My overall experience with Lazada has been positive. I have been shopping on their platform since April 2020. Out of the 65 items i ordered since then, only 1 item was not delivered, which later Lazada refunded me for it. The items are mostly delivered within the scheduled time frame. I personally preferred their delivery partner, Ninja Van for their responsiveness. The return process is almost seamless. Best to check and reject an item upon delivery, for better chances of refund. However, I urge Lazada to improve on their customer service. The automatic response system can be frustrating. We prefer human to human communication. A customer service hotline would be great :)

Terrible experience. Lazada refused my return even though I was within the return window. They hid behind a technicality, denying a refund or exchange. Zero flexibility or support—definitely wouldn't recommend.

I bought "Item Name: Apple AirPods pro with Wireless Charging Case | Wireless Earphone Bluetooth Headphone for iPhone iPad MacBook iPod Apple Watch Factory stocked goods, with Order Number: **************" from Lazada online store.

After receiving the product, I realized that the product is fake with serial number different on both pack and device and device totally malfunctioning worst than a local made blutooth headphones. Contacted the customer support and below is the response after 1 week...
"We are very sorry to inform you that we are unable to process the request. We are only accepting return for counterfeit if the item was purchase via Lazmall.
"We have checked the product description and it was stated that this item is OEM ( Original Equipment Manufacturer) hence, the item is not authentic. We hope this clarifies. Our sincerest apologies for the trouble this has caused you. Thank you for your patience and understanding"

This OEM they mention in a small font which dosent grab your attention. Bunch of fake guys operating this store. Just avoid buying from Lazada.

Item arrive late and damage, customer service unhelpful. Better to get the items at amazon at least their customer service do not suck

No one will respond to your request for refund. You can't talk to any customer service. They only direct you to a machine to answer your query.

Bought portable wifi router, followed instructions after arriving Balkans to initiate ICC card for 15 days use, router setup went through but was unstable, so used so pare phone and ICC card worked well, initiated return of router, ask to return at pop station near home I e. SSC 500m away BUT was instructed to return at singpost itself i. E. 39 Greenwich drive, upon arrival found pop station under maintenance & was told by singpost attendant that scanner not useable even manual entry will be rejected although accessible, so asked customer care for return to lazada warehouse next building 37 Greenwich drive but was told warehouse refused to accept return & customer care says will collect from home instead, apptm was 14/6/19 return attempt was 12/6/19; but no collection occurred, so had to call CC again to reinitiate unfulfilled promise of collection by lazada BUT no news yet, expecting email confirmation for new return tracker & apptm date & time, wonder if lazada is reneging on return policy.

Same problem as well. Lazada just auto-deduct from my visa card when I didn't even sign up. Unscrupulous way of doing business!

I will never order things through Lazada again! Faulty items, fake merchants, rude service support! It adds more stress than make life easier.

Lazada do not deserve even 1 star. They used to be a great platform to shop at, but not anymore! They prioritise money more than the well-being of its customers.

I bought an OSIM uPulse Mat EMS Leg Massager after reading about it on its website on 11 November 2022. I am suffering from leg pains for almost a year and on the website, OSIM promises that the mat will combat various leg problems including pain relief. The mat supposedly "utilises Electrical Muscle Stimulation that delivers muscle-deep invigorating massage" (as quoted on OSIM's website).

I have tried it numerous times at the highest intensity level and I did not feel anything at all. I reached out to OSIM, and the customer service person said that my feet is too dry and I need to wet my feet. On OSIM website, there is no mention about it not working on dry feet and they fail to mention that the mat does not work for everyone.

I then wrote in to Lazada regarding my situation and was assured that my issue will be looked at. After going back and forth for several weeks, the final decision was made that the mat is in working condition, and since it's not a faulty item, they will not issue me a refund.

I've highlighted my issue several times that it has nothing to do with a faulty mat. My issue is that the mat is incompatible with my feet. I even tried to do damp my feet, although I find it to be ridiculous and I still don't feel anything even when it was set at the highest intensity level.

On 13 December, I received an email from your dispute team and said they've rejected my claim for a refund because they found that mat is in working condition (again missing the point that the mat is incompatible with me), and OSIM will ship the mat back in 3 to 5 days.

First of all, both OSIM and LAZADA are missing the point that the mat is incompatible with me. I have sent them videos of it and I am at my wits end to prove to you that it is incompatible and it doesn't deliver the results that OSIM promises on its website. How else can I put this across so that you can understand me?

Also, as OSIM has rejected my claim for a refund, and they were supposed to return me the mat in 3 to 5 days as of 13 December, I still have yet to receive the mat. What is going on?

Tip for consumers:
Both OSIM and Lazada only cares about their bottom line (profit).

My first purchase with Lazada was a nightmare due to incomplete address given to third party vendor by Lazada. Customer Service agents kept asking me to repeat my address and instigating that I was the one given the wrong address. Parcel was left at speedpostfor a week and no one bother to contact post office to redeliver the parcel. I decided to send email to the CEO and according to the next CS agent told me she will handle my case. I waited for few days and still noticed the parcel still not fixed with post office. According to post office they told me so far they have not receive any call from Lazada. But Lazada CS agent told me they have contacted them. Who is telling the true? I couldnt wait any longer decided to call the post office and reconfirm the address with them. What they told me is incomplete of unit number. I even told the Lazada CS agent the mistakes. Same problems arrises for my 2nd & third orders. 2nd order was fortunate that the post office despatch took the initiative called me to reconfirm the address. They have the right not to do cos they do not work for Lazada. However the 3rd parcel now with post office for days pending for redelivery. I sent 2 emails to CEO and the assigned CS agent 2 days ago till now no responses?

Bought the $9.90 perfume deals! FRKING WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! THE PERFUME AND THE ONE I BOUGHT AT ROBINSONS SMELLS TOTALLY DIFFERENT! YOU SHOULD HAVE A SYSTEM TO CHECK PLEASE! OMG!

11/11/2019 I buy one item ROG strix fusion gaming headset on Lazada I done order and payment I use my voucher everything no problem and until next day 12/11/2019 morning 9am the seller call and tell me this item already confirm sure No more stock form supplier in Singapore market the seller say to me will replace other model gaming headset for me ROG strix delta I feeling so weird why I need to accept I already done my payment and no any special Description the stock in the page when i check. The most Weird is I already done cancel and claim my refund and I lose my voucher too this not big deal to me but I still can saw the seller publish same item in Lazada and can place order and payment?!
I msg the seller they answer is not yet update stock (I no sure what they means)
After two days 14/11/19 my money still pending on refund page but I check the item they still publish on Lazada and no problem?! No stock anymore at Singapore but they still selling?! Bad experience really need to beware

I ordered Akira ACP-91M 9000BTU Portable Air-Con from LAZADA (seller: LUCKY STORE) with standard delivery on 27 Sep 2016, received notice "ur order is being shipped" on 28/9, and "your order has been fully delivered" on 29/9 but I did NOT receive anything! Tried to contact LAZADA on the same day, and I was told to give them 24h. On 30 Sep no reply, I had to chat again, and had to give them another 24h... MOnday (3 Oct) had to email and chat with LAZADA again, still no response from the seller.
LAZADA said they can only contact with seller via email (?). They said I can't request a RETURN as I haven'r received the item. Then I also CAN NOT request to cancel the item, because the status said the item has been delivered! And asked to give them another 24-48h. I had no other option!

On Tue (4/10), they emailed at 9.45pm informing that the item will be delivered tomorrow. And I confirmed Wednesday is OK for me.
Waited. Waited for whole day, nothing delivered. I emailed LAZADA again at 9.10 pm.

And today (7/10), there is still no reply from LAZADA!

I have been a loyal customer of Lazada for many many years and while some purchases seem to get cancelled for no reasons I was generally ok with the products and service. However, my last purchase of a sofa left a really sour experience.

Fri 6 Nov - my purchase finally arrived 4 days later than latest date indicated, even though the tracking claimed item had arrived in late oct.

The delivery guys at ZTO just chucked my purchase at my Condo carpark saying it could not fit into my lift. This was with wrapping on it still. I brought down scissors to remove the wrapping so that it could fit into the lift but the guys said they had to leave in a hurry but will come back to bring up to my house if it can fit into the lift.

Upon opening up a bit of the package, I saw Damage to 2 of the legs and called Lazada immediately. Ace attended to me and sent me the relevant forms to fill in for pick up. Called back the hotline and got hold of some male agent to confirm whether to click on returns or taobao bulky item and he insisted just returns will do.

After doing all that, I was waiting stupidly around in the carpark for a pick up as I had stressed several times to Lazada that my condo did not allow my item to be chucked at the carpark and it needed to removed that very day! However after calling ninjavan, I was told that pick up was scheduled for only next Monday!

I called back Lazada and was told there was nothing they could do so I had to go beg my condo management to find me a place to stash the sofa. Thank goodness they took pity on me.

Today, 9 Nov - emailed back to Lazada‘s email on pick up and got a message saying that this mode of contact had been discontinued and do not reply?!
Also messaged Ninjavan early in the morning and informed them to give me a more accurate timing cos I would have to arrange with my condo management to retrieve the sofa. Yes I mentioned sofa. Ninjavan assured me the delivery guy was already on the way.

Alas when the ninjavan guy came, he was shocked cos all he came with was a small van and he showed me his delivery instructions which said small item. He said he will call back his supervisor and see how. I also called Lazada and JD and later Joy said they will arrange.

My condo only allows me to keep the sofa till today in their holding room. Who knows when the pick will be and whether it will even happen today. I can only pray as I wait stupidly... in the carpark again.
