I am very disappointed with how long it takes to get things done. It feels like I've been taken hostage by Lastminute.com. The hotel I selected was shown as available online, yet the agent's email response says otherwise. I was also misled by a previous agent who assured me I would receive a call, but no one contacted me. This is extremely poor customer service. Your web chat agents are unhelpfully cold and robotic; it felt like I was speaking to a chatbot. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was denied. Changing this trip has become an incredibly stressful experience, and I'm regretting using your service.

Booked a family room and had 2 rooms adjoining, very pleased and the children thought it was great. Beds very comfortable. Newly refurbished and nicely done.

The Leonardo Royal is a great hotel, with amazing views, a good location and a really comfortable bed. I will definitely recommend and stay here again.

Genuine thieves, piggybacking other sites to trick vulnerable/elderly customers into purchasing through them. Then "customer servants" offer absolutely no help to rectify the situation, despite immediate contact being made. They are paid to defer customers just long enough so that flights cannot be changed.

They use unethical distraction tactics, providing false email addresses, directing people to a portion of a site that does not exist etc etc. A truly shameful practice.

Latest insult, when you pay to be checked in by the company, they cite "technical problems" and just refuse to do so, I suppose they don't care at this stage as they have already secured/stolen the customers (or should I say, scam victim's?) money.

The fact that they continue to operate in this questionable manner despite the horrendous reviews speaks volumes.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves, every single person who works for this scam company should be ashamed. You're no better than the cold callers scamming vulnerable people from call centres.

Please stop funding this scam

All staff were really nice. Room was clean. Bar is noisy down stairs through the day but we were down for a few nights out so didnt bother us! Would defo book again.

I have had a terrible experience with lastminute.com but quite obviously I'm not alone. I bought tickets for my family. Everything seemed quite normal, I bought luggages for the whole travel and requested for special assistance. After the transaction completed I expected to receive a quick confirmation but I didn't receive any until I asked the next day. However, this confirmation was a disaster as it did not include baggage for inbound tickets. Moreover no confirmation of special assistance. I asked them to correct this. They told me that I have only paid for outbound luggages and not for inbound which is absolutely nonsense. I kept writing to them but they simply deny their responsibility. Due to possibility of fare increase by passage of time, I bought the same tickets and for the same dates from a reliable website. So at the moment I have paid twice for the same travel: once without any e-tickets and without the services I have paid for to lastminute.com and via Skyscanner and the other time with my genuine e-tickets. I am going to make a formal complaint against these two companies. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also I think that it is a responsibility for the countries to protect their people against such fraudsters. I can see many people with the same situation as myself here, it is sad

I wish I had read reviews about this website before I booked with them. It is definitely a scam, they do false advertising, the customer service is the worst I have ever seem, and they deliberately try to rob your money. They committed a mistake, and because of their mistake I had to ask for a flight change. I contacted the airline and they said there was no cost for change, once the flights had the same fare. But lastminute charged me, apart from their €35 handling fee, an "airline penalty" of €178 and a "price adjustment" of €158, giving me a quotation of €369 to fix a mistake that THEY committed. It was already absurd enough, but it went worse, after I informed them that I contacted the airline and I KNEW that this "airline penalty" and the "price adjustment" were fake, they apologised and said they would send a new quotation. After a few hours, came the new quotation charging EVEN MORE than the first, even after I said I had the confirmation by e-mail from the airline that they have no costs at all for changing the flight. I don't understand how lastminute can be authorised to operate. They should be arrested, they are real thieves.

I usually go to Booking.com and not sure how I ended up with LastMinute. But there it was. Things would probably have been just fine if it weren't for the fact that i had to make a change to the reservation. That is all hell broke loose. The change of reservation itself did take about a week to complete and involved a few phone calls but we got it done, but then I could no longer access my reservation on the lastminute website. After a good week of frustrating back and forth with support, another profile was created and I could access the reservation again. But then the freebie tickets for the London Eye were gone and with many repeated attempts to get that fixed before the trip, I was not successful. I feel cheated to be honest.
The customer support staff was clueless and what was especially irritating is their inability to read the detailed problem description and the history of what had already been tried, so it felt like groundhog day at every interaction. Knowing that the person on the other side is just a cog in that broken wheel helped me staying courteous with their support staff and they tried, it is just that being nice isn't enough for good service, you also need competent people or well designed systems to handle reservations.

Having a nightmare with lastminute.com I booked return flights through lastminute.com in January for myself husband son & girlfriend to return from Turkey on 23rd August we fly out there on Monday (15th August) but in may they contacted me saying Turkish airlines had cancelled our return flight but they could offer me an alternative flight on the same day in morning & if I accepted would receive confirmation & new flight details within 7 days! Well that was 3 months ago I have emailed phoned them on several occasions to be told my request is being delt with but due to being busy they are dealing with things due to priority! So as it stands myself & family fly Monday for a family wedding with no booked return flight I've not been able to book any transfers or car parking & obviously can't book my own flights as lastminute.com have my money am so anxious that we are going to be stranded in Turkey the customer service I'm receiving after 10 emails & complaints is disgusting have even contacted Turkish airlines but they say nothing they can do it's down to lastminute.com to re book flights! I understand they are busy but why offer me alternative flights in may if they were not going to book them it takes less than 15 minutes to book 4 flights! Does anyone know where I stand & my rights or what I should do before we fly on Monday

ZERO STARS.
DISGUSTING COMPANY. They ruined my ENTIRE holiday from the beginning. I was leaving for the airport and they STILL could not tell me if I was allowed an extra bagage or not. I had to cancel my request for an extra lugage and leave without it. Customer service was DISGUSTING too with terrible staff, 100% incompetent and every single agent I spoke to through their chat was UNHELPFUL. Disgusting is the only word I can use. I will tell EVERYONE that I know (work, family, friends, more reviews) about this, to make sure people don't make the same mistake as me booking through them. Shut down your company because you clearly do not know how to run it! PUKE.

If I could rate this company zero stars I would. Absolute disgraceful booked accommodation through lastminute and couldnt go. The owners of accommodation refunded my money back to lastminute.com nearly 5 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for them to refund it back to me. And judging by the reviews I'm not likely to recieve for quite a while if at all!. I have phoned them numerous times and all I get is you'll just have to wait! ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL COMPANY. Now I'm having to go through my bank to try and get it back. We will never use again. I wish I had reviewed this company before I used them lesson learned. EVEN IF THIS IS THE CHEAPEST DO NOT USE NOT WORTH ALL THE STRESS AND HASSLE.

Absolutely shocked with the service. My fiance booked through last minute with prime air and his outbound flight was cancelled. We received an email saying that we could book an alternative flight and we would be reimbursed within a month. Therefore i booked an alternative flight for him. We then received an email saying the 600 euros will be reimbursed within four weeks. We then asked if the we could change the return date and they said yes therefore he was meant to return today. However today when he arrived to the airport they said the flight company went bankrupt and we have to get our refund directly through lastminute.com i contacted the customer service line and explained the situation. I asked for my refund which was promised and also an alternative flight for my fiance to go back home. The lady on the phone said that she can not guarantee me a refund or an alternative return flight and that we have to wait 5 to 10 days to be contacted with an answer. This is absolutely shocking. Never have i experienced something like this before. She was not helpful at all and very rude, she seemed to not care at all she specifically said to me that i have to wait or deal with it myself. This is a disgusting attitude to have. We both trusted booking through lastminute.com and to receive treatment like this it is very disappointing!

This is the worst agency ever, no support whatsoever, the do the booking and collect the money, in case of any issues you are on your own, consultants are rude and totally useless.

After you pay the ticket price to them they will be out of reach. They don't do their duties and their online agents give misguiding answers. So this is an alert message: DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. NEVER EVER. The price that I paid for this lesson was 1200 euro.

I cancelled a flight that I am sure I checked "refundable". After cancellation they told me it was not "refundable". I am sure that I chose the refundable one. I saw several reports like mine about this company. THEY ARE NOT TRUSTABLE AT ALL!

Absolutely useless Scam artists I would NEVER EVER advise my WORST enemy to use them Nor Will I ever use them myself. I was lucky I got a refund DIRECT from airline involved who were extremely helpful As for Lastminute... Even their VIP team (very idiotic Pisstakers) were useful as a chocolate tea pot. If you can bypass these agents then do so and ask airline/travel providr to refund you directly or else LASTMINUTE will charge you many tens of pounds to refund you (as per their Terms and conditions so they say)... DONT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING LETS GET THEM BANKRUPT

The room was fine, just a little hot as the air conditioning wasnt working. I was only there 2 days and only used the room to sleep in so it wasnt too much of an issue.

We booked Three days in Venice Through last minute.com. Over the last 10 years I've used their services many times so booked our flights and hotel accommodation through them for my partners 50th birthday.

The flights were cancelled by Easy Jet so we rang their call centre to get a refund on the holiday. We were told we would need to wait two months to get our money back. I then called Easy Jet who informed me that the card holder (who Were last minute.com) would be refunded within three to five days.

I called last minute.com to make them aware of this and they told me That we still need to wait two months to get our money back and would not confirm how much we would receive although it wasn't our fault.

My partners 50th birthday is only three weeks away and we have no funds to look at alternative arrangements.

I am so angry with Last minute.com. I don't blame the airline or the hotel as there is a pandemic on but I'm absolutely disgusted by Last minute.com. There is no way of complaining as they no longer even take my calls.

This company should not be allowed to trade in the UK

I would give them 0 stars if this option was available

I travel regularly but this is the first time using lastminute.com, I found a cheap city break so I thought it would be hassle free but it has been become the most difficult booking. During the booking I selected a suite room, then on the booking confirmation it had a twin. I contacted lastminute.com to be informed that nothing will be done but they will investigate and contact me within 72 hours.

72 hours later I call them to be advised they need additional time, I requested for the change to be made so I don't loose out but that was declined. No contact was made so I contacted them today 7 days later, spoke to a manager' who investigated my complaint whilst I was on hold for 2 minutes. He informed me that he reviewed my tracking' during my booking and informed me that I was incorrect so they are not in the wrong. I advised him that I booked using a private browser so they couldn't access this information.

This company provides you with poor excuses and the customer service is shocking, you're best cancelling your booking and doing everything yourself rather than dealing with the unnecessary hassle!

I was on holiday with my friend & had to return home due to my husband being very poorly in hospital. I booked a flight on a Monday morning from Malaga back to Manchester for an early afternoon flight on the same day I had booked. I arrived at the airport in good time & went to check in & was told that I was not booked on the flight & all flights to Manchester where fully booked... After an hour of talking & zero help I was in such an emotional state my friend had to come to airport to help me. I had paid £435.00 for the flight to get home as it was an emergency I was happy to pay so I could get home to my critical ill husband. In the end I had to fly to a different UK airport so I could get home & pay another 270 & travel another 90 miles once landed in the uk to get home. Lastminute.com caused me such an emotional trauma that day that I am disgusted that they treat people like this & words can not describe. They are thieves who take your hard working money & basically do nothing with it. Once home I proceeded to pursue my claim & was given an email address to write to but was given a email address that does not exist so not only do they steal your money off you they lie to you so you don't pursue them. I would never ever use this despicable firm again they are scum. I will keep trying to get my money back but I don't live in hope..

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I have never come across such bad customer experience in my life.
I booked a flight for me and my parents to go see my family. Everything was fine until yesterday when I tried to check in for our flight home.
When I logged into my account on the airlines website it said that my flight home has already gone and it was a moved a few days back. Of course, LastMinute did not inform me about this and their website said that our flight was still going through on the day we originally booked it on.
I called LastMinute's call centre and they told me my flight information did not change. Just to be sure, I called the airport that I was flying from and asked if the flight was cancelled or not. They told me that all agencies selling this flight, have been informed about the flight being cancelled, however it appeared that LastMinute did not inform its customers.
I then called the call centre again and they were no help at all. All the staff that I have spoken to from the call centre were no help, I was on hold for a very long time. In my opinion they are simply incompetent to do the job that they are doing...
After reading the reviews on here I am shocked that this company is still ABTA and ATOL protected and I will make sure to spread the word for people to never book from this company.
I would personally not recommend booking from them EVER because it's simply an organisation to milk money from clueless people.
I am truly disappointed and I will keep pushing them until i get my money back, thieves.

Lastminute Took Payment For Refused Booking
We attempted to make a booking for a hotel via Lastminute.com It was for 15 days in March. The cost was £2,500+

Both Lastminute and Tripadvisor said that there was availability for our dates.

The payment had to be made at the time of booking, which we did via VISA. The payment went through OK. The bank completely failed to communicate to ascertain whether the payment was genuine.

We then received from Lastminute a 'Sorry we couldn't process your booking - please wait' email.

Some hours later we received an email stating that the booking had in fact been refused, and that all payments would be returned in a few days. No reason was given. Huh - an interest free loan for a couple of days.
I then checked my Lastminute account and greyed out were the booking details, with a cryptic message "Unable to confirm your booking." There was no mention of a refund of monies paid.

A few days later I checked my bank account. The payment had been made to Lastminute in full, but two days after the cancellation.

Clearly Lastminute had allowed that payment to proceed even though they knew that the booking had been refused. That is outright fraud.

I then checked the booking details on my Lastminute account, and the time taken for a repayment was now stated as being up to 10 days or longer. That's an interest free loan on £2,500 for 10 days on a booking known to be refused.

That is outright fraud.

Of course there is no way to contact Lastminute except by an expensive premium rate phone call.

DO NOT TOUCH WITH THE PROVERBIAL BARGEPOLE. They show a "final price, incl. Taxes and fees" then promptly add another substantial amount, without notice, WHEN YOU HAVE PRESSED PAY. Apalling! If you manage to contact laughingly called "customer service" they will1)put the phone down on you or 2) treat you with utter contempt. Simple, you pay way over the odds to be treated with contempt!

Tip for consumers:
Contemplate this. Apparently both the C.E.O. and Chief operating officer have both been in custody for months in Switzerland for alleged corruption!! How good is that!

If i could use negative stars I would. Our flights were cancelled, by the airline, as were all their flights out of Glasgow.
This was due to corona and the restrictions applied to UK citizens into USA, as a result.
I tried to contact Lastminute and they made it impossible, their "customer service" lines were only playing recorded messages and there was no response to any emails, even those sent to their Italian Directors.
This was a package holiday and therefore entitled us to full refund within 14 days, per the Package Travel Regulations.
Their website cancellation process involves you requesting a quotation for cancellation, not allowing for full refund per the law.
I eventually found a working phone number and they refuse to give you any details, any supervisor contact and just keep reiterating that we would receive an email shortly with a quote.
The regulations are clear that the contract is between me and them and they are responsible for my refund, they refuse to acknowledge this and keep stating that they need to get the money back from their suppliers first and this could take months!
They are dishonest to the point of fraudulent behaviour, and i have reported them to the CAA querying their suitability for ATOL certification, given ATOL certification gives people false confidence in these people.
I am now waiting to hear back from credit card company to pursue a ‘chargeback' claim.
Do not, under any circumstances, trust this company with your money, they will not honour the law, let alone their ATOL certification and, if anything goes wrong you're on your own!

Tip for consumers:
Completely untrustworthy when things go wrong, if you want to throw your money away and spend months trying to get it back, this is the company for you. Best advice - avoid them like the plague
