1 AM Dixie Highway (Official) Doreen Brightwell. 1h Shout out to Theresa and Deborah at the Shively Kroger to Night. Theresa was the cashier and Deborah was the Bagger. They were the ONLY lane open and it was backed Up. There were four other employees standing around Talking doing absolutely nothing! Theresa told me it was Her day off, but she came in to help out. It's good Employees like these two ladies that will finally get tired of Doing the work for others and quit to go somewhere else Where they are valued. Do better Kroger!
Kroger's online shopping is the worst experience. They have people answering the phone with attitude and just keep hanging up and put you back in the queue without letting you know. I have called four times and the issue still has not been solved. I am forced to file a chargeback on my credit card because their so-called customer connect has failed me on all levels. What protocol do you have in place if your so calls are being monitored? Disgraceful ZERO stars from me
I made an online pick up order. I picked up my order and things went down from there. My order total somehow changed between the time of my pick up and me receiving the confirmation email. My total increased by $252. I ordered 7 lobster tail for $6, which totaled $42. I was charged for 7 lobster tails for $42 each, for a grand total of $294 for 7 lobster tails. The store claimed it was an online glitch and the online side claimed it was a store scanner error.
Since it was their error, you would assume that I would be refunded immediately. That was not the case. I was told it would be 5-10 days to be refunded, even though, it was their mistake. 10 days go by and no refund. I called and was out on hold and disconnects total of 4 times in an hour's time. No supervisor would speak to me. When. A customer service agent tried to get a supervisor on the line, she mistakenly transferred me without letting him know I was on the line, and he was overheard saying, you need to talk to her, which she responded that I was already on the line; and suddenly, I was disconnected for the 5th time. I am so disgusted and dismayed with the way this has been handled. Kroger.com needs to be retrained in customer service and how to treat their customers in general. Publix will be getting my business and I will let as many people as I can know about this experience. GIVE ME MY MONEY!
Past few times I ordered from Kroger Home delivery, they substituted items when I told them not too, and then they sent me ROTTEN BANANAS, AND TODAY THEY DID NOT SEND ME ALL MY ITEMS AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR THEM, THIS IS GODDAMN RIDICULOUS, AND SORRY!

After spending hours rifling through hundreds of coupons, I found that you have to be extra careful reading each coupon carefully because it's not always what it seems and this takes a lot of your valuable time. I nearly spent $5 each on two bags of Sunchips because I failed to notice that the coupon was for Pick-up or Delivery ONLY, as those coupons are mixed in with the regular coupons and those chips are going back to the store which is MORE of my time and costs of FUEL, AND is that wasn't bad enough, the $0.80 coupon only brought the price down to $3.69 for each bag and they are only $3.50 at Walmart, which brings me to my other gripe, doing Kroger Feedback to get a few extra points off at the fuel pump. All that time spent and money spent at Kroger saved me a whopping $0.40 total for the month or.20 for two visits to the pump, which after filling up my car, only saved me $2.00 which I can hardly buy a piece of gum with. On top of all this, the weekly coupons, only available from Wed to Tuesday, if you don't get to the store on Wednesday morning to get the deal, the things you wanted will be gone the rest of the week, no matter what store you go in. Not all of us are able to go to the store on Wednesday morning.
OVERALL, it's a racket and you will spend more of your valuable time than it's worth in savings.
I do not like when I eat expired food dummies and also you need to check the expiration date on the food and the items that you carry before you sell them!
I order from Kroger delivery because it's the only store close to me.
Last week I placed an order to be delivered between 7:00-8:00 AM. At 9:05 I received a voicemail from Kroger that was illegible. All I could understand was the word credit. I called the customer service number and they had no idea why I was called. Finally after about half an hour I was told that they had staffing issues at the distribution center and they had no intention to deliver that day. They also had no idea why I wasn't contacted for over an hour AFTER the delivery window. They then sent me an email saying they were sorry that I canceled the order even though they canceled.
Kroger admittedly hires customer service representatives and supervisors from outside the country with little understanding of the English language.
Another trick that Kroger pulls is to offer a discount amount or a certain price if you order a certain number of items and be out of stock or substitute an item that's not on the list. Then they charge you full price for every item since you didn't get enough of the items on the list.
For over a year they posted on the website that the driver would contact when they arrive but it didn't happen. Customer service representatives, supervisors and corporate office personnel said that the driver wasn't supposed to contact the customer even though it was posted on the website. Eventually that statement was removed.
I will never order anything from this company again I ordered something from them I tried to cancel it they're telling me I have to receive the order to turn around and send it back that's not the way it should be it's not even been shipped yet I haven't even received it why should I have to receive it to send it back somebody needs to investigate this if you have you should be able to cancel it
Tip for consumers:
If I would have known when I ordered I couldn't cancel it before I received it I would have never ordered it

Their customer service line (including the on line chat) is absolutely horrible! They actually have this statement on their web site...(If you'd like to speak with us directly, or if this is an urgent matter, please call us at 1-800-KRO-GERS (*******377).)
I had an issue from September 6 that had never been followed up, and when I finally called back they said it would take another three weeks to call me back about! I spoke to some manager named Simon who simply told me that they're a big company and there's nothing anyone can do. Well, their company is so *******@cking big they certainly don't need customers like me. I can go to Walmart and get treated like sh!t and at least save some money. Or better yet, pay a little more and go to Giant Eagle where they actually believe in customer service, I guess because they're not so high and mighty, like Krogers now is, that they don't need customers anymore. Honestly haven't had customer service this awful since I dealt with United Airlines and Taco Bell. Needless to say I don't waste my money on those companies anymore.
I an absolutely discussed with Kroger customer service. I called because i believed the local store made an honest mistake and put one of my bags in with someone else's order. I didn't put all of my items away as soon as i got home because I went to the store on my lunch break. When I put my items away i discovered some of my items were missing. I called customer service the first time and was on the call for 48 minutes. The lady said i had 4 cancelled items and i told her no I had 1 that was on my order and the items i was missing were on my paid receipt. She advised she needed to call the store and was having system issues but I still waited. She comes back and again tells me she does not see the items i'm missing on my order. Again i tell her i'm looking at what i paid for. She then proceeded to tell me my order is fraud...what and that its not about me...excuse me! Now i'm really upset and demanded to speak to a supervisor and she tell me she already spoke to a supervisor and they are going to tell me the same thing. I finally hang up and tried to call again and find out why they are accusing me of being a thief and have now just been on hold for 1hour and 5minutes and no one will answer.
Rodney was great! My order was on time and the driver very polite and deserving of a starI've been using Kroger for a year now and works great for me.
Scanner prices can be inconsistent with signage - watch for errors in product pricing. Many staff do not know products or placement. Quality of food, produce, etc is good.
Why can't Kroger stock at night. It is like driving on a crowded interstate. Also, the in-store shoppers filling their mammoth carts block isles completely and they could care less.

As usual today, I purchased items "on sale" from my Kroger location As usually happens about 25% of the time, the sale price does NOT ring up when checking out. Toady I purchased two items (shredded Kroger cheese for 6.99 reduced to 5.99 and Kroger sour cream advertised in store for 1.99). Neither sale price range up. It seems that when this happens, no one seems to make an effort to get it corrected on the computer.
Problem two is employee attitudes. When I ask for the location of a product, I often get " I think its on aisle such and such" instead of "I don't know but let me find out where it is". I'm too old to walk around the store playing seek and find.
Problem three: The produce section is usually either understocked or the produce is not very appetizing looking. Produce usually doesn't last long after getting it home.
Problem 4: unstacked shelves, often out of items. No excuse. The Publix store in the neighborhood has well stocked shelves and I rarely find items I need sold out.
I strongly suggest checking your receipts before leaving the store to make sure you haven't been overcharged. Their advertised "freshness" guarantee you see on tv is worthless, because if its not fresh,
The only thing you get is an "oh well".
Too bad I had to rate Kroger with one star, but there is no 0 star category.
The Kroger store I use is located at 1510 Eastridge Road, Richmond Va.
When in line at uscan lady moved away from scan as if she was done so I moved forward the uscan worker got in my way & block me off like i was going to run out the store Just a nonstop harassment I'm not liking Kroger much right now this is my 4-5 Complaint I went to the bbb aweek ago still nothing has been done!
I put stuff on sale and then when it rings up at the cash register it rings up higher cuz I said you didn't download something to your phone that's bull crap if I got the card I shouldn't have to download and some people's phones don't download and I'm pretty sure it's against the law to say it's causes $2 and then rings up $4 I hope they fix this f****** problem cuz I'm not buying a phone that downloads your f****** coupons you put a f****** thing on sale that's what should ring up I'm going to contact the damn lawyer and find out if I can get a lawsuit again still for ripping people off because if you're charging one thing and then it rings up another I'm pretty sure that's against the law
This started off as an amazing service. My first order was spot on so I went for the $60/year delivery service. I told everyone about how splendid it was. Then came my 2nd, 3rd and 4th orders which were an abomination.
First of all, with the exception of ground beef, the red meat is always unavailable. I just ordered 2 briskets and a chuck roast. Brisket was on sale for $2.47. They sent me over 30lbs at $5.99/lb. It was over $176. The roast was subbed with something 2x the price. My last order they charged me for the 'freebies'. I was missing a bunch of stuff but was charged. (that was the 1st time this happened).
Don't email or chat when they rip you off. Call. You'll be on hold for 20min but the reps are actually American and helpful. I got a refund and canceled this trash. Guess I'm going to the store from now on
Tip for consumers:
Don't do it. You don't know what you're getting until the order is delivered. You WILL be contacting customer service.

I placed an order for a 150.00 gift card on December 14,2023. It was
A Christmas gift for my elderly in-laws, which is why I ordered a
Plastic card to be delivered to their home rather than a digital gift
Card. It was understood that the gift could take 5-10 days to be
Delivered and under the strains of holiday deliveries, I was hopeful
But understood if the card didn't make it before Christmas.
Three weeks after placing the order, the card still was not delivered
To Ohio and I called for an update. The automated system told me the
Card had been shipped that exact date (12/29/23) and could take 5-10
Business days. I was extremely upset but, again, with the holidays,
I was understanding. Another two weeks went by and on January 5,
2024, I called again. The automated system told me again that the
Card was shipped on that exact date (1/5/24) and could take 5-10 days,
Which was ridiculous and obviously NOT good information. This was now
Four weeks after ordering the card and I was now furious at the way
Your company does business. I called and was able to speak to
Customer service who basically told me they could not track the
Delivery and kept repeating it could take up to 5-10 business days to
Arrive.
Nobody, not even the supervisor I finally got to speak to could
Explain your process, the reason for the delay, or give me a
Definitive answer to when the card would be delivered, where it was
Coming from, why it was taking so long, etc. I cancelled the order and
Asked for a full refund (Case #CS *******), but that is not what I
Wanted. I wanted to give my in-laws a gift they could use and would
Appreciate and they got nothing. I have no idea if I will even get a
Response to this message (I'm not expecting to), but you should know
How poorly your system works. I could not be more disappointed and
Will share this experience with everyone I know to save them the
Aggravation I faced.

Nothing from Kroger.
My wife taught me to review all grocery slips from Kroger. Almost invariably, they over charge on something or another. My nemesis is with the soda pop area. You absolutely have to, have to, have to read every word on the shelf tag. I usually get it right, but today, I was wrong again for the umpteenth time.
Their trick is to change the number of bottles you have to buy to get the marked price. They change the typeface each time, so sometimes it is small, sometimes it is large and should not be easy to miss, but is anyway, because you didn't expect it to be so large.
In any case, the generic brand is the trickiest. One week it is 69 cents if you buy 3. Next week it is 79 cents if you buy 5, next week (this week) the name brand is 88 cents if you buy 4. Some weeks, you can buy just one for 79 cents, other weeks you have to buy 5 to get the 79 cent price. I got caught today and didn't read the tag quite right. I bought three name brand sodas that I thought would be 88 cents each--that's the biggest type face. Well, when I went to check out, it was $1.67. I went to "customer service" Ha Ha Ha. The lady there pointed out that it was 88 cents for four not three. She was absolutely right. I muttered a few polite criticisms and told her to take them all back. I didn't buy any. The store brand was 79 cents if you buy? (I forgot to look).
Always tricking the customer. Of course if you buy $100+ worth of groceries, you won't see that you got gypped--who takes the time to look at 40 or 50 items anyway? Kroger wins.
At least twice a week one or more of the digital coupons will not work correctly when I check out at the register. Customer Service closes at 8pm and NO ONE in entire store has authority to override the APP! They want me to come back the next day and go to Customer Service to get acc refund the overcharge. I couldn't buy cherries for my family this evening because the App didn't link the digital coupon price of $1.99 lb - instead of $4.99 lb to the register. I just couldn't afford to spend the cash for the regular price. This has happened several times. I also find the app to be the worst mess of confusing information and wayfinding I have ever used. I have used their shopper card for years so I could get the sale price and use the points for gas discounts. They get to use all of the data from my purchases. I got the app because I wanted the digital coupon prices. So now they get even more data from me but the coupons don't work. Also, if there is a sale sign posted next to an item, I always take a photo of it because when I go to pay, the sale price won't show up at the register and the clerk will never take my word for it. I show them the photo so I don't have to walk back across the store to prove it. It's the worst grocery store I have ever shopped. Other stores have merchandise - even with all the supply chain issues - but Kroger looks like a Moscow grocery store with numerous empty shelves on every aisle.
Tip for consumers:
Be aware of any sale prices so you can ensure that they are honored at register. Or find a different store.

This is for the store on FM1488 & 2978 in Magnolia, Texas. The store is dirty, the items are out of date and if you want a cart you better go to the parking lot and find one. This store has all the reasons to drive further and shop at HEB. THIS STORE STINKS AND THE MANAGEMENT STINKS TOO!

I bought an Atchatz fruit Pie at Kroger and went bk to buy more as they were delicious. Went to 5 different stores and could not find them. Took a long time, fuel, and it is cold in Michigan. Called Kroger Corporate Offices and was emailed a list where I was assured I could go and get the pies even though some stores were quite a distance from where I live. Out of the 15 stores given not ONE had the pies and even when in-store customer service was asked about them they gave me the kind of hunched shoulder ( I don't know, scratching the head type of answer). I HAVE BEEN GOING TO KROGER A LONG, LONG TIME. ( I really don't want to tell U how long)! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NIL TO BAD. IF Corporate cannot help the customer and know what they have in stock, then woe to the customer who asks in store for help. Im a senior, fixed income and all that and gas and time and driving from store to store is horrific. If you call the store U are put on hold for so long you can have a new birthday waiting on hold! They obviously NOW just care about Profit and customer service is out the window like a rotary phone.

I love shopping at Kroger but occasionally I need to have groceries delivered.
Consistently the people who are contracted to shop for & deliver my groceries are the rudest, most disrespectful, unintelligent & inept people that I do business with.
Today the delivery driver pulled up to my house with her radio playing so loud it rattled my whole house. She was talking loudly & cursing into her phone the entire time. Then she knocks on my door to tell me she didn't scan the big bag of dog food she delivered. I could barely understand what she was saying only 4 feet away from her because of how loud the music was.
I looked at my receipt later & found it had been paid for. But several things on the receipt were not delivered. Every single time I resort to using this delivery service I have a similarly poor experience. There's only cream corn, no whole kernel, they dont have any folgers coffee, they don't have any hamburger. If you don't help my unload this, I'm canceling your order. Ridiculous things. Every single time. There should be some immediate review of the experience & low scoring shoppers shouldn't be allowed to continue to do business at Kroger. It's angering & I'm a fairly easy going person. I purchase from Kroger every weekend for over 20 years, never even considering shopping somewhere else, but these continuous delivery attitude/aptitude issues are making me rethink my loyalt decision. I think most people who hire shoppers are probably not able to shop for themselves for health reasons. I'd hate thinking about how they would treat a frail elderly person who has no other choice but to use this service & feels helpless when they have to deal with this type of poor customer service. Your delivery service a broken system Kroger & in no way reflects the service I received when i shop at your stores in person. Please fix this!
