I booked a trip to Budapest for me and my wife to stay at the 5 star InterContinental Hotel and it went very smooth and no problems whatsoever. They were far cheaper than any other company and I would recommend lastminute.com 100%
I am very disappointed with how long it takes to get things done. It feels like I've been taken hostage by Lastminute.com. The hotel I selected was shown as available online, yet the agent's email response says otherwise. I was also misled by a previous agent who assured me I would receive a call, but no one contacted me. This is extremely poor customer service. Your web chat agents are unhelpfully cold and robotic; it felt like I was speaking to a chatbot. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was denied. Changing this trip has become an incredibly stressful experience, and I'm regretting using your service.
On the recommendation of the Australia government and the present worldwide threat of Coronavirus I cancelled my flights to Japan. The airline Qantas has publicly announced they would give vouchers to those that have to cancel. I have tried to contact Lastminute, com several times to cancel my flights. Their site tells you to go to the airline. Their site tells you to go to the agent. Neither of them will talk to me! So I am unable to cancel my flights. Therefore I am being defrauded by them both. All they had to do was tell the airline to cancel my flights in line with the airlines policy. What is so difficult and why will they not communicate with their customers. Absolutely disgraceful. Why would anybody use a company like this?
Dire company do not do simple requests, having a nightmare getting an outcome as had to cancel due to incompetency, no one calls back, i have proof my requests ignored, no no one confirms cancellation. Currently going through Resolver and credit card claiming money back
This company, which claims to be fully flexible, has not only tried to rob me of my fully paid holiday by offering an abysmal refund but will now not give me a change in a timely way. They have taken two weeks 15 emails and ten phone calls simply to be told that I have to go to my original destination although I have an unvaccinated child who cannot travel.
They simply do not care about customers and I wish I have read the WHICH review before booking.
So I decided to book with them for me and my family. The holiday was cancelled by them due to Covid19. They not willing to refund me, they said we will give you credit voucher. Who told you I will book with you again? Also rude customer service over the phone. They will never let you speak to a manager.
My 74 year old mother & aunt booked their 6 day holiday to corfu. The (arranged) transfer dropped the off at their hotel at midnight THE HOTEL WAS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. They were stunned & then approached by a pack of wild dogs. Luckily a local saved them, put them up & took them to their home & found them a local apartment for their stay. Hotel had NO info about their stay. We've not been able to contact lastminute.com or to get a refund/ compensation. This could have been an incredibly life threatening situation. Incredible.
If you're looking to book a holiday I would seriously advise you don't go anywhere near LastMinute.Com. Their customer service is easily the worst I have ever received, two months of pointless stress, providing personal documents and phone calls every other day all to receive blanket emails back and go around in circles. Their T&Cs mean they can blame everything on the airline and the hotel, neither of which you can deal with or speak to because they will only deal with the travel agent, who are unwilling to act on your behalf. After escalating it to the CEO complaints department they admitted the customer service wasn't efficient yet wouldn't do anything about it apart from 'assure me' that the call handlers will be spoken to - thanks Chantelle I feel much better now. I hope they enjoy my £400 because they won't be getting another penny from me.
Provided me with in orrect information via their app leading to additional charges throughout the trip. Complaints team just deny any wrongdoing despite strong evidence against them. Company riddled with incompetence and I'm currently having to escalate through ombudsmen and am anticipating probable legal action again them as a result. I definitely won't be using this ompaby again, I'll just pay a bit more for a respectable travel agaent

I booked and entered a valid discount voucher code for £140...the system did not take this amount off the total bill and instead over-charged my credit card. Immediately rang LastMinute.com to rectify...Ahmed in Customer Servcies basically said it was tough luck and nothing could be done but that I could try it on another booking - unbelievably bad customer service, especially when I've spent nearly £3k on three booking with LM.com in last few months alone...will not be booking with them again and recommend others don't either! PS they also try and hide behind lastminute.co.uk being different from lastminute.com despite them being the same group and bookings made under lastminute.co.uk etc are visible and updateable from lastminute.com - unbelievably bad!
Booked with lastminute.com for a one night stay in Stratford, London. Couldn't find any details about the hotel online or through lastminute.com, no phone number, address showed only first two lines. Check-in states from 3pm', I arrived at around 8pm to find the hotel door locked, rang the doorbell multiple times and waited 45 minutes outside. I tried contacting lastminute but could only get automated voices. Ended up having to walk through an unfamiliar area alone with all my valuables to find a different hotel.
Lastminute.Com - Booked a cheap flight from Wellington to Auckland and was successfully scammed into unwanted flight insurance. Even as a seasoned traveler, having declined the travel insurance several times, I missed the tiny pre-ticked checkbox on the final payment confirmation page - so subtle it was up my bum before I knew it - guess I should have read the reviews before using such a scammy little outfit, Anyway, bottom (sic) line is they got me. Don't let them get you!
Absolute joke from start to finish. Your details aren't safe. You are booked in to sh*t holes with photographs from the 80's! Don't get caught out they are unable to take video evidence only photographs. They booked my room through booking.com who didn't have my payment details so was left untill 1:45am before getting in my room as the hotel couldn't see my payment details! Smelt like people were smoking crack, no hot water! But I'm still having to supply photographs! How do you send photographic evidence just put cold in text. Avoid like the bubonic plague as that will be a better experience then with this company!
I recently booked a flight and paid £200 extra due to current situation with covid 19, supposedly to enable me to reschedule or cancel due to border restrictions. When I attempted to cancel they offered me a refund of £150 on a ticket that cost £700. Then tried I tried to reschedule flight to a later date, they wanted to charge me £250 to do this, I eventually contacted the airline directly and was pleasantly surprised to find the change of dates would only cost me £30. Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of this mob of scammers, an absolute disgrace that they should be allowed to run a business.
I bought a flexible flight through lastminute.com and they made it impossible to use. I could never get through to anyone on the phone, they ignored emails, and ignored when I gave them new contact information.
I contacted them with plenty of time to change my flight and they didn't put me on any flight in the 10 day period I gave them. They didn't get back to me until my original flight had left which meant i couldn't get a refund or a changed flight.
They are a waste of time I do not recommend booking things through last minute.com.
Avoid this company its total scam. I paid for ticket 455 euro, after my flight was canceled by air company, they promise to refund me 246 euro. My plans was broke and I lost 210 euro. Absolute SCAMMERS!
After booking a four night trip to new York in December, we were told when we arrived at the hotel that thermometer I had reserved wasn't available, instead of a room with 2 double beds we got a room with one double bed for 3 adults!
After calling lastminute.com I was told that they couldn't help us! We ended up with a camp bed on wheels brought up to our room at 1am! Not happy to say the least and I will continue to write bad reviews to save other people from encountering a horrific experience as I did

Scam company that ruined our holiday. They will take your money and wont help you when there trouble appears. They cancelled our return flight home without notifying us. We had to book new tickets. We have spent 4048 euros extra on new tickets and extra hotel nights. They fraud people and this company is a joke. They have only offered us a refund of 1050 euros. Very bad service and customer relations
I received a a mail from last minute|kiwi informing me that a flight I reserved via the site was delayed. I was surprised when I went to the airport 3 hours ahead of the new time to find that the flight took off at its initial timing. I had to reserve a new flight and when I filed for a refund I was answered " please choose the correct refund catagory " with non of the options applicable. I think they are reluctant to refund despite of their mistake.
