My overall experience with Lazada has been positive. I have been shopping on their platform since April 2020. Out of the 65 items i ordered since then, only 1 item was not delivered, which later Lazada refunded me for it. The items are mostly delivered within the scheduled time frame. I personally preferred their delivery partner, Ninja Van for their responsiveness. The return process is almost seamless. Best to check and reject an item upon delivery, for better chances of refund. However, I urge Lazada to improve on their customer service. The automatic response system can be frustrating. We prefer human to human communication. A customer service hotline would be great :)
Terrible experience. Lazada refused my return even though I was within the return window. They hid behind a technicality, denying a refund or exchange. Zero flexibility or support—definitely wouldn't recommend.

I ordered kindle from lazada around 25 days back and i am still in fight with the customer service to know the status of my product. And the biggest blunder of all that they dont even know the correct shipment tracking number to find out about the current status of my shipment. So if you don't want to pay them money in advamce and just forget about the product arrival, then please think multiple times before ordering anything fom them.
There CS is pathetic and they dont know anything.

Skip Lazada for small, popular items. My order for a popular hair item was suspected pilferaged within NinjaVan. It was supposed to be delivered by 12 October but NinjaVan did not bother to revert despite my repeated requests until Lazada approached them this week. It appears NinjaVan does not measure its Delivery performance so need not account for lateness.
To make matters worse, Lazada's promise of refund never materialise. Instead continue to ask me to be patient with them to wait for NinjaVan investigation. Wonder what kind of SLA Lazada forge with NinjaVan. What is the KPI for NinjaVan?
Very disappointed with both as one such last mile defect is one too many. This shopping experience is a total flop in terms of customer time, efforts and monies.

Dont buy from lazada, I bought a counterfeit watch sold as an authentic watch, return to lazada and they misplace the item, found it later to return to warehouse, Lazada have the review extended and do not even try to do the review at an earlier date as possible.
THIS SITE HAS IT ALL! As a first time buyer, I'm very happy with my purchases. Parcel arrived within two days albeit items were delivered separately (due to shipments from different sellers^^). Only downside is the hole it leaves one's wallet D:
Lazada sellers guarantee delivery when pay an extra delivery fee. In the end, the product came one day later, and my daughter had already flown off to overseas study. I wrote to the seller to reject the order; the seller told me it was not their problem, is Lazada organise the delivery with SpeedPost. At the end, I turned to Lazada for help. Lazara turned me down. Actually, Lazada earn a fair bit of money in all transactions, they can't even help on such occasion. I have been buying from AliExpress, on a few occasions, they helped or stepped in to resolve my issue and I am happy to buy from AliExpress. Guys, actually the product in Lazada is not that cheap, if it were not for the delivery time that is needed, I would not buy from Lazada, yet they can't even deliver on time, even when I paid for it. WHY SHOULD buy from Lazada? Some time is not about the money is about the principle!

Lazada sided with the seller to reject to refund for the defective merchandise that I had sent back to the seller. Lazada gave no alternative solutions when they sided with the seller to reject my request for a refund except Lazada asked me to upload more evidence if I wish to continue to dispute. I don't have other evidence than the video I had submitted to Lazada. Of course, Lazada found my evidence not supportive of my claim. The case just hanged? I don't get the refund and the merchandise was already sent back to the seller. Sleazy and unethical. I take this case to court if I have to.

I bought a product on lazada and didn't like it so I requested return & refund on 21 Dec. I chose pick-up as the delivery method for return as the item is pretty big, hard to take it to a post office. Then, there's no in-app notification nor MSM, whatsapp, NOTHING, notify me when this will be picked up and returned. The courier came once when I'm not at home, then I missed that delivery. And that is the only time they came, later on I tried to contact the courier they saying they don't have such return order anymore. So I went to Lazada to check what's going on, while I was told to wait. After 2 weeks, and various times of contact, they said to rescheduled a return for me, yet still, no update, no one came, parcel still here. What's more, the Lazada system has canceled my return request since it's pending to long.
Excuse me? Each time I try to contact them, all I get is "our resolution is working on this with priority". Is priority in Lazda means after a customer complain 10 times you manage to get one return rescheduled? I was so pissed and called see if I can speak to any other department to resolve this matter as now I couldn't even initiate the return myself, the order was closed for me somehow, but all I kept getting is still waiting for resolution team. This is so ridiculous, I'm so unhappy with this, this is extremely unprofessional and disappointing.
I requested for a refund Jan 23 same day when I received the WRONG ITEM. I bug their Chat Reps almost everyday to check for updates. Coz if i wont do it, I think they will not do any actions. Three weeks passed when I returned my item I received an email finally that they received it. At first they rejected it without informing me. If i didnt chat a rep that time maybe they'll just send back the item. The moment i knew it was rejected i requested for reevaluation then it took another week for them to finally process the refund..
I bought 2 S sized jackets from Lazmall from Superdry. 1 came XL, model name is different from name on their order site but Lazada refused to refund me. Items were delivered to me on 14th April, I dropped off to return at Speedpost on 15th morning. Dispute resolution team rejected my refund 3 times! Wth... send me the wrong item but I have to pay for it? It's the vendor's fault! Now I'm going for my 4th dispute resolution. Looking to go to Case/get social media to cover this story. So damn frustrated.

Ordered 4 units of Samsung UHD display from iTechnology. Promised 2 days delivery. Items was not delivered after 20 days despite items updated as packed. Cannot cancel order via app since items has been updated as packed. Tried to contact seller numerous times, no response at all. Finally engage Lazada help to cancel the order and get the refund back.
Do not recommend buying from iTechonlogy. Looks like company has been struck off ACRA list since 2019.
I cought some clothes on Lazada few times. It's ok, the price is cheap so I didn't expect much about the quality. The only thing I don't like is the shipper. They quite rude when they know I wasn't at home.
Bought a perfume from Bvlgari and the liquid colour compared to my original bottle from duty free is quite different. Scent wise according to my hubbs it is a bit different too... quite disappointed. Sigh. Anyone can advise?
1. Hadn't received my item 5 days after promised deadline.
2. Contacted them. They told me they would get in touch with the seller. Asked them to do so and get back to me within 24 hours.
3. They didn't do anything.
4. Contacted them again after another 2 days. They said they don't know what is happening. Asked them for compensation and immediate update on what is going on.
5. Then they canceled my order because they couldn't get ahold of the seller!
6. They offered me a compensation voucher of $5!
OUTCOME
7. I'm never buying from them again.
They have the cheek to call themselves the Amazon of Asia, if that were the case, I am completely embarrassed to be Asian.
Their ops team refuse to give out contact numbers, citing fear of harassment, and work with people only by calling them using private numbers. They don't call with the intention to find out the customer's experience anyway, they call to tell you Lazada is not responsible for the $#*! you've been through and they don't care.
Couldn't expect more from a bunch of pinoys led by a fresh grad who can barely speak English (if you go on LinkedIn you'll see this is true, their ops is based in Philippines and is led by a Lu Feng locally) joke team, if you would even call this lot of monkeys a team.

Placed an order on the 17th Dec and your site states delivery will be on the 2nd - 6th Jan 2019. However, on 5th Jan(Sat) my package has still not arrived and decided to write in. An auto reply states a dedicated customer service agent will contact me within 2-3 business days. Today which is the 10th Jan 2019, already the 4th business day and yet not even a F***ing soul contacted me to update me on my purchase. Would rather stick to some other e-commerce platform. If i could give a ZERO star rating, I'll DEFINITELY do so. LAZADA, you're such a pathetic organization!

Apparently Lazada allows to sell fake products on their platform without taking any responsibility. Plus, they block any reviews about counterfeit items.
Was always afraid to purchase online, with the cash on delivery option and wide range of product on Lazada it becomes very reliable. So far I have not had any problem with their service or product.
They remove your review if it is negative. I received a fake product, and instead of giving me a refund, they removed by bad review. What an awful, cheating company! Don't ever buy from them!
I have been using this platform for a few years. Generally, I was satisfied that Lazada accepted returns & refunds without questions asked when the purchase was not suitable.
Recently I note a number of crooks selling on Lazada and for the first time the platform accepted a return but REJECTED IT.
At the moment, they are holding the goods I don't want/need and refuse to refund.
For an amount of almost S$100 I don't think this platform is credible.
Moreover, together with their dropping rates THEY REFUSE TO DISCUSS WITH THE BUYERS. Instead, they stand by the seller who, consequently, do pretty much what they want.
This has happened to me a few times. I would either buy a few pieces of something and then the supplier would just send one piece.
Or if I were to buy three or four items from one supplier and when the package arrives, something is missing from the purchase list.
In both cases, there is no direct method of addressing the issue on the Lazada. The chat is actually a robot that only handles all the listed issues (not including any one of the above). When you call the hotline, you will speak to someone who will promise you everything but does nothing.
Then what happens after is that while waiting for customer service to act on your issue, the time limit for return expires and you get billed for something that was never sent to you...
Since I'm seeing this more often than I used to, my theory is that there are many suppliers in Lazada who knows about this loophole and are taking advantage of it so either buy only one thing from any one supplier or make multiple orders if you need more than one piece so buyers beware!
1) items left outside my house at least 45mins before scheduled delivery time. 15mins before scheduled delivery time, still received messages that delivery be made within 15mins
2) an item wasn't delivered and 3 weeks after the scheduled delivery date, no email received from redmart or Lazada n $ not refunded yet. Had similar case when redmart was operating alone n within same day, an email was sent by redmart that item want delivered and $ be refunded
