My overall experience with Lazada has been positive. I have been shopping on their platform since April 2020. Out of the 65 items i ordered since then, only 1 item was not delivered, which later Lazada refunded me for it. The items are mostly delivered within the scheduled time frame. I personally preferred their delivery partner, Ninja Van for their responsiveness. The return process is almost seamless. Best to check and reject an item upon delivery, for better chances of refund. However, I urge Lazada to improve on their customer service. The automatic response system can be frustrating. We prefer human to human communication. A customer service hotline would be great :)
Terrible experience. Lazada refused my return even though I was within the return window. They hid behind a technicality, denying a refund or exchange. Zero flexibility or support—definitely wouldn't recommend.
Urgh, ordered from them on 2 separate occassions and on both ocassions, neither product arrived. Didn't even receive a call, and while still settling with customer service, they even had the audacity to send me an email saying that case was closed?
Terrible terrible delivery service
Recently I ordered 2 essential oil burners. One was received a week ago and the other one was never delivered. Lazada only on today sent a notification that items were delivered. I contacted their customer service and was routed to a so called specialist. After repeating the story, the Specialist indicated that the second item was sent by untracable mail and he will close the chat!
What kind of service is this? Q10 will at least get their seller to show proof of delivery. Lazada just want our money but they never care if we get the good. The worst online App in the market. Buy at your own risk.
Do not buy branded products from them. I bought a pair of sunglasses and some fragrances before, no way are they authentic. The fragrance smelt different frm what i have been using for the past 13 years and the sunglasses quality looks lousier than what it is supposed to be!
Lazada expected me as a customer to know their products SKU code which was more than 20 illegible characters to search for what I wanted instead of their specific webpage having a list to select the desired colour of the product. Had to wait double the period for that same item reordered in a different color due to Lazada's expertise in handling this matter. What's worse is that they just gave a lip-service apology and not really do their end to rectify the matter
Promises on delivery expedition by associate A which were subsequently denied by associate B; despite being provided with full livechat evidence. Upon escalation of issue, associate C stepped in with no resolution whatsoever except the traditional scripted "we are sorry" template but really we cannot be bothered and cannot do anything else except to repeat our script as often as needed. And the gerrymandering goes on and on and on with progressively less responsive scripted "we do apologize" templates that are devoid of purpose except to repeat itself over. No ownership of customer service process, no supervisor, no audit, no non-humanoid feedback responses and the circus continues until the dense or hopeful customer gives up
Long story short, 1st fan purchase, came in faulty, requested for an exchange, item collected back, we were without a fan and waited for a month just to know the item is out of stock. Ok fine, purchase a different model, order came in wrong. Request to do 1 to 1 exchange, can't do. Have to send the item back first and god know how long I've got to wait again this time. Asked to purchase the wrong item with a price offset, can't oblige too. So yea lizarda is good when your item arrives correct and in good order, else good luck.
Bought a mobile phone which the seller indicated Local Singapore Manufacturer Warranty. After receiving the phone, I check with the authorise local service centre and was shock that the phone is not cover under local warranty. Lazada initially claim that the phone is covered under Local warranty as it was advertised with local warranty. But later change its statement after verifying with the seller and allow me to return the item. The return process was a nightmare when lazada kept dragging while holding to my money.

First, when my parcel is already reached at post office you didn't tell me the exact destination to collect my parcel. So, I just can search myself through the website by the tracking no. Given, but I still can't get the exact destination. After that I contact with your staff, I ask him/her where can I collect my items, and give him/her my order no. He/she ask me to wait 24-48hours for the answer because he/she also don't where is my parcel now. After the day, the driver called me, he said that he already outside my home, the time he called me I'm not at home, I feel very funny why you don't call me earlier to make sure that whether I am at home or not? Then, he just leave my things outside the door! I just want to ask where is his responsibility!? The main thing is I order 2 items you just sent me one item... The worst online shop... Just once... I won't use this apps again...
Item delivered different from purchased, returned and requested correct item to be delivered. ITEM NEVER CAME. Despite emails, chats enquiry and even telephone calls, NO ONE can tell me if there is stock, or redelivery is going to happen. Frustrated, requested for refund, was told refund subject to approval n process by "Warehouse team". No definite date for response. Mistake made by Lazada. Payment collected by Lazada. Failure to deliver by Lazada. Decision to refund or no by Lazada. Where are my rights as a client? I should be entitled to have my money back, not wait for them to approve refund of my money. Customer service said 'they can't do anything'. What a sham of a business...
I bought $75.38 Bobbi Brown skin serum from Lazada. The item came in different from the display, old, manual expiry sticker, bottom broken and seller refused for refund. When I called and dispute seller refuser, Lazada said seller rejected because I have opened the bubble wrap. I am shocked to hear that from Lazada (supposed to have common sense). Then the replied by asking me to return the item to seller then the seller will decide on the resolution. Ridiculous! Read Lazada response below:

Bought some items but when I checked the delivery status, it was stated as ‘refunded'. LAZADA did not inform or alert me that my purchase was refunded. However, I have not gotten my money back after a few weeks and several calls to LAZADA were futile as the customer service people were perpetually engaged. It could be money gone. Be careful when buying from LAZADA.

They go around in circles, and pushes everything to the "higher management" when asked for an answer. They will also only "put in request" when you ask for anything. Nothing gets done when you contact them. Call them and they will bring out the Karen in you.
Totally unprofessional Seller and the returns experience was the most horrible.
We returned the defective item via NinjaVan (who made the mistake of delivering the item to my house/Buyer). We then had to personally make a trip down to Seller office at Sim Lim Square to return the item in person.
One week later, we receive an email from the "professional" Lazada robot team telling us that the dispute case is closed! And reason given: Buyer did not return item. The best part, we cannot reply the email because its auto-generated.
I find this entire experience extremely unfair to the Buyer and so unprofessional. I would NEVER buy again from Lazada or this Seller. This is a SCAM to put it simply.
Right now, i have ZERO options and NO recourse to either Lazada or the Seller. Talk about fair market practices. Talk about good conduct. The way we've been treated in this entire process is the WORST and i'm so disappointed by Lazada.
I have ordered few items from this website last month. None of them got delivered. You will have to Wait for a month for a month for the items to be delivered, and they do not delivered and at the end they will just give you refund. Please do not waste your time
Buggy Website for seller & insufficient learning resources. This Company only focus on $$$ marketing promotions and customers, doesn't care about sellers. Technical difficulties take 1 month to resolve.
I bought an Iphone XS from lazada in december, and while delivery was prompt and smooth, I realised that my phone had a slight glue stain at the back and requested for a refund since it was unsightly, and if i had to pay over $1000 for something i would want it to be close to perfect. Lazada approved of my request and took my phone back for reevaluation, but refused to grant me a replacement even though the problem is clearly there. My question is: if they were not willing to grant me a replacement in the first place why collect my phone back and waste my time? I have clearly said that it was the only defect FROM THE START so its not like they didn't know or that i deceived them. Moreover, their resolution officers are incredibly unhelpful, and they always seem to give the same few standard responses, as if they didn't even read my followup emails. I am incredibly disappointed and angry, and I will not purchase from lazada again.
I have placed order and am waiting for them to deliver but on the day of delivery, they cancel my order! They say is out of stock. When I place my order the item was available! And that was 3 days ago, don't u reserve the item for customer who have already paid for it and waiting for it to deliver? How can u last minute cancel the order? If u don't have it u shouldn't let ppl order and collect our hard earn money, if u state clearly u don't have the stock, we can look from other place and use the money for the available item we want. So obvious that lazada have not keeping their system well and they r really not up to the standards. Will stop using the lousy online shop.
If you are ordering small value item which not required warranty, you are fine with lazada.
Lazada.sg is another type of fraudulence. Be careful when you are buying from Lazada about warranty. They never honor warranty even the product is defective. They keep on dragging my refund after they receive returned faulty item. They wont notify what so ever when the received returned item. It's funny that Lazada said they are ready to face Amazon.

I am delighted to share my Experience with Lazada. The Lazada team is always helpful in resolving issues on products delivered and compensating on certain cases by benefiting customers. Lazada is Only online store in Singapore which i can easily trust with great Service. I tried many online services like Ezbuy, aliexpress, Q0010 etc. all are pathetic. They don't have any return policy & they have expensive shipping. Lazada is far superior in term of service. Only problem with Lazada is that they made me more shopaholic :) :)
Alot fake stuffs issues by shops by opening the seal and put fake stuffs or used product and sent to customers we cant do anything like leave bad feedback to warn others thus shops keep use it as an advantage to cheat customers. Should implement the feedback of shops to retain customers.
No way to communicate to seller, lazada doesnt even care about customer service or user friendliness. Worse site ever visited. Brought 2 items only received 1, customer service is uncontactable and live chat not working. What kind of site is this, poor customer oriented site. No delivery status or shipping tracking. Charges full amount for shipping but no tracking. Received product is the worse, rusty product, damaged and no way to contact customer service. Refund still require to go thru return hassle. I am a very regular customer of redmart and I ordered 6 bottles of Chandon that came in a case. I opened the first bottle and it was corked which means it has not been sealed properly. It is therefore undrinkable. I opened a second bottle straight away and it was also corked. The other 4 bottles remain undrinkable. I contacted redmart and they told me that because I ordered it over 7 days ago they will not refund or exchange. I sent them pictures to show the two opened but undrunk bottles and said they could even collect them! I spent nearly $200 that they will not give me back to exchange. Champagne is not something that is obviously faulty/ non consumable like other food. It's also not something you just open straight away! I had bought this for a special event! I just Will have no choice other than to go through the small claims court.
I bought this L9997. Lazada vendor charge SGD69. Shopee charge SGD27. Lazada has big branding due to advertisement but does not live up to its brand. I will not buy from Lazada again unless there is absolutely no other options.

It is best not to shop with Lazada they are very poor. On sep 28th 2015 I made my first order with them. After taking to money they cancelled 3 days later as the item was never in stock in the first place. On Dec 15th I ordered some speakers from them but they did not work and I had to return them. On the 31st of May I ordered an ipad from them and was informed to day that they never had it in stock so have cancelled the order again. 3 attempts to use them, 3 failures and shoddy communication and customer service the whole way through. This is an amateur company masquerading as a professional outfit. 3 strikes and you are out!
