I booked a trip to Budapest for me and my wife to stay at the 5 star InterContinental Hotel and it went very smooth and no problems whatsoever. They were far cheaper than any other company and I would recommend lastminute.com 100%
I am very disappointed with how long it takes to get things done. It feels like I've been taken hostage by Lastminute.com. The hotel I selected was shown as available online, yet the agent's email response says otherwise. I was also misled by a previous agent who assured me I would receive a call, but no one contacted me. This is extremely poor customer service. Your web chat agents are unhelpfully cold and robotic; it felt like I was speaking to a chatbot. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was denied. Changing this trip has become an incredibly stressful experience, and I'm regretting using your service.
Stay away from this company, l bought a FLEXIBLE ticket from them, and when I was trying to change my itinerary, they don't allow me so I canceled and then they promise to give me a refund in two months and never happen.

I booked my weekend package 1 month before travelling and I spent time looking for the right hotel in the right location. I was informed less than 1 week before travelling that the hotel I chose was overbooked and I was the lucky one dislodged to another hotel with a complete different location and, according to the pictures, not the same standing. I had picked a quiet area for my hotel. The new hotel was absolutely not in a quiet area, it was near a big train/metro/tram/bus station. The room was on the street side and it was really noisy. We had dust allergy reaction every time we will enter the room. The shower wire was leaking. They did the vacuum cleaner on Saturday morning around 8:30 am. I paid for the package 850£ and I only received a compensation of 60£ for the inconvenience. It's ridiculous as I had to phone them multiple time to have this compensation and paid extra every time I would contact them! I am so disappointed! Don't recommend them at all. There is no added value to use their service, just extra money!
Stayed here for a couple of days in March. The hotel is situated on one of the canals right in the city centre. It's about an 8 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal station and seconds from all the bars, restaurants and shops.
The room was bare and very basic. The window was tiny and frosted so barely let in any light. It had aircon and heating so could adjust accordingly. Little things made it less enjoyable - floors were filthy and you didn't want to look under the bed. We actually went to primark (10 min walk away) to buy slippers.
The bedside lamp didn't work, TV was hanging off the wall and a suspicious hole in the wall had been covered up using tin foil. It wasn't a disaster but wasn't at all what we were expecting.
We paid an extra 15 per person per night for breakfast next door at Molly Malone's; it was awful. Budget cereals, plastic cheese slices and loaves of bread, and eggs and bacon sitting in a hot plate. In the minutes before 10am these are taken away, door closed and coffee and orange juice machines switched off. The servers were not at all friendly and it felt as though they really resented offering breakfast. Definitely not worth the extra money - there are plenty of places to eat locally that are well worth the 15.
On the plus side, the shower was really nice and I found beds really comfortable, although I do like a hard bed.
Eware of this website - I tried purchasing a KLM ticket on the website and was informed that my transaction did not go through because the ticket price had gone up. I was then provided with a revised quote that was ~35% higher than the initial quote.
Irritated by the suggestion, I proceeded to close the page and went in search for the same ticket on another website. I found the ticket elsewhere at a reasonable price and made the purchase - the transaction went through and I had no issues (there was no repricing!). After purchasing the ticket, I decided to check my Amex card to make sure the transaction went through only to realize lastminute.com had charged me despite telling me the transaction did not go through!
I immediately called them to explain what happened and was treated as though I was crazy despite the fact that this was all their fault. Logically speaking - why would I have purchased another ticket at the same price 10 minutes later if the initial transaction had gone through?
I made the complaint and just received an email suggesting that I would only be receiving ~25% of the total amount of the ticket which is just ridiculous and totally unacceptable.
I plan to aggressively fight what I deem to be a fraudulent act by the Company but figured it would be best to warn all out there to be extremely careful and completely abstain from booking with this company (there are way more reliable options out there) - If you still decide to make a purchase on here - tread cautiously and know that you were forewarned.
24/3/2020. Had to cancel a trip due to travel restrictions from Covid19. They didn't even acknowledge my request! A holding e-mail came back and since then, silence! Needless to say I lost all my money. Disgraceful way to treat customers. I'll never use this shower again and I recommend that everyone reading this takes heed of my misfortune... Update 13/4/2020:- After 6 written messages and a phone call to customer care & I still only have platitudes and holding messages - nobody has addressed the problem. Today, their "care" team hung up the phone without even waiting for me to ask my question - Atrocious! I'm taking this to all the relevant regulators this week - and they better believe that I have both the time and the patience to see this through to the end... Additional Update 18/5/2020:- after reporting them to the ECC and initiating a chargeback on my credit card, I finally got an offer of "Travel Credit" for the full amount - presumably this is the Government guaranteed scheme introduced last month. I still don't recommend Lastminute.com - they stonewalled and therefore forced me to fight like a tinker to get satisfaction! Appalling way to deal with people! Final Update 2/9/2020:- Credit finally arrived... glad to have it. They need to do some serious work with their customer service dept...
Spent 3 hours trying to buy tickets with continued error messages not allowing me to buy the tickets and my cc company thinking my card had been stolen..., 1 hour on the phone, OVERSEES, with them, and transferred repeatedly from one person to the next where they told me I would have to pay $200 more per person per ticket! That the tickets online didn't exist (mind you, I'd used 2 different computers to search), and then transferred to a "Manager" who said that I would not be permitted to even buy a ticket with them on the phone or online or any other way, as the
Security team" had put hold on my account as they couldn't verify my info. I asked which info? They said "All of it!" I said how can that be when that's my name, the name on my passport, the name on my credit cards, and I used 2 different credit cards! He told me to call and airline and book with them.

Nightmare spent months trying to get a refund for a booked shuttle service from the air port in Hong Kong to the hotel and back again Last min said we got on the wrong transport so we were liable for the extra charge Point 1 the desk at the airport had our names flight times hotel staying at yet the company still fought tooth making it hard to contact not replying to emails phone calls stretching it out over months causing nothing but stress all over a pittance about £30. It wasn't about the money but the principle of paying for a service then charged twice My advice don't expect a good service not even third class also as my wife is disabled we arranged for wheelchair assistance but that was lacking and at Manchester if I hadn't carried her to the plane we would have missed the flight the same sought of assistance was missing at Dubai and Hong Kong forget them also if you require assistance on your holiday couldn't contact them on numbers given so all in all a nightmare.
Last minute decided to amend our flights 5 days into our trip.
We had flights booked from 27th feb- 7th March.
Was told we had to arrive 1 day early for the return flight from Seoul to Vietnam and then wait 26 hours in the airport, then get on the original flight we booked in the first place, What utter rubbish!
This company is a complete joke and a con.
Absolutely no way the original flight was full. This is obviously set up to swindle customers. The flights were confirmed in the first place then they conveniently changed the return flights and offered a part refund according to there terms! A joke. Should be shut down as they are blatantly scamming people.
They didn't even send the confirmation email for the flights in the first place to the email we gave them. We had to create an account and then the flights were in the account. No email telling us this! Nothing! What a joke. Not only that they don't even have a mailing address. You need to call them.

Will never use again after this experience! I booked a surprise holiday for my fiancé and even ensured the booking was all secured by calling up after the reservation. I had no issues with the flight and arriving to the destination however once arrived to the resort I was told there was no booking for us! We were told they had never heard of Lastminute.com as they receive there bookings from an intermediary we had no idea who this intermediary is! We were unable to get hold of Lastminute.com as they kept hanging up/disconnecting and eventually when we did they were useless! The kept saying the booking was confirmed and there is no issue when clearly it wasn't, they were reluctant to speak to the hotel staff and were very rude and unhelpful. This was extremely embarrassing for us as we waited over 3 hours to try to get a room on the phone to last minute.com! I had planned a surprise activity and dinner for my Fiancé's birthday and in return was unable to amend this so lost my money here! The hotel manager then said he would give us a room for our stay until they sort this out however we needed to pay for this! I am still awaiting Lastminute to contact me, they have ruined our holiday and stressed us out where this was suppose to be relaxing and hassle free!

My experience of lastminute.com has been nothing but a cause of stress and anxiety.
I was unable to fly on my outgoing flight and lastminute.com did not allow me to cancel my flight. I travelled using expedia to my destination thinking that I would still be able to use my lastminute flight home from my destination. However, since the booking was already happening I was unable to make any changes to it, including adding luggage and seat selection etc. In addition, the information and PNR number they gave me for my flight did not correspond with the actual airlines records, therefore I was not able to log in to make changes to my flight via the airline.
When I called the customer service number they were very unhelpful. The woman said she could not work out why the information would not work on the airlines sights. She put me on hold 3 times. I asked to stay on the line as each time she put me on hold it took a while for her to get back to me. She proceeded to put me on hold and after the third time, she said she could not hear me. She then hung up the phone, leaving my issue completely unresolved.
I booked flights for next week through lastminute.com via skyscanner and everything seemed the be straight forward. My payment was accepted and I waited for my receipts to arrive. That is when I was sent a "your booking is processing" email that said they would let me know when it had processed. 4 hours later I still had not received confirmation so called up the customer care who said I would receive it within 24 hours. It was while on this phone call that I discovered they had added insurance onto my booking without my permission. I asked them to remove it as I did not ask for nor need it. 24 hours late still no confirmation so called back and they said I would receive it within the next 2 hours. I then received an email to say my booking had been cancelled! Went back onto skyscanner and the cheapest tickets were now £50 quid more expensive that what I had originally paid and the flights with lastminute.com that I had booked are now over £100 more. When I called the team up I had a very unhelpful customer care team provider who simply told me that it wasn't lastminute's problem but one of the airlines. These flights shouldn't be made available (and according to skyscanner they are still available) if lastminute aren't able to fulfill. I am shocked by the service I received from last minute and will not be using them again.
Worst experience I've ever had booking with last minute. I booked a holiday for me and my friend months ago for 6th September. I did not receive one email about anything during the COVID pandemic and later found out that the airline I was meant to travel with had actually gone bankrupt. I checked my last minute account and it said everything was still booked and even the option to "book luggage". I called up and they told me what I already knew and that they would file a "claim" for my money and that I didn't have to do anything else. I asked if my hotel was still ok and they said yes. So I booked a flight from easyJet and arrived in Amsterdam.
I got to my hotel, only for them to tell me that LastMinute had cancelled my hotel even though I never told them to, last minute had actually told me it was not possible to cancel my trip but could try and amend the date if I wanted to.
I paid for a full trip with last minute only to have to repay again and book everything separately last minute.
The service on the phone was appalling, they didn't care that they left us stranded in another country. They gave us no help and no guidance on what to do.
I will never book with them ever again and I hope it's enough to say you shouldn't either.
Last minute are yet to contact me and send me emails like they said they would. I will be sending the same review on every site so people will not have to experience the violation I did.

Booked a holiday on Thursday 17th August 2017 but had not been given confirmation of the booking. We called up on Saturday and they had said we should be receiving the confirmation within 24 hours. We called back on Monday for LastMinute.com to then tell us their was a problem with our flights and that they would be sorting it.
Again there was no response nor confirmation. We called again the day after for them to say their were no hotel rooms left.
They offered a replacement hotel for another £800 extra. Obviously we were not willing to pay and have sent them 4-5 other bookings that matched our original booking and still, no sign of any help, response or confirmation.
Every time we call up, they say that a manager will call back within 3 hours - There is never a callback! We are doing the chasing, and nothing is getting done.
We are left not knowing if we have seats on a flight, we know we don't have a hotel, yet we have paid full price for a holiday that now doesn't even exist. We don't know what to do. If we cancel, they say we will not get a full refund, so we would have given last minute.com money to mess up a booking.
We have asked for all phone recordings to be sent to my email, but they said they can't confirm we will recieve all recordings.

We never wanted to go with this website but weren't left with a choice when they were the chosen vendors of this voucher I had won. We booked a holiday and were told about a hotel and that it was cost us extra money to book it. The hotel looked lovely and when we checked the nightly rate we realised that the extra amount was justified so decided to pay up. We were charged the amount and later sent the confirmation email only to realise that the hotel they booked was TOTALLY different from the one discussed on the phone and in fact considerably cheaper! If we would have booked the flights and hotel (that they booked us on) on our own then it would have definitely been within the Voucher! They scammed us with the extra money!
We have been trying to contact them and it is impossible to reach anyone! Their customer service is the absolute worst I have experienced! I am shocked that such a company even exists!

Lastminute.ripoff.com well there you go, yet another company who couldn't care less about their customers. If you are about to book with them because you've seen a great price advertised and you then find out when you've paid that there are EXTRA hidden costs, then don't be supprised. The rate you see is not the rate you will pay, they add on obscure costs that not even their own (outsourced) call centers can explain. I called twice and was deliberately cut off twice. I had a real good laugh when you go to their 'About Us' page where me, the customer is at the center of their business model LOL. IF YOU ARE HAPPY TO LOSE MONEY, IF YOU ARE HAPPY TO PAY MORE THAN THE ADVERTISED RATE, THEN THEY ARE WAITING FOR YOUR BUSINESS. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
We had a great trip to Dublin. Well place hotel at a good price. The Dublin hop on/hop off (green ones) were great fun. Teeling Distillery is a good visit.
Made us pay for a bag we didn't get. Unhelpful in the chatt. Booked each of us seperetly so that we could not sit nect to each other without paying extra.

Absolutely disgusting agent. Substantial money was paid for flight (direct BA) and hotel. At the time I need to do the online check-in I have not been sent the passenger number from lastminute. Many calls back they keep saying it will be sorted and fine and sent to me within an hour so I have to call back a total of 7 times. The next morning I get An email from them at 8am that they have cancelled my reservation for the flight 12.40 that day. I call them and they say the hotel is not refundable and that they hadn't booked me onto the flight and that I didn't have a seat on the flight even though they had taken my money. They were rude and not caring and never apologised and claimed that they had tried to call me many times ahead of this email (which was untrue). I have lost a lot of money and had my holiday plans ruined at the last minute (maybe that is why it has this name). Wish I had read one of these reviews before using it really ruined my holiday and left me hugely out of pocket.

I booked a flight via their portal and added some luggage on top. I paid a lot for additional baggage but in the end I didn't get what I booked and paid for. When I was at the airport they told me I don't have additional check in luggage included in my ticket so I had to purchase at the airport. What I paid for last minute was hand luggage! Who is asking to pay for habd luggage? I called the customer service and they said yes, I booked and paid for hand luggage so be I can bring 10 kg of hand luggage but no check in luggage. They were very unfriendly and not helpful. I wrote a big letter a few weeks later with the claim that I would like to have my money back because I paid for luggage which I didnt need (hand luggage is always included). They said sorry but I could have read the little terms and conditions where it says if you want hand luggage you have to pay extra! I dont get it. Never again. Unfriendly and they try to make money with small things! Not recommended, there are better booking portals.
Last Minute provided the wrong flight then charged us for our cancellation. When we called in to fix the problem, they told us they couldn't refund us the rest of our money because they couldn't track our steps to find out if it was their mistake. When we called the second time, it was because we had somehow bought insurance and used the insurance on the cancellation. When I asked how that's reasonable, given the fact it was their mistake to begin with, they weren't sure and told us they would call back. When we called in the THIRD time they came up with a completely different reason, some sort of protocol and said it was absolutely impossible to give us back the money we were owed.
Last Minute is a scammy company with unethical business practices. This process took a week of back-and-forth and hours upon hours of dealing with representatives who were clearly making up the rules as they went. They stole my family's time and money and I highly urge anyone else looking to work with them, to choose another company, for your own sake.
