My overall experience with Lazada has been positive. I have been shopping on their platform since April 2020. Out of the 65 items i ordered since then, only 1 item was not delivered, which later Lazada refunded me for it. The items are mostly delivered within the scheduled time frame. I personally preferred their delivery partner, Ninja Van for their responsiveness. The return process is almost seamless. Best to check and reject an item upon delivery, for better chances of refund. However, I urge Lazada to improve on their customer service. The automatic response system can be frustrating. We prefer human to human communication. A customer service hotline would be great :)
Terrible experience. Lazada refused my return even though I was within the return window. They hid behind a technicality, denying a refund or exchange. Zero flexibility or support—definitely wouldn't recommend.
I made my first purchase with Lazada and they just cancelled my orders cos seller update the price from SGD 49 to SGD 71. This is so ridiculous and unethical of them to do so. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM LAZADA! You will regret badly... I have never encounter so irresponsible Lazada staff nor seller ever in our platform! Trust me... you will regret placing orders... Hope they go bust ASAP!
Without inform or requesting user whether to continue membership, lazada deduct money from credit card for some liveup membership. I will post this on facebook
Lazarus success was built on trust, reliability and quality of the product sold as an E-commerce marketplace, That reputation is disappearing - I've had multiple orders being canceled delayed, partially delivered and even damaged, I have tried to complain online, but with no response - Lazada seams to have taken in so many sellers that they have lost the control, it is frustrating and sad.
On 25 Deb 2022 I made a payment of S$82.29 for purchase of a door peephole camera. 5" The reply from lazada that they do not have stock & order was cancelled from their end. The amount of money was NOT REFUNDED to me till today ( 14 Apr 2022). This clearly reflect the moment of truth of lazada. PLEASE DO NOT MADE ANY PURCHASE FROM lazada. The management has NOT responded to me yet after calling them 3 times

Poor Customer service in providing solution where the problem are due to the online purchase system:
1) order some items and paid by voucher $50 and credit card, later Lazada refund in voucher value $39 due to 1 item unable to deliver.
2) Trying to use voucher to redeem and order but not successful, called and write email to show screen shot, Follow with many calls and repeated story to CS staff, finally re-issue another voucher code.
3) Trying to order again, this time voucher apply and redeem successfully (shown on screen on the app, yet when proceed to order. System reply "oops... order not succesful.
Summary: error on online order platform yet the CS staff reply email: "you will not be able to use any vouchers or coins during checkout", "Lazada would not be allowing you to utilise any voucher on our platform with no appeal allowed".
My complaint: error was from Lazada side with poor online system yet CS staff forbit m to utilize the voucher. I request them to refund $39 to my credit card. Waited 1 week, no reply. I had many emails and calls with them but answer by different staff and escalate to no where, merry go round. No solution until now and no reply, follow up after 1 week.
Almost 50% of the items i bought are either cancelled without reason, late delay as sellers don't check orders, sellers sent wrong items and many sellers are actually non-responsive, no reply no update no shipping, sellers also cheat by indicating shipping tracking number but in actual fact, never send out parcel at all so no further update on shipping status. If buyer don't check or don't ask, then they simply just keep quiet. Worse still, the shipping number shows it's on the way, but local courier says there is no such parcel, buyer can't cancel as system don't allow it since system shows parcel on the way so have to contact Lazada directly. Waste of time! Lazada don't return vouchers until buyer specifically requested for it by opening a case with Lazada and Lazada says certain vouchers are non-returnable so asking buyer to buy again without vouchers so refused to return vouchers to buyers. Why? This is not buyer's fault at all?! What is going on with Lazada?! This is the 1st and the last to shop on such atrocious platform! Real buyers please beware!

Order 2 dulux paint but only come 1 the other 1 can is loss try to call lazada customer service to ask them my 1 more can of paint I didn't receive on time the customer service office told to do refund but at my side I can't key in the refund at all as my parcel still at logistic. Lazada send me email say the my items is on the way is been more then a week the my items didn't reach me I do check the ninja van Track Orders but my order was cancelled by ninja van. Call dulux office the GM will check for me at list dulux paint do something on it but after all I don't think will get back my $$$$ just take it as a scam... Hi, I have ordered a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone for a price of around 900 SGD. 7 days after i'd receive a Google Nexus 5 which someone else orders and it takes whole 7 days for Ninjavan guys to collect it back. All of sudden i get an email that we are issuing a refund and when i call them i get standard answer "Its our process to resolve a conflict" and guess what 12 days and counting i did not receive the money, when i call my bank i'd be said to resolve it with source and Source(Lazada Customer Service) gives me a standard answer "In process, please check with your bank". I now wonder Why did i place an order a month back?
STAY AWAY AT ALL TIMES! Bought a Armani perfume but realised it is a fake! Contacted customer service but it was to no avail. Lazada is so popular and famous but they are not vetting their goods at all. TERRIBLE! ZERO STAR!
My review of Lazada is based on my experiences I have had in the last one year. I have ordered all kinds of things from mini tripod to dishwasher. I think one thing I hate the most about the seller's here is that they don't accept change of mind as a valid reason for return. If I have bought a product, especially after paying a fat amount of money, I think I should be able to decide whether I like the product and gonna keep using it. If not, I would rather return it than have a waste lying at my house. Now I understand I might be coming from amazing shopping experiences from websites like Amazon. Unfortunately such shopping experiences not available in Singapore and I have to make do with terrible conditions such as above. There have been times when the seller's have sent me wrong items, crappy items but I just didn't have enough time and energy to keep at returning things.
Undoubtedly there have been few good experiences too with Redmart. They have let me process returns when they sent rotten stuff or wrong stuff. Overall my feelings are mixed about Lazada. I would say it's pretty convenient for groceries but not a great place to buy clothes (multiple cases of mismatched size, terrible quality of product), ok to buy some items of medium prices (hit or miss) and totally not ok to buy items were you pay a considerable amount of money because you have no control once you buy the item. You will be forced to keep it even if you don't wanna use it, coz once the money get in the pockets of seller's (almost all) they don't wanna let go of it.
My order number was **************. My Bosch Steam Iron was ordered sometime in middle of May 20. The cost of iron was $224. The Steam iron was poorly packed and upon receiving. The steam iron was damaged. I called the seller Magnify and I took photos and sent. Seller was honest and he told me to deliver the steam item to him via Ninjanvan. I send on 8th July 20. The seller informed that he had recieved my damaged steam iron. Thereafter I made so many feedback to Lazada on refund. Until today is 24th August 20 no respond. I contacted Lazada and was informed that seller rejected my item. I texted seller. He assured that Lazada will refund in a week. Lazada online shopping experience was frustrating to get refund if items was delivered damaged. As customer, I will think twice to purchase online from Lazada. Whether the seller Magnify or Lazada are contradictory information are risky. It was straightforward refund despite sending item back to seller.
TL: DR - BEST TO AVOID!
Ordered(in Jul 2018) a remote control toy for a present. Toy arrived with missing parts. Contacted seller and seller said he/she would send over the missing parts. Waited close to two months and a package arrived. However, it was not the missing parts. Contacted the seller once again. Seller once again said he/she will send over the missing parts. Had to waited close to another two months and a packaged arrived. Once again without the correct missing parts! Tried to contact the seller once again, but the seller has gone quiet and is ignoring all contact attempts.
Contacted Lazada customer service. They tried to contact the seller but received no response from the seller after a week or so. Seems like they cannot even control the sellers on their platform. So, in the end they say they cannot do anything and it's my problem to sort things out with the seller. During the email exchanges with Lazada, it's quite obvious to see that the people replying do not bother (or cannot read) as replies on different days are sometimes the same canned or "cut and paste" answers.
Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money on this e-commerce platform. There are so many better ones out there.
Oh yeah, their site doesn't allow you to leave negative reviews. So, take all reviews with a bucket of salt.
After a week still no delivery of items which should be delivered,. Ninjavan is the new delivery service of Lazada and also Zalora. Ninjavan gives you somewhere in the morning a message that they deliver TODAY and you have to be at home the whole day. That is impossible and very bad customer service. This is again like old times where you do not care about the customer. Really, this is what you are going to do every time? Than i am not home because i did not know and they tell me that they will only deliver 3 times. Second time they claim to have been here but they have NOT delivered, liars also. And even worse i made one purchase of 3 items and they are all delivered on different timing, so this delivery experience and me being at home the whole day for 3 items (a mouse, keyboard and monitor). It seems like i also go the old fashion way and buy the same articles from Challenger, that is less time and maybe even cheaper. This was indeed the last time i purchased from Lazada.
Furthermore can you now please deliver my items or maybe better, just refund me and i go shopping at challenger.

Virtually non-existent customer service. Chatbots and no real email to get hold off. Useless trying to return a deflective item, it's just an agonizing goose chase.
Goods are great, service have been prompt and of good quality. Shipments are sometimes slow but always within the promised dates so far. Great experience so far with Lazada.
Horrible experience per title:
Bad customer service, defaults customer service back to sellers in china, which is of course well known for their inability to take care of customers.
My order did not come after a mth wait and it still showing as "out for delivery" in the lazada system.
Contacted help service on 10Jan and was referred to their resolution team and was told the system will automatically cancel the order and do a refund on the 14Jan.
On 14Jan contacted lazada again about the item still not cancelled and the resolution sent me a email indicating a waiting period of another 15days.
They must be kidding or sleeping.
No real actuon tacken and solution given.
The resolution team is totally ineffective.
Today is 15Jan and the order is still in my system "to recieve".
Lazada is a total joke!

Bought a lot from Lazada SG, and then for the first time a faulty item (iwatch strap band) was delivered and i had to interact with Lazada customer service, well it was the most helpless exchange of emails i had. Sent photos and tried to explain that item was faulty and i could not were it, i was continuously replied that item is not faulty because it does not fit my wrist... eventually i gave up. BUT NEVER ANYMORE FROM LAZADA SG.
Multiple missing items, poor customer service. Even after the initial Long list of missing items, the same thing recurred when I reordered the ‘missing item'! Unbelievable.
I was given a notice of delivery for 7 June. Waited till 11pm but nothing was delivered. The next day, status showed delivery failed because item was refused at doorstep. So, it was scheduled to deliver on 8 June. I waited till near midnight. Again, nothing was delivered. This morning, status showed delivery failed at 00 02 and rescheduled for delivery on 9 June.
I had a chat with live agent. He said he could not check the delivery time for third attempt. I told him to check with the logistic team. He passed me a contact number to do it myself. Then, the line forever went unanswered.
Lazada, surely you can do better than this right? It would be good that you indicate your delivery timing clearly and keep to it. If you failed to deliver within the day, shouldn't the item be delivered first the next time? From what I see, it will be added to the delivery schedule after the next day's delivery is completed. This means to say, your guys just do not need to redeliver.
I am staying in housing estate, HDB flat. It is not those private estate which may be out of the way for you to deliver the item.
