I booked a trip to Budapest for me and my wife to stay at the 5 star InterContinental Hotel and it went very smooth and no problems whatsoever. They were far cheaper than any other company and I would recommend lastminute.com 100%
I am very disappointed with how long it takes to get things done. It feels like I've been taken hostage by Lastminute.com. The hotel I selected was shown as available online, yet the agent's email response says otherwise. I was also misled by a previous agent who assured me I would receive a call, but no one contacted me. This is extremely poor customer service. Your web chat agents are unhelpfully cold and robotic; it felt like I was speaking to a chatbot. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was denied. Changing this trip has become an incredibly stressful experience, and I'm regretting using your service.
The company block your money and doesn't issue the tickets tickets till 72 hours. Very unprofessional

I should have known better, but I was lulled into complacency as I have used Booking.com many times and didn't realize that Lastminute.com was handling their package deals till I had already booked.
Long story short, 4 days before our trip my wife came down with Covid, but they told me we cannot change our itinerary as the hotel does not allow any changes, so we cannot change the flights either.
Since we could not travel, I elected to cancel the booking, thinking that we would face some penalties (buried deep in their terms in conditions of course). We paid about 1,600 EUR for our 1-week stay in Rome. And when we finally got our refund, it was for... wait for it... 58 GBP.
WE LOST OVER 95% OF OUR MONEY DUE TO CANCELLATION FEES, AND THEY CLAIMED THAT THESE WERE DUE TO THE AIRLINES AND HOTEL POLICIES, AND OUT OF THEIR HANDS. THEY ALSO TOLD US THEY DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY, IT WAS PAID TO THE AIRLINES/HOTELS, AND THE HOTEL HAS ALREADY DENOUNCED THAT AS A LIE.
So we got completely screwed over, and while we could spend the next few weeks battling by phone and email, it is very clear they are used to complaints and will stonewall you over and over, so I don't think it's worth it. At this point, we'll cut our losses and give up, but rest assured we will NEVER USE THESE CROOKS AGAIN.

Ut quite simply do not ever ever book with this company. I submitted my complaint about many issues with my holiday and even though their policy states that they will take a maximum' of 28 days to deal with your complaint, it took them a total of 87 days to finally offer me a small refund which was no where enough what I deserved and was entitled to. I couldn't possibly tell you how many emails and phone calls I have made - it is beyond belief. Every email was some moron saying it had been sent to the complaints team and being dealt with which was a complete lie as the person from complaints didn't contact me to say they were starting to make contact with the third party companies involved' until a few weeks ago. Kept repeatedly phoning me at work when I told them so many times when I was free. On the phone, the advisers sounded drunk and intoxicated and kept changing their mind on the breakdown of my holiday payment. One advisor was aggressive and angry in their tone and was extremely unhelpful. Couldn't understand what they were saying half the time due to their foreign accent. The refund I have been offered (no idea when I will actually receive it! Probably another 87 days judging what other people have said in here!). Apparently they had lots of complaints it deal with over the summer months (I wonder why?!) and that that is the reason it took so long and that £75 is an acceptable amount to refund me! Never mind the lies and stress they have put me through. Tried to blame me that because I didn't contact them during my holiday that there's much they can do - well excuse me for trying to enjoy my 30th birthday on holiday. Plus, again, judging by what others have said in here, calling them whilst being away doesn't pay so well either.
Absolute scum! Please don't buy from them they will screw you over. As others have said, I would gladly give them no stars if it was possible.
Would be nice to be able to book hold luggage for one way only as was not required on outbound flight

Without elaborating in to to much detail, and boring you to death, I'll summarise: booked an holiday with lastminute.com, the holiday never materialised and neither did all the excursion I planned around the holiday, due to this company, which left us ridiculously out of pocket, not to mention hours of phone calls, to foreign advisors who barely speak our language and just repeat themselves time after time! And so after reading all the other reviews unfortunately after the event, I see I'm in a long line of disappointed customers who fell foul to these charlatans.
So after several hours of extensive researching the success rate of your holiday going along without a hitch 70/30 out of your favour, "SO YOU NEED TO ASK YOURSELF" all tho it seems like a cheap holiday at the time is it really worth the risk, to feel like we do when things go wrong, my partner as been brought to tears, and our savings up the swanny without such a bye or leave and no holiday to show for it, so please heed my words and DO NOT TAKE THE RISK OF USING THIS COMPANY, you will be threating all the way through it... and I bet they reply straight away to this, unlike our emails

Booked a Hotel in Las Vegas with this bunch of "unprofessional morons"!
Due to COVID and Uk / US restrictions my flight to Las Vegas was cancelled - I tried emailing /phoning / writing to LM.com to get refund!
Their response was Zero Communication with me?
I wrote to ABTA and explained that Due to restrictions / cancellation I was unable to fly and therefore unable to check in to Hotel!
Bottom line:
Out of £400 LM charged me a cancellation fee of £365?
ABTA did nothing saying that I could go to Ombudsman/ small court and pay £200 with no guarantee that I would win?
What kind of Travel Company is condoned in the UK by ABTA and what kind of immoral scumbags are allowed to conn people out of hard earned money during a Pandemic and get away with it?
Last Minute are a disgraceful organisation and should have their licence removed but they won't be because no one will pursue all the Complaints about their practice and actually get off their pontificating arses and deal with these $#*!bags!
Until now I have not received my refund for a flight to berlin on 1st of may, canceled due to covid-19. There is no email to contact neither.
The worst travel package booking app ever. They sold me a travel package to Porto Seguro - Bahia - Brazil where the flight and accommodation were included. After landing at Ilhéus airport I discovered that the hotel was 400km away from the airport (5 hours by car or 6 hours by bus). When I contacted customer service to ask for a refund for the hotel, as I was at Ilhéus airport without knowing what to do, they informed me that they couldn't do anything because I should have checked the distance between the airport and the hotel beforehand. What I can't understand is how they sell a travel package where I would have to travel 6 hours on a bus to get to the hotel. They also said that they always try to offer airports closer to hotels in tourist packages, but this is a big lie because Porto Seguro has an airport. I had to pay for another hotel in Ilhéus and lost what I paid for the hotel in Porto Seguro. I tried to do another simulation in the package app for Porto Seguro and the app only shows hotels in Porto Seguro, but with flights landing in Iheus as an option and does not show hotels in Ilhéus. Because of this, I definitely do not recommend this app. On the contrary, I recommend that you avoid buying travel packages through it so that you don't have a huge loss in the end.

Only giving this company 1 star because it doesn't let you give them zero. From the beginning I regretted booking my flights through this company. The website operates so slow and I constantly got error messages when trying to head over to the manage my booking section.
I wanted to access this section to book my seats as it was a long flight to Canada, however the option was 'greyed' out saying I couldn't book seats and would have to call customer services to do so. After being on hold for 40 minutes I gave up and so failed to secure seats. I overlooked this inconvenience though as at least I had flights booked.
I then received an email from lastminute explaining one of my flights had been changed and my itinerary was no longer valid. After seeing that one of my flights had essentially been cancelled and I would have to plan a whole new trip which last minute offered no help with, I decided to cancel the flight and book with a better company.
I expected to see some charges for my cancellation such as an admin fee, but I paid £850 for my flights and was offered £171 as a refund. Absolutely disgusting. Actual robbery. How can there be any justification for keeping that amount of my money? The flights aren't until Feb 2023 so not exactly a last minute cancellation and it was because my itinerary was no longer valid! Lastminute offered no help other than repeating how it was out of their hands as they're just a third party seller. Really poor service.
I threatened to complain to the relevant ADRs and the CAA which I'm now in the process of doing and all of a sudden they changed their tune saying they would review the case and get back to me in 7 days. I've even got in touch with Rip Off Britain! However, I've had nothing back from them other than a repeat of the ridiculous refund offer which I will not accept.
Really, really disappointed that businesses can just take so much money from people despite them being the ones who have breached the contract of sale and offer zero help whatsoever.

I'm writing this review to inform people of the customer services refund policy when booking hotels, please read before booking. I booked a hotel stay to stay in a European hotel 8 months before we were due to checkin
Normally the money is debited from your card when you checkin to the hotel, NOT with lastminute.com, they took the £1350 straight away without informing us that they would do so. I then cancel the booking 24-hours later, the hotel were happy with the cancellation and confirm they had not taken any money for the booking. But lastminute.com said they would take up to 2 months to return the full amount to my credit card, this made my life pretty hard because it meant that I had to pay £1,350 to my credit card and then 2 months later get a credit back for £1,350 which makes no sense or I could leave the card at the balance of - £1,350 and pay interest on it for the next 2 months. Fortunately after hours of phone calls between last minute.com and my credit card provider I was able to get my credit card to agree to freeze the interest for 2 months, but after the 2 months they said I would need to pay the full amount if last minute still haven't refunded the money. So I'm now relying on lastminute.com to keep their word and return the money as it is now approaching the 6th week.
So please be aware that last minute.com will take your money immediately but take 2 months to return it. I have since booked another hotel through another travel agent and the hotel has confirmed the booking and said they will take receipt of the money when I check-in, which is how business should be done. Once bitten twice shy I shall never use last minute.com again.

TERRIBLE service, never choose full flex its like wasting your money. As they dont actually refund 90% of the ticket amount which they claim to will.
My flight is in a month, I payed for a flexible trip and they still won't let me modify my dates. Customer care just won't anwer. Disgusting.

We were supposed to fly with BA on Friday 22/9/23,24hours before our flight we were told the flight was cancelled. We were told our new flight was on Saturday 23/9/23. We were told to book hotel reservations, there was none,as Rome was having a bike show at the weekend. We couldn't get in touch with last minute. Com, so we felt abandoned in a foreign city.
We have to go back to hotel and try and get home as we had a 17year old son at home.
My wife and the hotel receptionist had to phone BA emergency number, to be told the flight hadn't been cancelled, we were not booked onto the flight.
My wife and receptionist had to book us on a flight at 8am in the morning as other flight was fully booked.
When we contacted last minute. Com. We were lied too and said flight was cancelled, we also went on BA website and it said flight went ahead.
We booked the trip in May so wasn't even a last minute booking.
When customers care phone us they were blaming us for changing our flight, after they said they had booked them.
We lost a full day off our holiday, and they offered us to reimburse our breakfast.
No point making a complaint as the customer care is useless, just like the company.
