of getting home and missing an item. Guess the check-out is taking that stuff home? Or return to shelf and there's an extra dollar or two!
Let's see who is starts whining when I begin ordering my groceries on-line delivery...
I went in at 9 pm. store is open i do my shopping. I do not wish to do self check out. I have full week of groceries. Not one lane is open. Instead, I get to attempt to check myself out with no assistance. The one idiot on duty simply watched me to make sure i didnt steal anything. As I rearranged my bags so that I could continue to check out, this moron just kept watching. If you want to keep the store open, KEEP A REGISTER OPEN. IS THAT HONESTLY TOO MUCH TO ASK? KROGER SUCKS
I can go across the street to bag my own crap at ALDI.
Kroger store in paris tn, is nothing like any other kroger i have been in, they have no pharmacy no lil clinic, no senior day like all the others, they do not honor tv adds, they do not honor most kroger friday freebys nor kroger coupons, i have complaind befor to the company, with no results. I reccomend any other store like save-a-lot or iag
I have my elderly, ailing mother set up with a Kroger delivery account attached to my credit card. Today's first order totaled $312.52. She received a message that the delivery had been delivered to the front porch. She went to get it and it wasn't there. She calls the local store in The Woodlands and the manager 1) is rude, 2) doesn't care - says it's Instacart's fault. She calls Kroger 800 # and waits forever to talk with someone. It's not resolved. Finally, four hours after the delivery, she finds the order in the BACKYARD at the back gate on the driveway! Of the $312.52, $115.70 in cold and frozen foods were ruined sitting in the 90-degree sun on the driveway! I call the local store 5X and no one ever answers the phone. As I type this, I have now been on hold with the Kroger 800# for 30 minutes. Worst customer service ever! If someone is ordering through the KROGER.com website, you'd expect Kroger to fix the issue. But everyone wants to pass the buck. If this doesn't get resolved, I will go to my own credit card and have the order backed off. I will NEVER set foot in a Kroger again. HEB would have fixed this problem immediately.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid Kroger delivery service. No one at this company gives a damn about customer service.

I routinely have issues getting my Kroger deliveries. I have an easy address, nobody else seems to have trouble finding. However, Kroger drivers keep delivering my orders some place else. Kroger WILL NOT refund your money for 7-10 business days or longer. I tried getting a Boost membership, but when I had no groceries for multiple weeks, and they still had over $250 of mine, so I couldn't get anymore groceries from them or anyone else, I asked to have it cancelled. They cancelled the membership immediately, but I am on day 10 and still have only received $18 of the $250 I paid for groceries that weren't received, and $0.00 of the $59.00 membership that was to be refunded. When I called in to find out about the status of my refund they tell me they can't do anything about it, they requested the refund and they don't guarantee refunds in 7-10 days that is generally how long it takes. They suggest I check with my bank. I know that I can see credits instantly when they hit my account. Have now been unable to buy groceries for my children in over 10 days, have used all the resourced I know of. For the record I have spent over 3 hours of my time trying to get someone at Kroger to help me including 1+ hours on the days the groceries didn't arrive. Thanks for nothing Kroger!
