Quick and easy. Am very happy with the result. It has helped our situation with our disability child who just turned 18 years old to give us power of attorney as before we could access everything for him now we have to go down this road.
Just trying to complete wills for myself and my husband this weekend. Friend told us about you versus other online products. I wasn't prompted to set up an account, then it wanted me to open my account with the password I set it up with (which had not been completed yet). I tried to change my password 2-3 times. Each time I was told an email would be sent to accomplish this. No such email was received for any of the requests to change it. I did get 3 other unrelated emails. Frustrating. LOL
I like your services so far, but wish you were to inform customers payment is required before taking the time making a resume and it not being useful until payment. I paid for rental agreement documents for a year and thought that covered all your services. I won't suggest this site to friends and family.
Signed up for the free trial to get a little insight into subletting contracts. Completed Credit Card details to access the Free Trial. Most ethical companies now will send out a reminder email to let you know that the free trial is finishing. Did not use the service again and have paid 6 months of subscriptions.
Requested refund for unused subscription and was told they do not offer refunds.
Let potential customers know that the trial is finishing. Must be making a large percentage of their profit off those who forget to unsubscribe. If you sign for the free trial mark it in your calendar, set yourself a reminder because this unethical company won't be getting in touch again once they've got your credit card details.
Avoid dealing with a company who fails to inform you when the free trial period is coming to an end.

Hello Mark,
I am sorry if you feel that way. Our records show you signed up for a seven-day Free Trial Subscription on January 31,2023, 08:54 PM AET. As stated on the site, it renews for a monthly fee of 39.00 AUD after the Free Trial expires. We require a cancellation within seven days of the Free Trial to avoid renewal and charges. We have posted this information twice on the site. An email confirmation of your purchase was sent to the email address you registered after you submitted your order that includes the renewal date and time and the process to cancel. It says, "Your subscription automatically renews in one week on February 7,2023, 08:54 PM AET for $39/month. You can always change your subscription options or cancel your trial before it renews by visiting your Account Page." Your receipt also shows those details. We do not send out email reminders as you are well informed of what you signed up for. When you decided to click "Submit" on the order page, you agreed to the Terms of Use.
You only canceled your subscription on June 25,2023. Since you left your subscription active and canceled it five months later after your Free Trial for one week expired, therefore, the charges on your card. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided as of this time. A. Free Trial Refund Policy: The terms and conditions of the offer will govern any free trials. LawDepot® has no obligation to refund for free trials properly converted to paid product access.
We appreciate your feedback and thank you for visiting our site.

The two times I called up for assistance, both gave me quick and excellent response. Thank you very much. I will no longer be using your legal template. I would appreciate to cancel my credit card monthly subscription.
I used LawDepot to generate a Partnership Agreement. Took all of 15 minutes through a structured interview. Very easy. Note that the service is actually free BUT you do have to remember to cancel your subscription within a few days or you end up paying. Easy to remember and easy to cancel. I'd use them again.

Monique helped me today. She was so very patient and explained everything SO clearly. I will be looking at estate documents as a result of my experience today. Love I can call OR go online to contact them!
Do not forget to double-check you unsubscribe them otherwise! They're taking out money without sending any Bills! I'm not going to use their services! Since their manger was pretty upset and start shouting at me as a customer!

I highly commend Divine for the excellent service that she gave me during three different phone calls. She was most helpful with my problems and was very efficient at solving them. I appreciated her patient assistance.
She is an asset to your business!
Scammers! They charged me £329.89 charging me every month without informing me or proving any receipt after a free trial for a simple document!
Would not refund me even when it was clear I had NEVER used it other than to download the one free document.
I did cancel the subscription also, only found out when doing my accounts.
Check Trustpolet, have 80 reviews with 80% of them giving them 1 star!

Please be aware that once you customize your "free" form, you cannot print it without giving your credit card information. Nowhere on the site is there an indication that the template is anything but free until you have already spent the time and energy to work your way through a long list of questions and completed your own customized clauses to add. It's a marketing ploy that really irks me as a business owner. Respect for the client and integrity in marketing should be the bottom line. Not with this company!
They made a point of saying in big letters "100% free", then snooker you in with a so-called free trial, so it's really not free. They charged me $35 for three months, even though I contacted them to cancel. They claimed that they received no phone call. Scam to get your money. I didn't use the service, and didn't agree to have an ongoing account.
Tip for consumers:
Just don't get sucked in to the free trial spiel. Be very careful to track your credit card charges. They charged mine anyway.

Tried to create a lease document. Never used the service, but still charged over and over again.
Monique Hall's assistance was excellent plus!
She spent quite a while patiently and sympathetically helping me to get exactly what I wanted and needed especially since I am old, dying and not entirely able to manage on my own.
Many thanks!
I find some of the previous complaints naive, to put it mildly. It was quite clear to me that failure to cancel in a timely fashion after the free trial would result in a charge. This is a long-used, well-known and legitimate practice. I completed, downloaded and printed a rental/lease agreement as they advertised. I'm going back to look at wills I may use. I can't speak to ongoing charges after someone cancels but contacting your bank or credit card company to deny unauthorized charges is on the consumer. It will take a little paperwork but the bank won't charge you.
Once you complete and save a document, you are unable to edit and change/modify dates or wording. The documents are saved as a pdf, however, the justification scrambles and produces an unusable, unprofessional document. Monica, in customer service was abrupt and unable to assist in providing instructions. I see from other reviews that many have had the same issues with her. I wonder why she is still representing the company? I cannot recommend this site and regret giving them my business.
Hello Julie,
I am sorry that you had poor customer service with one of our agents.
When I look into your account and into your edited documents it looks like it is the top of the page that is becoming jumbled. As this is just the name of the tenant and landlord I would suggest not using the editor and going with Change Answers and correcting the names in the original questions. I have included the instruction's below on how to do this.
If you need to access your document:
1. Sign in to your account.
2. Hover on your email address at the top right hand side of the page and click on My Documents from the drop down menu.
3. Click on the document name to open the file.
4. Click the Change Answers icon to edit answers.
5. Save and continue until you get to Parties change the names and click on save and continue.
If you have any further problems please give me a call at 1 866.608.1020 Ext 337

The service is okay, but they've charged me lots of money. The state it's completely free, but they ask for your card's details first in order to let you use "the free". Suspicious isn't it? I noticed they were charging my card for the last five month and I used them only once in my life.
It's a free download as it states but you need to give your card details as after 7 days, if you do no cancel they will automatically debit your account. Yes it states on terms and conditions and on the email that they send to confirm but do not get caught out like me with the small print and please read wisely to what you are signing up for! I should have known better and paid closer attention... make sure you do! And don't bother calling to dispute as they are legally covered.
You had selected the 7 day free trial subscription offer on October 20th and you cancelled the account on November 21/15. On October 27/15, you were charge for the upcoming month as per the terms of the offer you selected. The offer does state the need to cancel within 7 days
Or the account will convert to the monthly plan until cancelled. The credit card page repeats the same information. The next page is the receipt which also has the cancellation information including the date and time to cancel by. We emailed you moments after you selected the 7 day free trial offer and that email contains the cancellation information including the date and time to cancel by which is in bold font. We also emailed you on October 28/15. Since you did not cancel until November 21/15, you were charged for one month. Your account is now cancelled and there is no further billing.
Classic free trial where they will charge you after 7 days and then won't let you get your money back even if you don't use the service a single time after. I get that this is my fault, but 95% of companies will refund your money if you don't use their service whatsoever during the subscription period. Customer service is rude and unhelpful, so good luck!
Tip for consumers:
Cancel your subscription before they charge you or else you’ve just wasted $33 that you’ll never get back!

Hello AG,
I am sorry to hear about your frustration.
As stated on the site, our trial offer is free for a one week period. During that time, you can create, download and print as many documents as you need. You can cancel at any time and there is no obligation. You simply need to cancel the subscription by requesting the cancellation under Your Account, or accessing live chat or phone and we'll cancel it for you within the seven day window. You also receive an email recapping the offer details and the date and time to cancel by appear in the email.
There are no charges to the card if the trial offer is cancelled within the seven day trial period.
Since as you mentioned you failed to cancel the subscription prior to the end of the Trial week, therefore the charge on your card.
The fees are not based on usage. It is based on access at anytime to create a document.
We appreciate your feedback. Thank you for using LawDepot.

I foolishly took them up on their offer of a single free doc and somehow ended up with a $ 35.00-a-week subscription, which I have hopefully canceled. I loathe companies that use such deceptive tactics to make money by offering something free and then you unwittingly sign up for a subscription you don't need or want. I guess it is, as they say, nothing is free.
Tip for consumers:
Make it clear what service you are signing up for by printing their "free" document.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I used the free trial for one written up contract, immediately cancelled and didn't use it again after. Upon recently checking my bank statement, I realized I got charged a ridiculous $35 one week later for a product I was under the impression was cancelled. Their customer support team said they could not assist me. It appears they are too cash hungry to do the right thing and refund the monthly fee. Do not use this service.
I called LawDepot.com this morning needing assistance with a POA I purchase and got Linda on the phone. Linda very quickly, professionally and politely resolved my issue. I will certainly use LawDepot again for other legal family documents.
I have been talking with Allison and Monique they are both very helpful and
Professional. They have been with me every step of the way.
We used your sight last year, but now I find myself doing a new Will since my husband passed in July.
I really appreciate your live chat that enabled me to print my Living Trust. It was a quick thing to accomplish, easier than I anticipated. Ive worried about doing this for awhile and I only wish Id known how easy it was to do. Thank you.
Having composed a power of attorney for a friend whose husband was becoming senile, I wanted to print it out for her use and thought that
This would cost £4.99. Instead I was surprised to be charged £59. Thank you for rectifying my error! Excellent outcome.
I hope those reading the title above will have some integrity and not take advantage of this awesome folks. I used the services and forgot to cancel the trial before it ended and they still refunded me my money. These guys rock

Hello Michael,
Looking at your chosen service, you picked the Basic License, which gives you access to create, edit, print and download only one type of document for a certain time. We have two other subscriptions that allow you full access to all documents we have online. You can select either the Free Trial for one week. If you cancel it within seven days, no charge will be billed to you. If you go beyond 7 days, it automatically renews to a monthly subscription for $35.00. We also offer the Yearly subscription, which renews every year and gives you full access to all documents we offer online for $107.88. We are sorry if our site does not meet your expectations. However, all details of our services were explained to you before you selected the service. A confirmation email of the chosen service was also sent to you after you signed up. All this information was provided so you would make an informed purchase decision. The user is responsible for the service selection and the usage of our services.
We appreciate your feedback and thank you for using our site.
