I booked a trip to Budapest for me and my wife to stay at the 5 star InterContinental Hotel and it went very smooth and no problems whatsoever. They were far cheaper than any other company and I would recommend lastminute.com 100%
I am very disappointed with how long it takes to get things done. It feels like I've been taken hostage by Lastminute.com. The hotel I selected was shown as available online, yet the agent's email response says otherwise. I was also misled by a previous agent who assured me I would receive a call, but no one contacted me. This is extremely poor customer service. Your web chat agents are unhelpfully cold and robotic; it felt like I was speaking to a chatbot. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was denied. Changing this trip has become an incredibly stressful experience, and I'm regretting using your service.
Don't book with lastminute.com. I feel so cheated.
I booked a ticket online. Shortly after I get a message saying that my ticket is cancelled with no guarantee of refund. Seriously? I contact customer service and they don't even update me on the situation and only start following up much later. Wait there is more - as time passes I get tired of waiting for the airline refund and ask for the insurance voucher which I had paid for, only for them to tell me it's TOO LATE to request the voucher! Omg! Such cheaters! I'm never booking with lastminute.com again will not recommend it to anyone.
I have had a horrific experience with last minute.com and please urge anyone reading this never to use them. The airline cancelled my flights twice. The first incident took 3 months to resolve to get transferred. The second cancellation - just two weeks before travel was not felt with in time even though the airline were happy to change. They would not contact the airline to discuss the booking. As a result I am having to travel three days earlier and sleep with five young children on the floor of the airport. It's a shocking horrendous experience.

Never try this site ever. We made huge mistake booking flight with lastminute.com. When we booked they right away charged us with no confirmation. I tried to talk to one of their customer service numbers but none of them worked. I felt unsafe with this site try to cancel our tickets but no access to anywhere. Finally through mastercard I could find one of their number in US and despite of paying extra for free cancellation they took more than 30% of our money in refund under their so called terms and conditions which they know nobody understand their details. You need to be a lawyer to get all their hidden and none hidden rules and this way they take disadvantage of regular people like us.
Avoid this site at all costs! There was a glitch in the system and they charged me for a booking that was not authorized. My credit card was charged and I tried disputing the charge. After I started the dispute process, I got a weird email saying "we are writing to inform you that regretfully due to a system check your reservation with booking ID ********* had to be cancelled. Please note that we have refunded the total amount back onto the same method of payment used at the time of booking".
I've inquired multiple times to get this resolved and they give me the run around and I still have not received a refund and its been 4 months and counting. I never received any goods from this company but they won't give me my money back that was charged on my credit card.
Scam is the most suitable word for my experience with this agency, I bought fully flexible ticket as needed to travel for family emergency, it said no penalty fees for change or cancellation at any time, after purchase, it turned that I had to buy luggage as well despite being trans- continent flight. Also I had to buy additional package to allow me to contact customer service and avoid what they call handling fees. Unfortunately I needed to change my return flight, after 5 desperate calls and 3 emails, I was offered refund of 22 pounds or change of flight for additional 230 pounds. I have been told different information every time I have called, it did look every single agent was trying to find any hole in the hidden t&c to stop me from change or refund.

By far the worse booking experience I have ever endured. Within 3 days of booking lastminute made no fewer than four significant changes to the booking. I spent literally hours on the telephone speaking to agents who either lied repeatedly or were incompetent (probably both), sent multiple emails that were ignored (despite the customer service agents who I had spoken to acknowledging receipt), and received multiple promises of returned calls which never happened. Completely shambolic with zero customer service.
Last July we purchased flight tickets through lastminute.com. In October we were informed that the airline went into administration, and we would get a refund within 2 months. Despite several attempts to obtain the refund we only received inconsistent information and empty promises. There has been no communication from their side, no action taken. The interaction with lastminute.com proved to be a total waste of time and it looks like waste of our money too. We strongly believe that lastminute.com have no intention to complete the refund and their approach is to play on time. Do yourself a service and AVOID THEM
They passed you around. No don't bother about " conversation being recorded ". They'll just apologised but you cannot get back lost money from booking your own transport which they messed up and not to mentioned call charges calling your own hotel to make sure they did actually do their job properly
My trip back from Brussels to Copenhagen got cancelled. Not only that I had to find out the cancellation by myself, but last minute failed to deliver an alternative return ticket in 72 hours. They had preliminary placed me on a flight three days after my original flight but were unable to issue a definitive ticket for the alternative return flight, although I phoned them three times. So as a conclusion, just empty promises were made without any action. Last time I use last minute. Their customer service is a pure scam.
This company have taken a payment of over £100 for a service that was not authorised by me. After trying to contact them countless times I have been unsuccessful with receiving an adequate response and explanation. How this has been allowed - I do not know! Absolutely disgraceful conduct from such a well known company.
All phone numbers for lastminute do not allow you to speak to somebody so I have been left out of pocket and very disgusted with these services.
Suggest booking.com instead who are very much more helpful and a delight to converse with.

Flight simply cancelled and forced to sleep with 2 minor children on the Zurich airport floor with not a care from anyone whatsoever. Disgusting. I have pictures of my children lying on the airport floor but won't share it on this site. Suffice to say we will never use Swiss Air or Lastminute.com ever again and I'll tell as many people as I possibly can to do the same. Shocking
I only received the email regarding boarding passes 2 hours before the flight. This service said it would arrive 20 hours before to enable me to print out at my hotel. By the time it eventually arrived, despite reassurances from your local helpline, that it would be available our hold luggage was already booked in and I had to get boarding passes that way. It nearly prevented us being allowed into Hyderabad airport by the armed security.
I have been waiting for more than 8 months for a refund to which Lastminute.com have told me I am entitled because my flight was cancelled. Emails elicit only a computer-generated holding reply, telephone calls are not answered and there is no other way to get in touch with the company. This is not only shameful service, they are dishonestly keeping money which they admit should have been refunded.

Price change on 3 different flights at point of making payment. I was directed there via skyscanner at which point their price was slightly higher than that on skyscanner. This didn't bother me too much so carried on with the purchase. They then, after entering all my details, changed the price by £350 per ticket. Obviously a scam to get you onto their website. I nearly paid the increased price at one point before I realised!
Booked a hotel in Tenerife through the lastminute.com website. The following week I called the hotel to confirm everything was in place only to find they had been closed for 8 months with no reopening date in sight. I tried calling lastminute.com and got an automated message saying they are not taking any calls. I cancelled my booking on their website under their free cancellation policy only to find I am being charged £35 admin fee.
The worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with, terrible customer service if you can even get through to them, insane refund policy if you dare to try to cancel (who wants a voucher? I want my cash back!)

Purchased a 5 star hotel room for one nigh from their secret hotels sections. Arrived at the hotel and was put in a cheaper room than was advertised (what I purchased).
Spoke to their customer services who sounded tired and were not very helpful, said someone would get back to me but have not heard anything.
Turns out Lastminute actually paid the hotel for a cheaper room and kept the change themselves. I wonder how many people this has happened to and if there are people who have not noticed and how many thousands Lastminute is stealing from people every year.
I booked flights for over £500 through last minute.com. The KLM flights were then moved to dates/times we could not make. I requested a full refund on 21st March 2022 and I am still waiting on 6th August 2022. I regularly call them up and get no satisfaction and no money back. Lastminute.com/KLM have had my money since Dec 2021.
I had an awful experience with last minute, the costume service is worst i've ever seen. Every one i talked to on the phone was either, rude, unhelpful, or they just straight up hung up on me. Every single process takes days to work through, it took me THREE DAYS just to confirm a flight change. They are absolutely miserable. I have had a plethora of calls with them and i've only had two good experiences. Even then, no call has ever been less than thirty minutes. I've been on hold for almost 50 minutes one time. I always try to be extremely nice to costumer service workers because they don't always get treated the best but if you're nice they won't do anything for you. The only times i've ever gotten actual help and change was when i was assertive. They are a mess to work with and i highly recommend you avoid them.

Stay away from this Company, they are a scam. Booked with them on Sunday, paid the money on debit card, got email to say it is being processed. Rang Monday, advised still being processed, rang Tuesday advised still being processed, then got an email on Wednesday to say they have cancelled the booking but it would be a 'few days' until they refunded the money? So basically, they advertise flights that don't exist, take your money, hold onto your money, then eventually after a huge amount of stress and chasing they refund your money (still waiting refund of nearly £1000) and in the meantime you lose out on other deals and the price of flights increase. They are little more than fraudsters. I just wish I had read the reviews prior to committing monies with them. STAY AWAY!
Useless rude and completely fraud scam. They gave me a booking without linking it to a flight I can't even check in with absolutely no support and my flight in 3 hours I don't know how they are still operating.

My experience with last minute.com has been worse than dire from start to finish. From an unknown issue with booking our flights that resulted in two weeks of calls to obtain a refund to arriving at our destination to check into our hotel to find a filthy and dilapidated building without proper running water. I am still fighting for a refund two weeks later. Save your money or throw it out of a window. Either option is better than spending it with last minute.com
