I booked a trip to Budapest for me and my wife to stay at the 5 star InterContinental Hotel and it went very smooth and no problems whatsoever. They were far cheaper than any other company and I would recommend lastminute.com 100%
I am very disappointed with how long it takes to get things done. It feels like I've been taken hostage by Lastminute.com. The hotel I selected was shown as available online, yet the agent's email response says otherwise. I was also misled by a previous agent who assured me I would receive a call, but no one contacted me. This is extremely poor customer service. Your web chat agents are unhelpfully cold and robotic; it felt like I was speaking to a chatbot. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was denied. Changing this trip has become an incredibly stressful experience, and I'm regretting using your service.
From a previous cancelled booking, I had a credit to use so booked with the lastminute.com. Selecting the flexible flight options paying £66 odd pounds extra I was charged £253.45 or so I thought. On receiving the card statement the charge was £277.77. Protestingly, I rang and spoke to an agent. I was told that the difference was for the insurance. I disagreed as I had already paid extra for the flexible flight and had my own insurance for any cancellations. Finally I was told that someone in authority will be in touch within 48 hours. Five weeks later - no one has been in touch. Watch your money

My flight (Easyjet) from Amsterdam was cancelled on Feb 11,2020 and the airline had since paid lastminute my refund, but up till now lastminute.com has not refunded me. I've made several calls and written so many emails, but the company still wouldn't give me my refund. They're very nice to you when you want to book, but they become hostile when you want to get a refund. Avoid them at all cost!
I booked a holiday through Lastminute. I paid for the hotel in full. A few weeks before I was due to go on holiday the hotel contacted me direct and demanded payment. I asked Lastminute to liaise with the hotel. Lastminute failed to do so as a result of which the hotel cancelled my reservation.

Paid an additional £80 for a flexible ticket option, and when I tried to change my departure date because of a family emergency, I was quoted £532 for a date change. I was then told the flexible policy only applies to date changes prior to the date of departure.
I contacted the airline directly and got them to change the date for only £178 the very same day.
Lastminute.com had promised me they weren't charging any extra fees and that the price was quoted by the airline. Instead I was able to change my flight myself for £350 less than the quoted amendment price.
They are clearly a terrible company with dishonest business practice.

I booked a holiday with them (flight+hotel) for a nice price. I bought the only insurance I could (they didn't have other options). Regarding the Covid-19 situation, I wanted to cancel the trip. They said the insurance doesn't cover that kind of cancellations (which I can understand), but that's not all. The morning after I called them, they sent me an email changing my hotel (from 3 stars to 2, and in a completely different location). The reason for that, apparently, is that the hotel increased their prices. How does it affect me, when I already paid for it?. I called them again and they said they sent me an email (which they didn't) to expain there was going to be a change in the booking. After all, I cannot get a proof about the invisible email, and paid for an hotel that I'm not getting... No solution/explanation. Just feel tricked and stupid for making a purchase with them. Don't make the same mistake.
Booked via Lastminute.com for 3 people which included flights so they had all details. The website suggested the room which of course you would think was correct. When we arrived at the hotel there were only 2 beds in the room for three people and had to pay a further £55.
We were clearly misled yet the customer serivce team are not interested.

Dont phone number on website you will not get through Ring 020 8396 1137. Do not follow the options just ignore them. You will hear some music then someone will answer. They will transfer you to customer services where someone will answer straight away. Worked for me anyway. Thank me later.
It was easy to book, Jet2 are a great airline to fly with - good luggage allowance and plenty of room on the flight.
The hotel was very poor - shower head was broken, toilet broke on last day. Towels were not changed.
I had booked hotel stays in Porto Portugal on non-cancellable and non-refundable basis. However, due to the current situation their website information stated that if the UK Government stated that travel wasn't advised to any country that refunds would be given. Portugal was on the list of countries not safe to be visited at the time we were due to stay. We have had absolutely no communication whatsoever and the bookings just show on my account as though we have stayed. I know that they are busy but the communication and lack of channels to get in touch with them is an absolute disgrace.

I booked late and experienced a seamless / efficient online booking process for flights and hotel. No problems whatsoever. Flights were eventually delayed but - of course - this is something out of the control of lastminute.com.
I had initially tried to book the trip on Expedia but experienced difficulties making online payment. After switching to lastminute.com, this payment problem vanished.

My flight was cancelled due to coronavirus (understandable) so I therefore requested for a refund instantly so i could book a different route as I had barely anytime to wait. I received an email from them requesting my bank details the day I needed to fly out and I responded the same day. Now I'm back in my country they offer me a voucher despite me already making the flight there and back and will refuse to transfer the money back into my account. Now I'm out of pocket by a lot of money and will not have any need for that voucher anytime soon. I feel robbed and under valued as a customer. They have not listened to me or tried to understand me. It's like talking to a robot with no heart...

Booked a return flight to Portugal for my family of four through them for Ryannair. Outbound could not check-in online or at the airport (even with Ryanair customer service help!) cost an extra £220.
Return same again could not check-in online. Checked with Ryanair only to find out that my flight had been cancelled because the lastminute.com payment card had been declined! Had to pay for my flights again. To date they are still offering zero refund.
I have no idea how this sham of a company are allowed to still be in business.
Please stay away from that business. My full flex ticket didn't get ANY! Compensation in COVID lock down time. I also didn't get any support on their special hidden phone number *******209. They ask you for booking ID and my phone numbers and online account. I have all of that and I hear we cannot find it... IT's a SCAM. From now on I will buy tickets only on airlines site.

Since booking our holiday in February we have had nothing but trouble. Full amount of holiday was taken immediately, then hotel tried to take payment again so our card was blocked in case of fraud. We took out the Premium Service Package at extra cost - don't bother it's not worth the paper it's written on! Only when you have confirmed the booking do they tell you your hotel may not be refundable if you cancel. At no point were we told before we pressed the booking button the hotel we had booked was non refundable! We have had to cancel due to personal reasons and they have refused to refund us a penny. The link to manage your booking wouldn't work and trying to get through to the customer services was a nightmare. When we finally did they were extremely unhelpful and clearly not interested in helping you. I would strongly recommend you don't book through them, I know we never will again!
I booked two inland flights in 1 holiday. The first one I could add hold luggage, which I did. The second one they told me I had to book and I could add luggage after.
I got my boarding pass for the first flight. On the lastminute site, it says luggage is included, on the boarding pass it's not. And the airline I'm flying with can only add luggage when at the airport 3 hours before my flight with additional fees.
Now the second flight, I also tried to add luggage after booking, which was impossible. Same story as flight 1, only this time I did not pay for imaginary luggage.
Oh and, customer service does not exist. Only a bot which can practically only say hello.

This is the same scam as Bravofly, it is the same company. They canceled my flight then they don't want to pay my money back because in terms & conditions say that they can keep it. They offered a partial refund with a €35 handling fee for each ticket.
So yeah. They really think that it is okay to screw up your flight and then have a "handling fee" for not doing anything.
Don't use this company. They are scammers.
Also, let your bank know about this and they may able to work this case out for you.

Lastminute.com will let you 'book' a holiday and instantly take your money (£1500 of it!) they will then cancel it with NO explanation and will then have the cheek to say the refund could take 20 days to process. So you are left with no money unable to re-book your holiday!
Never ever book with last.minute.com, they will take your money then cancel your holidays with no explanation. I thought last.minute.com was a well established and trusted company - wow how wrong was I! I will be reporting them to watchdog.

Sadly last-minute are happy to take your money but if you want a refund or move your holiday date forget it. They have made it impossible to contact them and have you going around in circles on their website. All we wanyt s to be able to sort out our booking but they have made it impossible. I have been put through do much stress over this and do not see it ended well
We had a lovely one night stay in leeds for my husbands birthday. We stayed at Novotel and it was so lovely. The breakfast worked out rather pricy so we ventured up the road to a good old wetherspoons.

Flights are very time convenient, except for the return flight where this specific airline refused to board us first. We have a 2 1/2 year old child because he's over 2 and that's the rule. The prior flight outbound has boarded us first because we have a child. Also I'm not happy that I have to pay 60 pounds plus to reserve us a seat on the outbound flight and also 27 pounds on the return flight.
Just try the phone system. It will prompt you to enter your details, then lastminute, tell you to use the website & " Thank you, Goodbye". As parting shot after failing to connect you to the reps. Really awful & very crap system. Then, you pay 13p a minute, & same results, 5 minutes later! Wish I could give this an honest appraisal of - 10 (minus 10).
Wow! What a terrible company. My advice is to stay well clear of these cowboys. We booked via them to have our flights cancelled. Not only did they not refund our return flight even though it had been cancelled via Tui but they also didn't let us know that it had been cancelled. Luckily we realised they were a scamming company via the Facebook pages against them and had to organize our own flight back. We still have not had a full refund and will not be using them again. The customer service is non existence once you have paid and most just cut you off. I strongly suggest that you check them out yourselves.
I booked flight and hotel for my mother's 75th birthday at half term with my son and 1. This was a 5 star hotel. I booked two garden view rooms for the special occasion. No communication from last minuet.com from the initial booking a year earlier. On arrival to the hotel at night on 19/10 I was told by the hotel staff that last minute had cancelled our booking the day before. The hotel was full.
Desperate, I tried to get in touch with the company with no joy and resulting in my mobile phone service being suspended And a bill of £122. To cut a long story short, close to midnight the hotel took pity on us and gave us a room for one night only that we all had to share. I spend 2 days in reception being passed from lastminuet.com to booking.com who had booked the hotel! Lastminuet's com response:

Don't buy from this site. Morning I bought online 3 tickets. They deducted money from my bank account and the tickets weren't confirmed. I tried to call them all day long as my ticket was at the same day. I purchased the tickets and after 5 hours they sent me e mail that tickets are no longer available. Within 3 hours they will let me know about tickets, it means after flight time. The refund will be within 15 days, that is not fair. I cancelled the transaction from my bank and won't buy tickets from this site anymore..
Last minute didn't provide the hotel room as booked and paid for. I turned up to the hotel and hotel were unaware of my booking and there was no room available.
Trying to get a refund has been a complete nightmare and I'm still yet to receive any refund, now a month on.
Agents apparently sell rooms and the hotel would then confirm if available. Occasionally they sell rooms they don't have in the hope the hotel can still accommodate. Unfortunately the hotel couldn't, and I was left without a room which ruined my plans for the evening as I spent so long trying to sort the mess out.
Apparently there are other reputable sites that don't do this. I will never use last minute.com again.
