I booked a trip to Budapest for me and my wife to stay at the 5 star InterContinental Hotel and it went very smooth and no problems whatsoever. They were far cheaper than any other company and I would recommend lastminute.com 100%
I am very disappointed with how long it takes to get things done. It feels like I've been taken hostage by Lastminute.com. The hotel I selected was shown as available online, yet the agent's email response says otherwise. I was also misled by a previous agent who assured me I would receive a call, but no one contacted me. This is extremely poor customer service. Your web chat agents are unhelpfully cold and robotic; it felt like I was speaking to a chatbot. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was denied. Changing this trip has become an incredibly stressful experience, and I'm regretting using your service.
I booked my flights and car hire through lastminute.com - but i don't understand what the benefit of this was.
Any query or question i asked they said 'ask the airline or ask the carhire company.- absolutely no help at all.

The hoilday was good but ryanair cancelled our flight out and still not had a refund from them so had to book an other flight out what cost me a lot more money but still no refund from ryanair wen they said it would be with in 7 days and uta now been 3 weeks thanks
Don't trust this Company! I've booked flights and hotel through them. It took them more than 48 hours to confirm flights... I had to call them 3 times and then finally they said only No, sorry. No attempt for resolutin or alternative offer, nothing!... Meanwhile prices for flights have gone up... So I have just lost money and time. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy! Don't use them.
... Lastminute.com has to be the worst for after sales service. I'm a seasoned traveller and feel the need to warn others. Expect nothing and you will not be disappointed. Likely heading for admin soon.
I have reported to trading standards as their website uses a scam whereby you agree to terms and conditions to book your flights and they charge you hundreds of pounds for insurance that you never wanted. Even if you tick the 'no insurance' box, once you tick the final terms and conditions box, your insurance is added back on without you realising. There is no final amount shown and no further warning you have agreed to insurance do the first you'll see it is when you check your bank account. Then face chasing it up to get it back. This company went totally into scam status once bravofly bought it out. PLEASE BE WARNED.
A truly nasty company that should be avoided at all costs.
If you purchase the cover for cancellation, it's a con, you will still be charged the full price of the holiday. If you try to cancel they'll pretend you never did, say you defaulted on your payment and threaten to take you to court. They will then take small payments out of your account without any contact with you until its empty and demand the rest with 10 days notice.
Then when you try to make the payment of the final bill you'll be run from pillar to post with rude call centres, lied to and hung up on. They also continently don't have a complaints department.

Let me explain to everyone how they still have success in scamming so much folks.
First you pay for something might even not be available as you can't check, then you got 12 hours to call them and cancel but they will not pick up as they have your phone number in their system, if you call from a different phone they will ask for the phone number you mad the order and then will hang up on you.
Second, after 12 hours they already did book hotels flights and you can't cancel any longer however they can't proof any bookings.
And only at the end when they should refund you they tell you that in their policy is stated that you are not eligible for a refund.
Good I didn't pay full price list £500.

How can I have no terminal information and between them and vueling say its for me to go airport and see. How? North or south? Why do I need to call to ask for terminal details it should be there. I planned care for my kids too for 1st time in a long time. Devastated! So no flying for me even though I was still there at 6am and flight was 6.50 but left 7am.
I cant even get a refund so I can book again
This company is such a joke. I couldn't find where to add my voucher because they refund my flight cancellation in voucher. I have photo to prove that they have no add voucher section. When i tried to buy from one of their sale team by online chat, i tried to sell me the same ticket and add on luggage for higher price than the website if i book myself.
Nightmare upon checking out. Lastminute has taken the money from us and not paid the hotel. Response from customer service is that they can't help but a manager will call me. No call. We were just left in the hotel reception having to pay for the room twice. DO NOT USE LASTMINUTE - you will regret it.
It has been over an yeas since i booked a flight with them and i still have not received my refund. This company is pure crap, giving them 1 star feels like giving them a prize. It should be -1000. Hi, i know that is difficult to understand the customer service in this difficult times, when they ask you to wait for your money. It was difficult even for me to belive this. Is true sometimes it takes a little bit longer than usual to receive the refund but at the end i received my funds with a bank wire. Thank you for keeping your word and i hope that the circumstances will be better for us to travel again.
After attempting to book a holiday for more than a week, calling there premium rate numbers and getting absolute no where, I was told there was nothing they could do because they couldn't not recognize the problem i was having. Negating all responsibility!

We bought tickets for December from Finland to Spain. They called us a few days later to say that we needed to pay an extra 60 euros. They did it over the phone. I asked them to send it to me in writing and to tell me the name of the person speaking. Nothing, they told me they couldn't do either. They called again on the phone and said they would cancel the reservation if we didn't pay the price difference, which was 60 euros. They refused to send it in writing or to disclose the name of the person speaking. A few minutes later, the flight was canceled. It's very suspicious, to be honest. This will be the last time I'm tempted to buy anything from them.
Booked a Holiday in Berlin with Lastminute.Com they provided the Shuttle Transfer service from the Airport to the Hotel this is want you get Taxi to pick us up at airport over 1/2 hour late.
Taxi to pick us up at Hotel, never turned up, also unable to contact Shuttle Service on phone numbers provided or Lastminute. Com.
It cost me 50 euros for a taxi to get to Airport.
After 4weeks of requesting Last minute to refund the taxi fare still will not accept they were at fault.
Please if you are thinking of using Lastminute don't save yourself a lot of hassle and save your money.
There were wrong information about the hotel in their website or they lied about it. It is my second times that they did to me. I filled for refund. After few weeks they emailed me back that we need to call you and ask you some question on phone! I left my tel number. Repeatedly they were lying that they called me but I never responded!
How could they lie like this!? If I do not answer, I get miss call! I asked they can give me your number instead. Thus, I can call them. But they never responded me back! They are scam!

This is not written in any place in the website that there is agency commission with 45% of the flight ticket price!

Lastminute.com great marketing but abysmal customer care, follow up, integrity, internal communication, inadequate follow up. Overall shocking... 21st century version of the Highwaymen! They will rob you and they leave you dieing on the side of a road if they can get away with it. The company is amoral.

For a site that markets itself as last minute deals it should not take 72 hours to get a reply on changing hotel dates especially when the hotel has agreed to change the dates. Spent 3 hours in total on hold to be hung up on!
I would give zero if I could. Booked a flight which got cancelled due to the BA strike. Called last minute I believe 5 times regarding this. I asked for a full refund but I discovered that to get a full refund I need to get it via a voucher. If I want cash they deduct a 30 euro handling feel. Which is against their T&Cs! How comes they do not need handling fees for a voucher?! This is ripping off people. Today I just gave up and ask for cash back at least but I will follow this up and make a formal complaint. They never called me back after promising to discuss this and each customer service assistant makes up something else. And they also charge for the call. It is absolutely ridiculous. Never again!
Booked two flights ( was canceled) but no one has informed me on their website everything is perfect but when I have contacted the airline company ( luck) they have told me that the flight was canceled and I should have already been informed by the agency.

It was easy to book through Last minute. Absolutely no problem there and checking in on line simple. Until I got to Southampton air port. I had a hand luggage so no need to check a bag in. The flybe assistant said to check my bag in because the wheels didn't fit in the box. Ok done that (no charge). On return flight had to check bag in and got charged £30. Waiting to board the plane and other passengers had huge hand luggage and were allowed to take them on board. I only took a hand luggage for no more expense.
Be very careful booking with Lastminute. We choose to pay the extra FullyFlex (fully flexible tickets) option for our flights to the USA given we were unsure regards the Covid situation. As the Covid situation in the US became clear that we would not be allowed entry we made a request on cancellation or changing our dates to next year. Lastminute simply informed us that a cancellation request had been made and we would only be offered approximately 50% of the flight costs. We sent multiple messages saying explaining that we purchased the FullyFlex in case this sort of thing occurred, and that we wanted to move the flights if a full refund was not available. They simply replied that cancellation had been made and 50% was all we could claim. Bad customer service, and a total con. Do not book with LastMinute and definitely do not pay extra charges for something that is not what is advertised.
