My overall experience with Lazada has been positive. I have been shopping on their platform since April 2020. Out of the 65 items i ordered since then, only 1 item was not delivered, which later Lazada refunded me for it. The items are mostly delivered within the scheduled time frame. I personally preferred their delivery partner, Ninja Van for their responsiveness. The return process is almost seamless. Best to check and reject an item upon delivery, for better chances of refund. However, I urge Lazada to improve on their customer service. The automatic response system can be frustrating. We prefer human to human communication. A customer service hotline would be great :)
Terrible experience. Lazada refused my return even though I was within the return window. They hid behind a technicality, denying a refund or exchange. Zero flexibility or support—definitely wouldn't recommend.
Lazada has given me mixed feelings about online shopping. The experience with lazada is not safe and should not be trusted. For future online shopping, I will definitely steer away from this platform. My story goes as follows. I placed an order for a monitor which i urgently needed during Covid19 circuit breaker. However, after many weeks of patiently waiting, and attempts to reach customer service, my order never arrived. Customer service was not helpful, was difficult to reach, never offered a solution and kept talking in circles. Instead of offering a concrete solution, they kept apologizing for the their malpractices. At the end, they forced a refund upon me, just to brush me off their shoulders. Their practices are totally customer unfriendly! Beware!
The shopping experience was not bad but if you sign up for a LiveUp membership, make sure to cancel the automatic renewal, because they keep charging your credit card otherwise. I was surprised to see a nearly $60 charge on my card from Lazada, even though we don't even live in Singapore anymore. Turns out it's the automatic renewal, which they don't warn you about. I would say not great customer service, for that reason.
Recently, I bought a wall clock thru Lazada. Vendor said that the delivery could be delayed because of cny holidays but they will send a free gifts first. Unfortunately, the clock did not arrive and sms sent to vendor retailer unreplied. Unlike my experience with Amazon, lazada offered offered no assurance and solution to the non delivery. Thankfully, the purchase price is relatively inexpensive.

Lazada engages the use of a logistics service provider called Ninja Van. This vendor is totally unreliable and all items ordered are horrendously delayed. To add insult to injury, Ninja Van's customer service is non existent.
Where does this leave the customer? Non receipt of goods promised within a stipulated time and very frustrated, angry and pissed off.
For the information of all, I ordered GROCERIES and it was delivered 2 weeks late! I shan't go into the specifics but can you imagine the state of my groceries?
Until Lazada changes their delivery vendor from Ninja Van to whoever, I would suggest the use of other online portals that use the services of other logistics companies besides Ninja Van.
They purposely made 2 times payment for their pre-sale item where you have to pay the deposit first then few days later 2nd payment manually, it will not auto deduct from your card. This is where they trying to scam your deposit because if you not notice and missed out the payment time frame then order will be cancelled and deposit are non-refundable. There will not be any clear info on the payment part or the cancellation part until order been cancelled and you will receive message saying it's not refundable. After using their services for so long, first time I encountered with this experience and time to remove them.
Order msata drive and delivered m. 2 ssd. Returned the product immediately and asked for refund of my money but still no response.
Looks lazada is totally a scam, fraud and not returning money.
Initially they told it will take 2-4 business day but its already over and they are playing games when asked for money
We are a merchant with Lazada but our experience with Lazada is extremely bad. We have goods which we personally delivered using our own fleet but we never get paid. The answer given to us each time is that there was system error. We complained up to 7 times! And each time they were apologetic but the system error remained and still we never got paid.
Then one day we got a RUDE shock. They threatened to cancel our order because after more than 1 month they never quite figured out what's wrong (WITH THEMSELVES) and even when they managed to get the customer to confirm that the goods was delivered, they chose to believe their own machine (system) and threatened to penalise us for the non-delivery.
It is no wonder that Lazada is failing fast. They have failed not only the customers and the customers are not coming and they are failing merchants by keeping all the purchase money with themselves and we never get paid.
I ordered hp lap top last 7/12/18 but it has not delivered on the promise date so i cancelled it but i have a hard time getting back my credit refund. Ninja van said the item i cancelled was still with them and they had tried sending back to hp supplier 17 times but failed due to incorrect address i inform lazada about it but i was always given the same answer they make sure to expedite my refund. I called my credit card company to lodge a dispute so the card company will chase after them. That will be my last order from lazada no way i gonna purchase from them again.
I ordered an item and they sent the wrong product. Trying to deal with their customer service is just a nightmare. It's should be a simple matter to get the item I ordered, especially when it is the same price as in retail shops. I will never order from them again. The product I ordered came in packaging that did not look original and not convinced that this is not a fake product.
Ordered 2 items from them. One came on time, the other order tracking kept showing processing. 10 days later, I completed their on line survey, then was told item will be refunded. Only when I asked then I was told it was out of stock! Refund amount was NOT IN FULL. They deducted the discount that I hv used. It's not my fault to reduce the amount spent! Neither can I replaced it with another item. They even entertain me by giving me a voucher code that I can use for future purchase with a minimum amount! That is not the way you handle your customers!
The discount is only S$20, they treat that more important than keeping their customers. So beware, if they do it to all their customers, you will have to pay in full for your purchase and forget about their promo discount.
Lazada sucks. Period. Delivery came in 2 weeks later than the stated date. Do not waste your time with Lazada. Getting refund is a HUGE pain and it takes weeks to get your refund even though the website states they will refund in a day.
My experience is that their customer service is poor and disinterested.
Worst return policies. Basically a "wash my hands it is your problem not mine" approach.
There seems to be poor or no vetting of sellers and all sorts of claims about authenticity are made under the umbrella of Lazarda with no customer protection

I ordered a $500 product with a Live Up account and was promised a 10% rebate. It said that the rebate would automatically apply when the item status is changed to delivered. Item took 2 days to change to delivered status (which required an email and call from me to get changed). When rebate came, it was only $0.70 and I had to give them another call asking to rectify this issue. Was promised vouchers to cover up for the missing rebate but have yet to hear from them yet. This is absolutely ridiculous, issue after issue and I am still nowhere closer to getting my money back. DO NOT USE LAZADA.
I have been waiting for a product of my bicycle touch holder but they never help to track. They have also ignored my email. I will probably need to seek the enforcement to ensure they are fair to buyers. Please be careful if u see this email.
I ordered the earphones with Lazada on 8 June. The website status then showed that it is in process. Fast forward to 12 June, I was informed that my order has been cancelled due to "system error". I was also informed that the refund process had been initiated and "completed". However, I have checked with my credit card issuing bank and Visa, they checked and found no such transaction (refund) from Lazada. I am disappointed with Lazada, to say the least. So far, based on what I read on reviews on Lazada, they are mostly poor reviews. I am thinking twice about making another purchase on Lazada again.
I have bought a bicycle, order # ************** on 12 March 2019. According to Lazada the item delivered on March 20 by Singpost. But even after one month I didn't receive the item and disappointed to see both Lazada and Seller never reply to any of my enquiries. Lazada never attend customer care number and never reply any email, live chat is really bluffing. Singpost unable to find any article what Lazada said is engaged them to deliver to me. I think they cheated my hard earned money. Not sure who can help me to get my money back.

First item came from a local store with address listed. Bought a pair of steelseries headphones with no problems.
Second item is also from a local store but with no address or website, decided to trust Lazada. My item got mixed up with someone else's. I received another customer's items with their receipt! Printed on it is their name, address and phone number! Too dangerous!
Asked for replacement because I thought it pays to be nice (item received is more expensive than what I paid for) Waiting for quality check is 2-4 business days (now the 4th day) Waiting for delivery is another 2-5 days. All in all, replacement will take 9 days the latest.
Way too long, Lazada. Even Amazon processes my refund within 2 days along with quality checks.

Bought sk2 eye cream from Lazada- Shicara. Upon delivery, not professionally sealed and opened to check - watery. Unlike The creamy Eye cream which I have been using for over 20 years. Immediately submitted the return. Rejected by shicara though told her it's watery, should be a fake product. But denied. Lazada doesn't help and keep asking for evidence. I showed Lazada how real eye cream vs watery. Said evidence not enough. With 3 times evidence provided still not satisfied and keep asking for evidence. I am a consumer and not supplying sk2... I provided whatever I know and Lazada instead of protecting customer, gang up with shicara and forced me to give the refund and return. It's totally a scam!
I ordered several items. Some are not in delivery time. Some got not delivered. Last item was RTS Return to sender by LAZADA.
Only automatic response - no real help or look in the case. Recommendation forget about buying there or at least pay only on delivery! Can not recommend LAZADA - cancelled my wishlists.
Recently i received items that is different from seller advertisement.
Now the seller had edited the description, but still using the same original pictures taken from the original manufacturer.

Beware of this particular seller (Bodhi store) in Lazada website. I recently purchased a pair nike shoes on 04/09/2020 and was told by seller i will received a random free gift follow by the shoes. In the end, the free gift was shipped via order number therefore the platform assumed my order has been shipped. Its a cunning and smart move i would say. Until now, i have yet to receive my shoes. I will not purchase any shoes/sneakers on lazada again.
SPSGCN******* was no. For delivery of my Lazada denim shirt. Lazada says it was delivered 22 Apr. But up to now 1 May I have not received it. I message Lazada 4 times. But each time Lazafa just gives the same reply. Lazada doesn't bother to check. Doesn't bother to show proof of delivery. And doesn't do anything. With this bad experience I wont buy from Lazada again
Order placed on 29 Jan 2020 at 08:49:20, Order #*******8849. Supposed to be delivered by 5 Feb 2020, no updates on delivery and I had to What's App seller "Freshening Professional". Seller replied on 20 Feb, saying will be delivered within the week. Till date, it's still not delivered and it's over a month and seller is not responding to What's App either. Lazada's portal does not have a hotline for customer service either. So, is the seller fraudulent or is Lazada being ignorant?
Am gin thye honey comb lover, this yr they don't sell tis item at Q10 so no choice but buy from red mart. Very nice packaging but when checked items, felt so terrible that 1 of my cny biscuit all broken up, probably need a spoon to eat them... who willing to spend $15 for such thing.
