1 AM Dixie Highway (Official) Doreen Brightwell. 1h Shout out to Theresa and Deborah at the Shively Kroger to Night. Theresa was the cashier and Deborah was the Bagger. They were the ONLY lane open and it was backed Up. There were four other employees standing around Talking doing absolutely nothing! Theresa told me it was Her day off, but she came in to help out. It's good Employees like these two ladies that will finally get tired of Doing the work for others and quit to go somewhere else Where they are valued. Do better Kroger!
Kroger's online shopping is the worst experience. They have people answering the phone with attitude and just keep hanging up and put you back in the queue without letting you know. I have called four times and the issue still has not been solved. I am forced to file a chargeback on my credit card because their so-called customer connect has failed me on all levels. What protocol do you have in place if your so calls are being monitored? Disgraceful ZERO stars from me
Everything is scripted with bots and overseas individuals who barely understand English at a pre-K level. They do not comprehend what you are saying. They just go off of a keyword of what you are saying and read/type the next script. Issues with orders, substitutions, refunds, missing deliveries to the wrong address, etc NEVER get solved. You WILL lose money when you shop at Kroger. The only question is, will it be dozens or hundreds of dollars? For me, I have lost HUNDREDS of dollars in missing deliveries. You are PROHIBITED from speaking to a human who speaks English as a first language. Be careful. Don't shop at Kroger.

I am over 65 years old. I have downloaded the Kroger app with help from a young lady cashier at kroger. I sent my husband with my card after i clipped a coupon for chicken. I was making him a birthday dinner. It would not work for him at the store. Three people would not give him the discount. He did not return home with the chicken. My dinner of course was ruined. My biggest complaint is that these digital coupons are not fair to older folks who are not computer savvy and to those who do not own a smart phone. Everyone is not capable and or interested in downloading every app. I feel like these digital coupons are in disregard for many especially in the older generation. The card should be enough. I was a good customer at Kroger but the service is very bad in general! But the pharmacy is the worst! Very unhelpful, even though they saw I am a 75 year old disabled woman the Asian woman refused to give me a single pill for my dog! I will never go there again!
Ordered the Nintendo switch bundle. Said it would get to my house within 2-3 days. Switched to overnight shipping and said it should arrive the next day. The item has been pending ever since and they will not reimburse me shipping until it is not pending anymore however long that may take. Also, they said I can not cancel the order or get a refund until I receive the item. Complete garbage of a website and business model that they have.
I have often noted the price on an item on the shelf, and gotten a higher price on checkout. The most recent incident was I Bought 2 cantaloupes. Th were supposed to be 2 for $3.00.
At the self checkout register, 13 count came up. I must have mistyped the quantity.
I noticed after I paid. It also charged me $2.99/each.
I went to the customer service counter to get reimbursed. They backed it out and charged me$3.00 for the 2 I bought.
This has happened to me more times than I can count.

Bought a bag of Kroger rice from food4less yesterday for fried rice. After cooking the rice for over and hour it's not soft or tender enough for consumption and it's all mashed up. Kroger should do better in packaging good and quality products for human consumption or better still leave rice business alone for those that know. This is below minus in rating
Where normally Kroger gets 5 stars from me, I now have to lower my rating. I recently visited the one in Hampton Virginia and bought groceries. One item I purchased was a loaf of pumpernickel bread. Once I got home I realized half the loaf was missing and the bag was ate through. Clearly they have rats. As far as returning it, it was not a option because I never keep my receipt. Feeling were super hurt. I just know now to investigate better before I purchase.
Ordered, never delivered. Had to call for 3 days then order marked delivered. Ah no it didnt, at least not to me anyway. They take 10 days per customer service to return your money! Not bolding my breathe!

A representative went on our local new bragging about how they are doing such great job, how their shelves are stocked, they aren't running out of stock. I've been a customer for long time, used click list before. Since the virus I've used it exclusively and each week I'm handed a sheet of paper with a list of all the things they are out of, usually front and back once it took two sheets to include all the things they DID NOT HAVE. And these things go week they week. Three weeks in a row I ordered organic broccoli florets three weeks in row they were out. Yet that woman sat on tv smiling assuring people their shelves are stocked. Bold faced LIES. Why would I or anyone else trust them. I've been a loyal shopper so I'm not familiar with other options right now but trust that I will be looking into other options when this is over. I can't stand liars!
Kroger evidently thinks they have the right to not fill people's prescriptions without any explanation. They refused to send my meds to wallgeens who was fantastic and helped me every way they could. I will never spend another penny at Kroger!

I tried to order on the website. They kept deleting items along the way. Kept bouncing around to different pages. Constantly had problems accessing different pages.
After I placed the order they increased the price without being able to explain.
If they substituted items that were more expensive they may or may not give you the correct price.
They used to post on the website that the driver would contact you when they arrive but they don't. Then the customer service representative would tell you that it's not their policy to contact the customer even though I provided a screenshot proving it but they still denied it.
They have many customer service representatives from outside the country that don't speak English very well at all.

This is our to go to grocery store. It always has whatever we need. The food is good quality. Good service. They oftentimes run really good specials on the weekends. I also use the app to download coupons to get extra discounts off. Pretty affordable.
No matter how much or how little I get, the crew here is so great! I could have 30+ items and I wouldn't be waiting long. They bag everything together properly. Example: produce together, paper products together, etc. I love this store! Thanks Kroger!
Kroger sent me a coupon for $15.00 off my first 3 orders and free shipping if it's over $35. It was they had shipping fee and no coupon off and a tax for food items at checkout. I called and it went to the Philippines 30 min call and the lady was of NO HELP! WTF Kroger is why you left FL in the 1980's ripping off your customers? We don't need you here!

I have not used this on line service yet, yet this online services lets you order on line and they bring it out to your car when you arrive. That helps me I like to browse and take my time this cuts down on long in store lines more shopping baskets available less crowds. They make it convent for the online shoppers and the in store shoppers!
To begin with, there is NO custmer service. Resonse to email takes days and then there is no resolution to problems. The delivery service by Instacart is really bad. Pickup orders are better as the shopping is done by store employees. The most recent problem is a charge for toilet paper I did not order and the driver took it back. No refund has been processed. Kroger has twice sent me toilet paper I didn't order! Some of their delivery item substitutions are weird and make no sense because the cretins at Instacart do not know anything about shopping. I spent a lot of money there but I am done.

My husband and I bought a precooked meal. When I say precooked meal you are thinking someone in deli cooked it we thought it would be in take out containers. Our dinner was frozen. They were from the frozen section. I could have went and bought the same thing myself. Worst thanksgiving ever. When I picked it up the lady said our dinner would be perfect. Wow
I visited the Kruger store in Chester VA. When I asked a store employee where to find something, she pointed with her hand. Even without looking at me, she would not say a single word to me. I didn't feel welcome in this store. I probably would not come back. After I opened the package with the product of Kroger, I realized that I would definitely never come back. This is a dirty product.
I used a 20 off of 125 coupon. They happened to be out of two things causing my total to be 123.50 instead of 127.xx (was supposed to be 107.83 after the coupon). They took my $20 coupon back and OVERDREW MY ACCOUNT. Even greedy a** Instacart and doordash let you keep the coupon savings! Will NEVER use kroger delivery again.

Over the last several months, I have received numerous coupons for free products (mostly coffee) that their stores do not have in stock. Sometimes they don't have the brand, sometimes they don't have the correct size and sometimes they have neither.
I have even gone to multiple stores and NONE of them carried the coupon product. Ridiculous. I have been a loyal Kroger customer for many years, but that may change - soon!
I can't modify a Kroger delivery order in either the app or the website. It's been weeks. No resolution. And guess what? They say they can't give timeframes on when they will receive my case # and resolve my ticket. What a joke. In what world is there no standard operating time to receive and resolve customer issues? Sounds like you all need a better tech team and web developers.
Well I use pickup, well that may come to an end. The thing I don't understand is why have separation this item for delivery only, this item in store only. What difference should it make how I shop if you have too item and I order it pick it up or have it delivered 1st come 1st serve. Seriously why offer if it's limited

Kroger customer service disappointing. I went to Harpers point Kroger at Cincinnati Ohio to return 2 heavy cast iron pots and pan to the customer service desk with the original receipt. The Guy at the desk told me that he needs the original VISA and Original Kroger Plus card. I didn't have either of them. It's my wife's VISA and who carry a plus card any more. I insisted that the credit will go back to the card that it was charged, why do you need the card, he said if it was $5-$10 no problem but for $64 he cannot do that. I returned items many times in other stores and nobody ever asked me for the card. This is a harassment and giving customer hard time to return. I had to haul my items back to the car. My wife is not happy, cause now she has to haul them back to the store. Shame on you Kroger.
