- First battery from LaptopBatteryExpress (Xtend brand) had a circuitry issue that prevented the computer from recognizing the battery. I had to pay for shipping on the warranty replacement battery. (I didn't get around to installing until after the initial 30 day period, I didn't expect issues from a $90 battery!)
- The second battery rapidly degraded over 1 year, currently about 20-25% capacity after 1 yr + 5 months (originally 4 hr battery life, now about 45 min)... A far cry from the 3 yrs claimed on their website. Unfortunately I'm outside the 2 yr warranty from my original order date so they won't help. HP Envy 15-u010dx.

I recently had an old HP laptop updated but the battery was long expired. HP said replacements probably not available and they were having great sales on new laptops... I do not recommend you purchase anything from laptopbatteryexpress.com. My wife purchased me a Sony Vaio laptop battery for Christmas and it died three months later. I contacted the company and they said I'd need to pay them $16 to ship out a new battery, even though they sold me a piece of garbage. Spend a few dollars more and buy a quality battery from a quality company. Also, your computer doesn't need a battery to run, just remove it and plug it in. This battery works better than the factory battery that came with my laptop.

What superlatives can apply to a simple device that does what it is supposed to do. Nothing more nothing less. It doesn't write letters to my mother on weekends, nor does it forecast the weather. It just powers my laptop and I think it lasts a fair long time. (I'll know more about that after the break in period)
