I booked a trip to Budapest for me and my wife to stay at the 5 star InterContinental Hotel and it went very smooth and no problems whatsoever. They were far cheaper than any other company and I would recommend lastminute.com 100%
I am very disappointed with how long it takes to get things done. It feels like I've been taken hostage by Lastminute.com. The hotel I selected was shown as available online, yet the agent's email response says otherwise. I was also misled by a previous agent who assured me I would receive a call, but no one contacted me. This is extremely poor customer service. Your web chat agents are unhelpfully cold and robotic; it felt like I was speaking to a chatbot. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was denied. Changing this trip has become an incredibly stressful experience, and I'm regretting using your service.
lastminute.com take advantage of Covid19 and make money. My flight was from Lisbon to Manchester has been canceled on 23 April 2020 due to covid 19 but when i asked for refund or voucher. Their lastminute customer service replied me in email that airline never communicate regarding any cancellation so there is no refund or voucher BUT when i ask Brussels airline customer service they told me that your travel agent is misguiding you because we do not send any cancellation confirmation to them as they all can see cancelled flight in their ticketing system. They are travel agent so its their responsibility to sortout this matter with airline. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I send them many emails about to sort-out this matter since many months but there is no reply. I also mention reply from both sides mention below.

I think that your travel agent is misguiding you because we do not send any cancellation confirmation to them as they all can see cancelled flight in their ticketing system. We could have helped you if your ticket was issued with us directly but since we are truly not authorized to intervene in third party's booking therefore I'd request you to please contact your travel agent only. I recently booked a package holiday to Sardinia via lastminute.com for my son and his friend.
Due to personal reasons he was unable to attend this trip. His friend instead agreed to take her mother and we respectfully requested to simply change the name of one passenger. There is no communication via the phone and one is coerced into using their web chat platform instead. Ironically, if you wish to make a booking they're more than happy to chat via a human over the phone as they know you'll be parting with your money! But when there's a problem or enquiry, no phone conversation permitted! Interesting eh!
Lastminute.com advised us (via web chat) that name changes were not permitted for this package. They placed the blame squarely at the airlines (easyJet outbound flight and BA inbound flight) stating that the airlines T&C's forbade name changes. I challenged this with both airlines and they informed me that it was lastminute.com who were able to make the changes. After all, as far as I can ascertain it is a simple matter of a few presses of keys on a keyboard and hey presto - the names are changed! Not exactly Einstein stuff is it?! Anyway, they remain adamant that name changes are not permitted. The result is that my son dare not lose his hard earned money and will find a resolution! I'm accusing lastminute.com of profiteering, scandalous and unsympathetic behaviour towards people like my son (20 year old student) who has saved and worked very hard to fund this trip.
Lastminute.com could have done me and themselves a favour by helping me. And now I'm warning everyone else to steer clear of lastminute.com. I will never, ever use them again and neither will my family and friends. You have been warned! Lastminute.com, more like last-minute.con.

Airline wanted to charge to air family together...
I booked 3 seat on a flight from Birmingham to Belfast at 7pm, for the following day. I got an email saying 'Thank you for making the following booking request with us:' I kept refreshing my app and checking the status and for over 3 hours, a message appeared saying 'booking not confirmed'. I called the helpline *******7400 twice (7.15pm & 9.35pm) and was promised that it would take approx 20 mins. At 10pm, I checked the status in my app and the booking disappeared of the screen. I got an email to say 'your booking request has been cancelled'. I was livid! I called a 3rd time and the staff member informed me that the booking was cancelled as the seats were no longer available. It was an important flight as our baby granddaughter, who has recently had major brain surgery and was taken by air ambulance home to Belfast (with her mother) and we needed to be with them as soon as we could get a flight. Because of LastMinute.com's absolute incompetence, we struggled to find another flight for nearly 3 hours, whilst also worrying about our poorly granddaughter's safe return home, which alone has been more than stressful enough! They even have the nerve to include in said email- 'To make a new reservation please visit us at lastminute.com.' Hell would have to freeze over, defrost and freeze over again before I would even consider booking with them again. Last minute.com - do not advertise the sale of seats on flights if you don't have them!
My Advice to Anyone who wants to buy tickets pleas don't use last minute.com they are Professional scammers

Wish I could give it 0. I booked a 3 days break to Valencia, everything was confirmed and the payments were taken out of bank. I contacted the accommodation directly as I had a few questions, they shortly replied and said that the accommodation wasn't available for the dates I had booked yet it had been confirmed on the booking with lastminute.com I don't understand how they can confirm a booking when the accommodation you pick is NOT AVAILABLE? I contacted them and told them it wasn't available in which they replied trying to find an alternative I declined as I had I picked the first accommodation for a reason if I wanted something else I wouldn't have paid for the first one? After this they said they couldn't refund me. So basically I am paying for a holiday which I can't attend? They never let me know about it not being available so I could've got to the place and be turned away how is this happening and how are they getting away with such shocking service they need shut down! They are just robbing people of their money it's a joke.
The whole process from booking, travelling, holidaying and return was hassle free. A top service from start to finish.
I have the right tickets in right time on excellent price for my emergency journey. Thank you you're amazing.
No customer service taken months for refund on cancelled trip and may not get a refund they don't care
DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THEM! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Would leave zero stars if I could! Been trying to get in touch for 3 weeks, someone picked up my call 10 days ago but as soon as I said the word refund they hung up on me! After trying to get a hold of them since, I finally managed to do so yesterday. The assistant first told me that I would be getting a refund but that I have to wait until they get the money back from the hotel and flight company. Then she said that I would be getting the refund in the form of a voucher to use with last minute until end of 2020. I asked to speak to a manager and was told "no you can't speak to a manager". When I asked why I can't have my money back seeing as they are not able to provide the service, she said "so the airlines and hotels don't go bust, for the economy"...? She clearly confirmed that last minute would be getting these refunds so this isn't about the airlines! It's absolutely disgraceful that they are getting the refund but not giving it to the customer and instead keeping it for themselves!
Cancel order and still take over £3000!
Lastminute.com (Bravonext SA Chiasso NLD) took my money after cancelling the order!
The amount they took is over GBP 3000. 00!
Now I have to claim the money back from my bank through a dispute.

I ordered a flight and hotel deal and paid. The order was pending confirmation. On the next day I get an email telling me they failed to confirm the booking.
I called my bank to see whether my money was taken. The GBP3000 was only "authorised", not taken yet.
I called lastminute.com helpline to get an explanation, they say they could not confirm the flight and thus cancelled the whole deal.
I asked about the money and whether I will be charged. They say it's unlikely as they cancelled the deal.
Next day, I check my bank account and it's debited of over £3000!
This is a scam! I am £3000 short now.
Now I have to deal with my bank to get my money back.
This kind of practices should be reported to the authorities.
Why do they take the money when they know they could not deliver and cancelled the deal. Why don't they confirm the deal and then take the money?!?! £3000. 00 is a lot of money for an individual - it's comparatively small for a company. This is asymmetrical.

The most horrible service and customer service! Bought a ticket on a Sunday afternoon tried to cancel it on next day on Monday morning the booking was not confirmed by LastMinute.com the agent on the phone said I couldn't cancel it because the booking was not yet confirmed by them and I asked twice how long would I have to cancel it once confirmed by them, the agent said 72h. Booking was confirmed on the same afternoon tried to cancel on evening online on my bookings, received message it was not possible because my flight was within 24h which was not true, since my flight was within 3 weeks and when I called on next day (Tuesday) because they don't provide a customer service on the phone for the evening period, they said it was not possible to cancel it anymore and receive a refund. I open the claim saying that their agent said the 72h and that I have tried to cancel it twice on Monday and was not possible because first the booking was not confirmed by them and online gave this wrong message. Claim is open from more than 3 weeks and I never received a return from them. I always speak on the phone with agents who cannot provide me with any correct information nor any update about my claim! Terrible service and misleading company! Never again!

Hello friends, I want to share my opinion about lakh minute.com. I had booked my flight from Czech Republic to India and India to Czech Republic through Lakh minute.com through Lakh minute.com. One and a half years ago today, I had gone to India from here. But when I had to come back from India, 5 to 10 days ago I get an email from them that your flight is canceled and you talk to the airline, while the airlines was closed. Due to Kovid-19, I have come back to Czech Republic after catching another flight and they promised to give me a riff. I am waiting for last one and half year now that when will I get my refund. Information is received from them that we are waiting for your refund. The airlines company is fine. I agree that you are waiting from the airline company and you write that you are in more hurry then you talk to the airline company. Why should I talk to airlines company when I had booked my flight ticket through them and this is also not a solution that I have to wait for refund for one and half year. Do you ever book flights? Would it give you time to pay for it? It is not necessary for 1 day 2 days 5 days 7 days. If you change the time of your flight too, then after that it deducts your money. After that refund you.

Where oh where do I start. I read both the positive and negative comments and I was shocked by the negativity. At the beginning of my booking this was not necessary. At least I thought. I had to contact lastminute.com a number of times before I got my booking (flight plus hotel) confirmed. Once confirmed (booked July 1, confirmed July 4) I was quite pleased and waited until July 13 to leave. And man oh man what a chaos that was at Schiphol. We flew with Corendon and had a MINIMUM delay of 27 hours. We were not compensated with food, only a hotel, which was not very convenient because you only had 4 hours of sleep to wake up with a little hope left. And then again to see that the flight was delayed again. Finally decided after having experienced a delay of 4 times and being completely tired (oh and don't forget the wonderful sleeping on the floor of Schiphol airport with the 4 of us, because no one was there the first day to compensate us with a hotel) and 2 full days subtracted from our 7 days stay in the hotel, to cancel the trip. Now lastminute.com only wants to reimburse 485 euros of 4962 euros. Can you imagine how much we liked their reaction? For this reason, 2 attorneys will contact lastminute.com and corendon. I assume the money will not be refunded. Oh and for others who think they have a chance of getting compensation due to the extreme flight delay. It will take 1-6 years and not 6-8 weeks before you hear something because there is a staff shortage at Corendon, and family members that we know who work at Corendon had us informed that Corendon will file for bankruptcy. In short, read this the way you want, assess the negative reactions and positive reactions and especially take them into account when booking via Booking.com, which will refer you to lastminute.com. Should lastminute.com see this review, my reservation number is *******006 and I would like to see 4096 euros excluding delay costs compensation. Otherwise we will see you soon at court :)!
