I booked a trip to Budapest for me and my wife to stay at the 5 star InterContinental Hotel and it went very smooth and no problems whatsoever. They were far cheaper than any other company and I would recommend lastminute.com 100%
I am very disappointed with how long it takes to get things done. It feels like I've been taken hostage by Lastminute.com. The hotel I selected was shown as available online, yet the agent's email response says otherwise. I was also misled by a previous agent who assured me I would receive a call, but no one contacted me. This is extremely poor customer service. Your web chat agents are unhelpfully cold and robotic; it felt like I was speaking to a chatbot. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was denied. Changing this trip has become an incredibly stressful experience, and I'm regretting using your service.
The confirmation email contained only one method to reach the owner and was not being answered. The website was equally useless.
Luckily googling the number to death and finding a similar accommodation using the same phone line we made our way across the city, bags and all, in the hope the owner might be there. He was. But if we had not done this we would have never been able to get in and ended up paying to stay somewhere else.
Last minute website should contain the proprietors email as well as number as a mandatory requirement. As such I wont be risking booking via this site again.
Be careful! Do not approach! I booked a flight to Budapest for the whole family through them, immediately after booking I noticed that I mistakenly booked from Monday to Wednesday instead of Sunday to Thursday, a minute after I booked I immediately started sending emails and corresponding with the chat about the mistake and that I would like to correct and change by Thursday, and this is their answer: if Add 750 gbp! Fine! What? I told them I want to cancel the flight, they replied that if I cancel the flight the tickets are gone... and all this within 3 hours of making the reservation. I will publish them on all websites, against the consumer law!
Had 2 flights cancelled. Trying to get refunds and penalties for over 3 months for the first one, more than 1 month for the 2nd. Have called many times. Always "wait 72 hours." Or, even better, "We'll contact you in 24 hours"... news flash: they never contact you.
Booked city break with these people and paid required deposit. Then received E mail saying awaiting confirmation. This went on for two days. I made several phone calls to them during this spell but couldn't get sensible answer. I then received E mail saying our booking had been cancelled. No explanation! Dreadful company, just don't deal with them. No customer service whatsoever.
I gave this company one star because I cannot give them none.
For starters, they are type of company that makes it hell, for customers with a problem, to communicate with them. They have all kinds of devices, like sending you emails telling you that the email you wrote to is unmonitored; you cannot contact them by phone; the chat bot refuses to refer you to the management for complaints.
At present, I am stuck in Mexico as Lastminute rescinded on the flexible tickets I purchased which allowed me to change the date of my flight. Every time I debunk one lie they give me, they make up another one. They obviously use the technique of 'wearing out the complainer until he gives up'.
But I am not giving up. I am taking the matter to court when I manage to return to the UK. It is going to cost me a lot to buy single tickets, let alone the anxiety they are causing me.

Lastminute.com will take your money and not confirm booking and you can't cancel until booking is confirmed by them so in short a SCAM to hold your money i wouldn't be surprised if they are going into administration as this is a very strange way of conducting business. Also help desk is infuriating as it's in Albania and they just read off script and tell you what's on screen that you are still waiting confirmation, so don't spend the 5 hours in the phone to them my advise don't use them.
Still no refund after months... no way to contact customer services! You are just continuously referred back to the website which tells you nothing. Appalling company, disgraceful behaviour... I'm having to take them to small claims court

We book hotel flights and transfers. Used this company first time and can not recommend enough. Our 4 night trip was amazing and will defenatly book again!
Booked flights only to Barcelona on Feb 27th. Less than 30 minutes later cancelled. They received the refund from the airline on the 5th March. STILL waiting 4 months later for it. Called many times. RIP OFF company. DO NOT USE! Awful customer service. Avoid at all costs
I used to use last minute.com a long time ago quite regularly in fact but recently after them booking the rong hotel and mis selling it they refused to give me a refund and all the emails and numbers go to the same ignorant and incompetent people who don't respond or selectively respond. Worst headache and waste of money ever!

Tried to book a flight with them through a fly search engine as they were the cheapest of all the other agencies. Added in all my info and got to checkout and it turns out they only allow Visa debit cards with no fees. Otherwise there are a whole bunch of fees added to the cost (which you don't see, but the total goes up).
I thought this practice was illegal now but it seems they still try it. I wasn't even trying to pay with Amex, but with Mastercard debit.

I had bought a return ticket from Cologne to Istanbul. When trying to check the flight info through airlines company, the website did not find my ticket which was supposedly bought for me by LastMinute. HOWEVER, LastMinute charged me immediately after I had confirmed my tickets with them. So what happened is that the airline operating the flight had not received the money from LastMinute. I ended up spending 11 hours at the airport, 3,5 hours of international calls, no explanation, solution whatsoever, and terrible customer service, they hold on you for 20 minutes and explain the same sh*t what they had told you earlier. So, in the end, I bought the first available ticket which cost me 233 euros=3 times more expensive than my original ticket.
Made and paid a booking for weekend trip on Friday morning. In the evening they email: "We're unable to confirm your booking. We are sorry, but it is not possible to confirm your booking. A full refund has been issued to you which, depending on your bank, should be visible in your account in the next 7 days (maximum 20 days)."
So they have taken my money, it took several hours to cancel and now I have to wait for refund for days. Meanwhile, the prices have skyrocketed and I am even more out of pocket. There were alternative flights, but do they care? NO
It is not the first time this has happened, actually. I have not used lastminute.com for some time, but decided to give them a go.
No stars awarded I cannot contact Ryanair or lastminute.com. Last minute have a customer service telephone *******5499 on answering you are informed calls are charges at 7p a minute. Along protracted speech then asks to enter your booking id plus hash key or enter the telephone number from where you made the booking followed by the hash key. Despite doing this accurately several times the answer always is cannot find your booking and the call ends by them. There is no telephone for Ryanair and all e-mails from both companies are sent to you with "No Reply". How do I get to them?
I'm going to keep this review short and to the point. Booked a flight with them. They cancelled the flight without informing. I arrived at airport to no flight. Was told a refund had been processed. 3 months later I get a email from Lastminute saying the can't refund back to my original payment method and need my bank information, they included a link to click on to provide the bank information but the link did not work(takes you to a blank page). I call their customer service hotline where they keep me on the line with a pre-recorded robot for an hour and then the line just goes dead. They don't respond to any of their social media accounts. Non-existent customer service. Fraud.
This is the worst company i have ever dealt with. Despite request for cash refund they gave me voucher for cancellation of flight last year. I was told i can either redeem voucher within year or request for cash after 6 months. Almost year pass by i have requested for cash refund but they are not honouring my request.
Current status: They saying my bank rejected to accept the funds (refund from last minute) and its been two month i am asking them reason and any further feedback from bank but to no avail. It feels i am banging my head to the walls as customer service is pathetic and rude and they have stopped responding to my emails. I do not what to do.
My advise if you want to loose you money then go to last minute else i would rather pay more and purchase it directly with airline.

ALBI I spoke to on the phone is useless! Doesn't solve anything, I'm playing ping pong on the phone with british airways, without saying that i have no rights with my ticket that i lost even by law saying that we have the lost flight for a year. $#*! company.
I was on the phone for over 2 hours and nothing was resolved.

Booked a flight and hotel package in Indonesia
Double checked all the flights were confirmed before leaving as they had originally cancelled our return flight and put us on another flight the next day. We left before the quaratine requirement was issued. 2 days after arriving in Indonesia we get an email saying our flight home has been cancelled. No new flight booked. No phone call or even email response to help us figure this out. They left us stranded in Bali with no help what so ever
Spend 2 days trying to contact them. We ended up having to pay close to $1000 per person with another company to get home. Pretty much a complete nightmare because of there negligence we felt completely helpless. Exactly what you dont want from a holiday. Dont bother booking with lastminute.com this has been a horrendous experience all because of this company
The online luggage change does not work. The so called assistance took 35 minutes, and told me that they will process it in 3 days in 2023, when they are online and takes 3 minutes. Ridiculous! Do not ever book a flight via lastminute.com it is so last minute that in case you need to book sg last minute it will take them 3 days to add some luggage, that you can do yourself in 3 minutes on the airline's website.

STAY AWAY from lastminute.com<. Au> I have been battling with them for over a year to get ticket credit which they initially "couldn't find" then we went back and forth from them calling me to make a booking over the phone to them "not receiving an answer' on my end-bull$#*!. They never called when they claimed they had. I spent hours and money to call them from the U.S. to their Australian line, waiting on hold to be told I'd get a full refund to my credit card, and of course that never happened. They are now asking me to make a booking so I'll be refunded after. LIKE HELL. Please never use this site, they have cost me more than money, but time and so much stress.
After booking with them I realised after checking the site of the airlines we were using I noticed that I have been over charged for a flight that should have cost 3/4 of what I should have paid. Last minute gives you great deals at first but then hits you with useless hidden fees and hijacks the price after having selected fees for service. They'll refund you with a voucher, forcing you to either go through with it or face it later down the line. I've never felt the need to genuinely right a review. Shameful.

Arrived in Thailand expecting a 3 star hotel with a pool & a reasonable distance to the beach.We were assured this is what expect.The pool was a 7 minute walk from the front door of the"hotel"it was disgusting, dirty & a health hazard, it had been cleaned in the second week but there was just 3 plastic chairs no loungers & didn't belong to our"hotel"was used under arrangement.The beach was 12 minutes walk down a dirty path.The room was a good size but very tired but couldn't be described as 3 star the proprietor was appalled that we'd been told it was a 3 she said it is what it is a one star! We had a lot of street noise when we'd requested somewhere quiet. Only plus point was the staff were really lovely people & the food in the restaurant below was good.
I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to alter a booking made, alter not cancel. I've spoken twice to disinterested customer service advisors, charming and helpful they were not! The first said I'd hear within 72 hours and couldn't get me off the phone quick enough. When the 72 hours had long passed and I chased another unhelpful soul told me I "was warned" that it might not happen and they awaited a response from "the provider"! There was no "warning" and why has "the provider" not chased? Efficient not!
My parents were traveling through Germany and had me book a hotel for them through lastminute.com. They were asked to pay in the reception when they checked out and were told that the lastminute reservation, which I had payed, was just a security reservation and that the money would be returned to me in 3-4 days. That did not happen, and so we've payed twice for the same rooms, once through lastminute.com and then again in the reception. I have been in contact with them on multiple occasions, and each time they promise that the money will be returned to me, but after over a month of waiting and messaging back and forth, nothing seems to be happening. Holiday Inn Hamburg and LastMinute.com have stolen from us. Be warned! Do not do business with them!
Booked last minute and enjoyed every second, flights were great!, hotel was perfect!, pool bar across the road served lovely snacks, and pool was clean, hotel was a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport, we had a fab time!
