My overall experience with Lazada has been positive. I have been shopping on their platform since April 2020. Out of the 65 items i ordered since then, only 1 item was not delivered, which later Lazada refunded me for it. The items are mostly delivered within the scheduled time frame. I personally preferred their delivery partner, Ninja Van for their responsiveness. The return process is almost seamless. Best to check and reject an item upon delivery, for better chances of refund. However, I urge Lazada to improve on their customer service. The automatic response system can be frustrating. We prefer human to human communication. A customer service hotline would be great :)

Should not lazada be more customer centric and take recovery action when customers report undelivered item. Stop saying you have sop for investigation, limited access to the system for follow up action and push back to customer to cancel the order. This is totally unacceptable. FYI your delivery evidence photo didnt show the actual address, is this the correct sop.
7 days free return is never hornored. Custome service is useless at best. The only reason is to create employment in Philippines.

Ordered a carton of dry food from Redmart,Lazada. Food came with very short expiry date hence I requested for a refund.
Few days later, a delivery person showed up and picked it up. Thereafter, I was told that the receiving end, Redmart,Lazada did not receive the carton from the delivery person hence no refunds can be made. Was asked if I took a photo of the delivery person as they are unaware who picked up from my side.How is that possible?and since when are we required to take photos of delivery personnels?

Dear Sir, As a regular user of your website for my company and personal purchases, I ordered amongst other things a 24 inch LG monitor which was delivered this afternoon.To my surprise, on opening the box, I encountered 2 issues: A. The 3 year warranty card that came with the monitor requires postage to Malaysia for validity. B. On trying to even insert the disk that also came with it, the boot was no happening as per instructions. I am rather disappointed that Lazada takes such merchants to it SG website. I would like a full refund of my purchase and please let me know when you can collect it. I still have the opened box and items that came with the box.
I have waited tor 1 month and my item is not here. The replies that i have gotten back from the customer service was Allow me to check this with our team once more and I will get back to you once I receive feedback'' I bet nothing has been done... I bought a golf ball marker that cost $2.3 and later found out the total cost was $18.31. $15 went to shipment fee which was not reflected when I checked out. Really ridiculous. Never gonna buy from Lazada again.

This is an update on my order from Super Value (M). After sending many messages of complaint, I have received my package. But this experience has made me more cautious about using Lazada. Probably will still order from Red Mart as I have no problem with them.
I ordered from Super Value (W) on 3rd of June 2022 and it keeps showing "to ship". Msged the shop on 22nd to ask why it's not shipping out yet and they replied the next morning that they needed to check. At 6pm I msged to ask any news. On the next morning they replied whether I wanted to wait or wanted a refund. I asked how long more to wait and again only next morning they replied that they have no idea. So I answered that I would like a refund. Next morning they replied "sure" Then nothing again. On the 28th of June I asked them so how will they refund and they replied until the courier tells them that the article is lost then they will refund. Then yesterday suddenly I receive an email saying that the package has just been delivered. But I did not received any package. I called the help line but the operator's reply was Lazada can't do anything and it's between the shop and me. This is very unacceptable. I have ordered from other shopping platforms and when this happens the platform takes responsibility and made sure I got my refund or at least they made sure the shop sent me a new package. I don't think I will shop at Lazada ever again and I will also be warning my friends and relatives not to shop there too. Too unreliable!

Did not receive my complete order. It was very cumbersome to get to customer service, when i finally got one guy Gerry, on live chat, he took his time to reply and gave no help, though in a very "humble" polite manner.
He told to me contact the seller myself.
Similar experience. 1 item was not delivered with status "preparing your order" for 5 days. After complaining, got a useless reply that "vendor is preparing my shipment and will notify me when shipped". The next day, called to inform me that my order has been cancelled (no stock).
Effortless Shopping? Wasted effort and spoilt my X'mas plans. Now have to spend more effort on last minute shopping.
Switching to Qoo10 for good. At least there's customer review to guide if the vendor is reliable.
System will cancel order anytime after more than a week of ordered and payment done. They can give any reason example "prohibited item" while many of that items and similar items from same or different sellers are still available for ordering after long time.

1. Many different shops on this platform and orders not aggregated. So you run the tab on separate delivery costs
2. I took all steps, being careful to only order from one supplier. Upon check out I can not book a time slot as one item is not avauilbel. An item that is NOT in my basket so can not delete
3. After going through the useless computer whatsapp, a live agent asks me to order through the phone app only. What the Duck, if you can not process orders through internet, then dont waste customers time, dont offer it. That was the last time. What a lousy platform. Amazon at least one place and normal customer service.

Lazada sent me a link to provide evidence for appeal but the link cannot be opened despite notifying them thru many ways. On the day of date line, they emailed me n stated closed case because I did not respond. Their external customers support sys sounded extremely help n promised many things but nothing were true. The product I bought did not meet my requirement, delayed delivery n box was torn. They rejected my appeal without reason. Given their care-less attitude, no wonder the customers' data were stolen. Do not be get into my situation. Do not patronise Lazada.
On a few items that i wanted to buy, it shows as free shipping for standard delivery (usually at $2.99) proceeded to checkout and alas, its not free. Tried on mobile, tried on laptop and desktop, all showed the same free standard shipping on the product page. Brought the matter up to customer service with screenshots, i get the repeated reply that they don't see it as how i do. Told them its a waste of my time shopping on their site and asked if they can honour the free standard shipping as stated. Reply is no. Always no, always deny there's a problem.
I did manage to buy a few other items successfully and now have 2 loyalty vouchers to use, $5 vouchers only. Guess what, both can't be used. Website says its "fully redeemed for the day". Loyalty vouchers are exclusive to me right? What a load of crap this website.
I am still recovering from the shock of the day when an agent called me back in not the most polite manner and questioning me why I gave a Low rating. Is that how we need to be challenged? Almost out to kill tone?

Lazada customer service is the wrost among all e commerce. I bought some items but when I check the delivery status, it was stated as 'cancelled' and 'refunded'. Lazada did not inform me or alert me on this. However, I have not gotten my money back after few weeks. I made several calls to ask about the refund, the customer services keep pushing around and placed the blame for the fault of system. My money could be gone and please be careful when making of purchase from Lazada.

There's no hotline to deal with problems. You just have to fill in a form, but if that's not bad enough - the submit button on the form doesn't work.
Tracking system is meaningless - does not tell you what specific day your item will arrive
You have invested billion here. Please be aware that Lazada is way far from your Taobao/Tmall. Example:
If put in a bad comment of a product, it will go to moderation and never make its way to the product review. Therefore u will see all products has good review.
I am a fan of Taobao/Tmall where we don't have such restriction.
I returned a broken item one month ago but still waiting for the refund. I raised my case to the customer service. The first one told me to wait for 24 to 48hours for further update but did not hear from them after 5 days. Then I contacted them again. They even said there is nothing related with Lazada but only the courier company. I was asked to keep on checking the app for the updated. They don't give help and even have any way to make a complaint. If something goes wrong with your order, it is impossible to get any help but only lose your money. I shopped via Lazada because I trusted it. Now I learnt from this bad experience.

Just got 3 watches from Lazada at low price but well below expectation.
1. Misleading picture of watch.
The watch came with two holes (design) on the band but the pic didn't show any.
I will never even wear the watch
2. Lousy quality.
Try to wear on the other two watches. Need to pull extremely hard to tighten
When try to remove the pin just refuse to come out.
Although the total cost of the watches are only $28. This would had been put into better use.

Products are good for the price paid for and service treatment has been fair on most occasions. Some blips can be overlooked at times, but some of their staff do really assist.
