I booked a trip to Budapest for me and my wife to stay at the 5 star InterContinental Hotel and it went very smooth and no problems whatsoever. They were far cheaper than any other company and I would recommend lastminute.com 100%
I am very disappointed with how long it takes to get things done. It feels like I've been taken hostage by Lastminute.com. The hotel I selected was shown as available online, yet the agent's email response says otherwise. I was also misled by a previous agent who assured me I would receive a call, but no one contacted me. This is extremely poor customer service. Your web chat agents are unhelpfully cold and robotic; it felt like I was speaking to a chatbot. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was denied. Changing this trip has become an incredibly stressful experience, and I'm regretting using your service.
They are completely useless, my flight have been cancelled just a few hours before it was due, they refused to deal with my ticket making me call at 5 o clock in the morning to canada and vietnam, and I won't get a full refund for my flight. Their email answers were absolutely inconsistent and made the situation worse. Just don't fly anywhere if you wanna book through them.
This is the worst travel site. Do not use it. All they want is your money. Customer service is appalling. I booked a weekend away and needed to change the dates due to a close family wedding. Last minute refused to change the dates and wanted to charge me almost the full price as a cancellation fee. Taking matters into my own hands I contacted both the hotel and airline who were very happy to change dates (airline fees applied). Dealing with LM to get them to confirm the changes was so stressful though. You are dealing with an Indian call centre who are really not interested in doing anything other taking the customer's money. Now the world is in corona virus lock down, LM are still telling me my Easyjet flight is confirmed despite Easyjet having grounded all their planes for the next 2 months. All they say, is that if I wish to cancel it will cost 95% of the booking fee! They are shocking and should not be allowed to operate like this. They are nothing more than thieves.
You only have to look at the reviews to understand why you'd be extremely foolish to book with this cowboy outfit. We had a holiday booked in Palermo / Italy last year via last minute. Flights went well got to hotel and discovered to our horror that we'd moved to a hotel completely in the middle of nowhere ended up walking out and booking a separate hotel. Do not use this company is my advice, customer service is appalling no matter how cheap it seems trust me you would well advised to avoid this outfit with a 10ft barge pole and forget about any refunds!

I purchased ticket online from lastminute in the end of May, cancelled two days later it was confirmed that they will refund my ticket within two months. It is now three months past nothing happened and no one could not found and contacted. You can not reach them by any means, telephone, email, website.
Read carefully if you want to buy a product from them.

Had flights to Berlin cancelled in April, and applied or a cash refund instead of vouchers. Difficult to claim and was told I would be refunded to the original method of payment. Their site no longer recognises my booking reference and I am unable to get any answers from them. I have now received an email saying due to 'technical difficulties' they cannot refund to the card I used to make the booking and they want me to click a link and provide my bank details so they can do a bank transfer. Classic scam scenario! I have emailed to check if it is genuine but won't hold my breath as I have already been waiting for 5 months!
If you see one of your favourite hotels pop up on a Google search with room rates wildly lower than you'd expect - be suspicious. Lastminute.com operate a bait and divert scam, where they hook people into thinking they can book the hotel at a far lower rate, but then when you click through they will say there is no availability and offer alternatives even though this is probably not the case - how do I know I run a hotel that is being affected by this scam. I've reported this to numerous bodies and no one is addressing this. If you have stayed there before book direct that way you can ensure you get the best price.
You cannot change your booking dates, even though they say that you can when you book. I just received a FULL REFUND but had to go to arbitration. If you need to do this ask for recordings of your phone calls to their Customer Services Team (who can't amend anything for you). Use the recordings a evidence. Otherwise lm.com will just supply their emails which you have been unable to respond to.
This company is owned by people in South Africa (Braxonext). They will take and keep your money given any excuse. You have to fight to get it back. Go to arbitration, pay the fee, demand your phone call recordings and don't let them get away with it. In my opinion the current operators should be banned from running a travel company.
They also lied saying no flights or hotel available 10 months ahead, when they were available of course.

I don't normally leave reviews but due to the hotel being so terrible with homeless people in the stairway... prostitution in the room next door having sex until all hours of the morning! And then having to pay tax per person per night! Rooms after I cleaned were bearable with blood on the window although the smell of weed was particularly bad every day... The Manhattan@ Times Square NOT worth spending your hard earned cash on.
Only good thing to say was Virgin Atlantic was superior service!
No exaggeration, the service provided was some of the worst customer service I have ever received, when we finally did manage to speak a human being, they were incredibly rude and put the phone down (with a bored sigh!) on me whilst I as asking them a important question about our airline.
Terrible customer service, did not contact when stated they would. Long waits on telephone. Poor information on travel. Requested refund to be turned down with no explanation and no right to challenge. Will never use again!
If there was an option for no stars I would give them that. The worst agent ever stay away from booking with these guys. They will gladly speak to you when they want your money at the time of booking but after they have taken your money and you need assistance with changes etc... you can only contact them via chat online. The people you chat to can not speak English and don't respond or understand what you are asking about. I am still waiting for nearly 2 weeks now to see if my infant son can be added to my booking. With the departure date fast approaching I am in very concerned if i need to cancel. Pathetic company and customer service
Whilst I understand how a global pandemic has led to challenges, we have been waiting for a refund to be finalised since June 2020. Emails get a standard reply. Phone calls end up at a dead line. Frustrating that there is no way to find out when our money will be repaid. I will never book with them again.
Atrocious customer service. Its very obvious that nobody cares in the business, which is a shame and they only care about money, which is typical of corporates nowadays. They have lied to me blatantly on the phone regarding a booking as i confirmed something else with the actual hotel. I decided to record calls which has now caught them out. Booked a Flight and hotel package to Madrid for the Champs league final, all was ok on the website but when we got the confirmation email through the hotel was in Texas! Have called them numerous times and been told there looking into it but there is nothing they can do at the moment. Been promised numerous calls back which hasn't happened. Every time I finally get through to someone all they say is it will be another 72 hours before they can tell us anything despite it being over a week since we first got in contact! Use anyone else but not this lot!
Just booked a last minute ticket for my daughter to fly from Amsterdam to Exeter and return. We were all surprised at how cheap it was compared to previous bookings. No problems other than a hiccup trying to check-in online, but that was resolved with a simple phone call. Well pleased.
Bought a ticket from them. Wen I v had to change a date it was impossible to have assistance from them. After, due to the corona outbreak my flight was cancelled twice and now all flight are suspended so I am entitled for a total refund. The air Company has told me that this refund should be handled by lastminute. Com but unfortunately lastminute do not respond at all, on their website, were some automated massages are sending me for the refund process nothing is working on mobile phone. So after two weeks I could not even take to someone either change my ticket. Worse agent... Never again
Absolutely terrible customer service! If you have the slightest inkling that you may have to change your flights in anyway do not book with last minute.com! They kept sending us to the airline, when the airline clearly stated that all changes are controlled by the third party booker. This went back and forth for a week, until lastminute.com finally said that they couldn't do anything for us…. The morning of the flight! So new tickets had to be purchased for £240. I advise you just spend the extra few £/$ you save by going third party on actual airline tickets. As when the 1 in 10 time that you need to make a change comes round, the airline will be happy to oblige. Unlike useless lastminute.com employs, out sourced from a call centre in Timbuktu reading of a sheet!
If you value your hard earned income avoid this company at all cost as whilst they are happy to take your money if things go wrong you've got virtually zero chance of getting it back have reported them to trading standards as we are still awaiting a refund of money paid in April
Helped a friend book tickets on lastminute.com through Momondo. Once the email was entered it showed it would send a receipt and order confirmation. It also gave me an option to create an account.
After several hours I was never received any kind of confirmation and never received any link to create an account to track the booking.
I found email contacts and emailed them, they don't have one on their site. The email contacts were all rejected.
This site appears to be a fraud and scam. I've contacted momondo to see if they can help. I also advised the friend I helped to cancel the charge on Natalia's card.
Don't trust these people, and after reading other reviews, I see I was probably right.

They changed my flight date (Turkish airline) by themself to the one with an extremely long transit time and sent a confirmation e-mail giving me about two days to confirm it. I received it in my spam and didn't know about it until I realized something is wrong. After two days it was automatically confirmed without any further notice!
Although I booked a full flex flight with the insurance, they were not willing to change it to my desired date. Finally, I had to pay 100 Euro extra money for the different flight in order to reduce the transit time!

Just tried to book a flight through skyscanner with last minute which they accepted then five minutes later cancelled the reservation this must be a scam as then told me my money would be returned in a few days where it should be immediately if I have no reservation. Keep clear of this company.
On the last minute.com website it asks you not to call but they provide no standard information on what will happen with holidays cancelled due to the current health crisis. Surely a simple statement would be the right thing to do regarding repayment or a voucher system. And yet they are still taking bookings!
It's for companies like this where 0 stars should be an option. They gave me a "Full refund" which was 10% of the cash I paid. 70% a voucher (which expired in an unreasonable amount of time) and the rest went back to them for administration. Awful customer service.
