There were a few hiccups but the company sent laborers out to fix the problem within the week. They were apologetic and thoughtful as they made their product as it should be. I have not been on top of the roof but hope all is exactly what they said. Job OKC 15195

They wanted to send a man and charge me $95. I told them not to send him as I didn't see why I should pay when the problem was due to shoddy installation or defective product.
It was a total rip-off, bait-and-switch sales pitch made by an ex-marine veteran. A guy you think would be honest. I thought I was getting gutters with filters but all I got was gutters! Not worth the price for just gutters! The salesman was misleading. Leaf "FILTER" means a filter system. The salesman told me all about the proprietary surgical material they use on the filter and never mentioned the fact that I was not getting the filter system, just the gutters. I paid $1,000 for 51 feet of gutters and two down spouts. Only ½ of the required ground tubing was installed. The job was completed in under 90 minutes by four non-English speaking men. Of course, I had no idea that Leaf "FILTER" made gutters without the filter. If I had climbed a ladder and seen that there was no filter system, I would have refused payment and told the men to remove the gutters. No, I did my part and paid for the work, but it was not the work or product I was led to believe I had contracted for.
When I complained online at *******@leaffilter.com, I got no response. Calling *******566 resulted in a phone call from a guy that says they did everything that was in the contract by installing just the gutters. The filters would be at least $800 more.
When I complained, he pointed out that the contract had written only "gutters." He denies any wrongdoing by the salesman.
Now after reading the reviews of the filter system, maybe God did me a "favor" because the filters just clog up. I'm lucky that I live in an area where freezing is not an issue, as the filters freeze and cause ice bridging.
Wish I had visited Sitejabber.com before I saw the LeafFilter sales rep. Job # TAL*******

I had Leaf Filter system installed in March of 2023 and it failed in February of 2024. It's life time warranty does not cover snow and Ice that forms on the gutter screen. This should not be sold in the northern states that get Snow and Ice on the roofs. There factory representative told me to contact my insurance company to cover the damages. This company won't stand behind there Live time warranty. Going to court to settle this claim. Tom Anderson Elma, NY

I asked to be removed from the call list, but they continue to call me twice per day even at night. I consider this a harassing sales tactic. They should stop calling me. When I block one number, they call me on another. I don't know what their problem is, but their behavior is really bad. Based on this harassment I would never buy their product.

I needed simple gutter repairs to existing gutters. I made the mistake of filling out a request for quote with what was represented as a local gutter service (nowhere did the site say LeafFilter), result from a Google search
My contact info was sent over to Leaf filter and I've been getting wake up calls every morning. Blocking the number won't work, you get another automated call from a different no. I called them and asked them to remove my contact info. I'll see if it works. I don't appreciate the bait n switch marketing. I can't afford thousands for gutters and have no patience for hard sell tactics.

Had a rep.come to my house for an estimate. After a sales pitch he offered new gutters for $14,700.
I have a 1 story 1900 sf home.
Almost 15K for gutters, really. I told him "no way". In less than 2 min. He dropped the price to $11,500
This is a total rip off company that preys on the un-informed.

Whatever you do, if you are looking for gutter guards, do not, I repeat, do not, get Leaf Filter! It cost over $5,000. & they do not work. Everything settles on top of the mesh & the water cannot get through. When the rep came here to give us her sales pitch, she said that the mesh is "medical grade stainless & the debris slides right off of them". RIGHT! Flat out lie! I feel completely taken advantage of & ripped off. I so wish that I didn't buy into her BS! You need to go onto roof even MORE than without these gutter guards on the gutters to get the debris off, unless you want flooding and all of your landscaping or porch, front stoop, whatever you have to be damaged from the pouring water going over it! If I had the money, I would sue to get these removed from my home. Stay away from Leaf Filter, whatever you do, unless you have no trees in your yard. Then you wouldn't need them in the first place!

If you have pine trees on your property, you won't benefit from Leaffilter. The pine needles collect on top of the screening and back up onto the roof, causing shingle damage. I paid over $3,900 for Leaffilter. When I called them, they want to charge me $95 to clean the pine needles off of the gutters. I am 77 years old. They advertise that you will never need to get up on a ladder again. Don't believe them. This product should never be sold to anyone having issues with pine needles.

They also tell the buyer that they will give a refund if you are not happy with the product. That's not true.

While you may have to brush off any debris that doesn't blow off on its own - you won't have to clean your gutters out.
Unlike their commercials, LeafFilter requires cleaning if you have any trees around the house. Even when the filter is clean, rain water runs directly over the screen and down the side of house. The system has damaged my home from rotten siding, soffit, eve, etc. to the cost of $20,000.
I gave them an extra star in the rating because they will come out and service the gutters under the warranty However, the warranty does not cover everything and I have had to spend a small fortune fixing the problem that the filter and their gutters left behind.

I hired this company to fix a dripping gutter almost a year ago, since then they cut out my leaf filter to try and fix it but it just got worst and now they left me hanging with a huge overflow of water coming down and a hanging uneven gutter. Problem just got worse every time the come and fiddle around with it. They also have a no refund policy so be aware of this company

This product doesn't work when it snows. The mesh freezes and when starts to melt the water goes over the rain gutters. Then icicles form. Making it dangerous on entrance sidewalk into home. But warm months works great

The guttering was installed incorrectly and I had leakage damage all over my Victorian home. The guy that came to look at my complaint didn't show up twice and then when he did come I believe he was drinking! He ended up getting mad and taking his ladder and leaving! We are getting someone else to fix their junk and installation. They don't respond to complaints even corporate is rude and they do not respond. This company is not what they are advertising.

Out of the 5 crew they sent only 2 of them could speak English enough to explain to them what they were doing wrong (they didn't listen anyway). They do NOT have their own crews! End cap leaked and damaged my new deck, and they had 5 different crew out to repair. Still not right and they refuse to issue a credit unless I give up my rights to free speech.

Beware the high-pressure sales person who coerces you into a binding contract. Our experience: We actually got about 15% of what was promised in a very polished presentation. The "professional installers" they sent were two-bit gutter hacks. The product was incorrectly installed in several places. The work was amateurish and sloppy and omitted items in our contract. Disappointing.

I had my gutters installed last November, 2022. I have a metal roof and was VERY SPECIFIC in questioning if it would work with snow sliding off. I was told numerous times it would work fine.
This winter the gutters were destroyed. The snow falling off the roof caused damage. Ice built up in the gutters. At least there's a warranty I thought!
When I called in the spring I was told that they will come out and give me an estimate to fix them.
What about the warranty? And no way do I want them fixed, they need to be taken down anyways as they very likely are causing damage hanging off the eves of my house! The warranty only covers "clogging". Not at all as it was portrayed by the sales representative.
I am VERY disappointed. They are coming for my "estimate" in 3 weeks. I will happily update this review if I get my money refunded and the gutters taken down and away.

Hired leaf filter for gutter covers. Horrible job. They did NOT do 1 thing they said they'd do. Violently jammed cover under overhanging shingle and bent shingle over 90 degrees causing damage. Shingles covered 2 1/4 inches of cover, blocking half the gutter. Customer service rep comes out and says they need to cut shingles back. Something the salesman stressed they would never do. He walked of the job with no viable solution. Filed complaint with MN Attorney Generals office which leaf filter totally disregarded. Filed complaint with BBB. Will see if it gets a response. Next is a law suit.

Yes, I had to leave filter stole gutters and leaf filter system in 2020. They sold the back gutter all the way up against the shingles. So now the water is flowing back underneath the shingles and then back into the house which is closing major damage if anybody is going to use them make sure that they do the job right and you have somebody there. They can look at it before they leave, now they've done all kinds of damage to the walls. Now I have to replace all the sheet rock. Now they don't wanna come out and do anything about it. They keep on telling you that they are.

Buyer beware! They will happily sell you their expensive leaf filtration system. They will tell you how fantastic it works. They will tell you it has a great warranty. The big kick in your pants comes when their "great product " FAILS to work and develops a significant problem. They will charge YOU a $95 service fee or trip charge to come repair their failed product. Even after they left us waiting ALL DAY for their repair tech who never showed, they still wouldn't waive the trip charge for their rescheduled repair. I'm feeling very frustrated over all this. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable company that stands behind their work. Looking forward to seeing them at one of our local fall festivals. Might just pack a cooler and sit in a folding chair warning potential customers about their terrible service.

As a former Windsor office leaf filter installer I can tell you that the salesman will include a larger footage estimate by 20 to 30 feet often (salesman leif ingalls), the installers do not clean the gutters well, do not seal the gutters well, do not clear the down spouts ever & will damage your roof by their inexperienced walking on the shingles hot also tearing your roof up with the filters. If you had to have a service call for your faulty installation you will get a technician named eddy who doesn't know how to use half of the tools that he has got. This product is expensive and you'll get this service 9/10 times for around $7000 dollars. Its a poor office where not a single person there knows how to work with gutters & gutters are as simple as it gets.

Hold the hand of the Windsor office leaf filter associates the entire time they are on your property or you will be charged excessively for what ends up to be damage to your home.

I researched this product online and was contacted by them. I agreed for an appointment and found the representative very polite and knowledgeable. I was impressed with the demonstration and guarantee. The installation went great and the technician really knew his job. He was surprised that we had chipmunks climbing up the inside of our gutter drains. He installed screens at no extra charge. We just had a real heavy rain storm and I observed that these units work amazing. We are extremely pleased with our experience with this company.

They charged us to clean the gutters and left most Of the debris is on the ground how are you gonna charge somebody to clean something and leave the mess but just move it to the ground and out of the gutter it's ridiculous
