There were a few hiccups but the company sent laborers out to fix the problem within the week. They were apologetic and thoughtful as they made their product as it should be. I have not been on top of the roof but hope all is exactly what they said. Job OKC 15195
/something didn't look right so I got up the ladder and found that the end of a panel was curled up, allowing leaves to enter the gutter. I called the LeafFilter office in Baton Rouge, LA. They wanted to send a man and charge me $95. I told them not to send him as I didn't see why I should pay when the problem was due to shoddy installation or defective product.
Salesperson was deceptive and dishonest. Misrepresented their product. Several issues with their technicians including but not limited to one of their technicians causing property damage. I was berated and insulted by their sales manager. I have been placing weekly complaints to their corporate customer service but without any assistance. They keep telling me that they have had several people encounter issues with their Tampa office and I would receive a call from their regional office who would assist with a resolution. It's been a month and a half and still no call back. Never been scammed this bad before by a vendor.

Put on wrong color. Didn't fix holes in gutter. Put filters under shingles in places. Put the filter over leaves in one gutter. Only did the back on the house and said they wouldn't do the front.
Called the day there put it on and told them to take it off.

A Lifetime warranty and when I called for repair they said it was storm damage they had never look at it. The workers that did the repair said the system was old and needed replacement that it wasn't storm damage. They called to get ok and was told no. I got a call after to give a card number to pay and I refused. He said something to the effect I was refusing to pay for work done because of storm damage. It was not storm damage and I have a lifetime warranty. Very unhappy with the care given of the lifetime warranty for the system. The workers are very great to work with.

We were scheduled for 8am nobody showed. I called at 10am because I didn't want to sit around all day if no one was coming. I got a sorry for no courtesy call but they would be here! 130pm, pickup with ladder racks arrives, 1 man crew no ID on vehicle. Professional 1 man crew put up ladder took major debris from gutter, didn't
Need the hose as he didn't wash the gutters out he just screwed leaf filter on! Sat on the roof to install. 230pm done and gone.
WAY to much money for this kind of job. Nothing came close to what salesman said was going to be done. Clean gutters,check drop, repair any leaking seams,etc. Etc.
I don't recommend leaf filter based on my experience. I hope it works because it's mine now, at 74 I failed to use the old adage measure twice and cut once. I hope this helps someone.

Job could not be fully completed on the first visit 3/28/23. Part of the house being renovated. The crew said, they will be in two days, and not need for me to re-scheduled. They never did, and I' still waiting 3/31/23. When custormer service was contacted, they were very nasty, unprofessional/Disgruntled. When I called back, the person did not have a clue of the problem, and also had an attitude. I'm trying to contact corporate headquaters but phones or address are is not advertized in the web.A $7,000.00 job Check for $5,000.00 is still here with me, but they have to complete the job. Unnessary arrogance in the way they treat customers.

I got scammed into installing Leaf Filter in Feb 2023. O am writing this review in June 2023.
I have a 3 storey house and thought it would help reducing the gutter cleaning. Since then, I have had to call them multiple times for an overflow issue in few places. Apparently in places where rooflines meet, a bit of debri sits there and causes water to overflow.
They came and installed some splash guards in these areas. It works fine in some spots - but not in others. Particularly my balcony where the overflow of water has led the water into my sliding door and the water has come inside the house damaging base boards. So definitely not worth the money - they are not working and instead causing damage.
I have called them to come fix this. Technician gave me a date but didn't show up. After I called again said he will come in 2 days to investigate.
I don't not have trust that this company will be able to do anything and will keep making excuses. To prevent causing any further damage I am seriously considering taking them all off at my expense.
I do NOT recommend this product or company. You are better off having your gutters cleaned regularly.

During the COVID Shutdown of July 2020, leafFilter came out and did a wonderful job repairing and replacing gutters that were damaged by trees banging against my home. I have never had an issue with the quality of their work. Recently, a pair of eagles were circling overhead while I was outside. I wondered what they were hunting for and apparently, it was the squirrel sitting at the edge of my roof on top of my gutters. I told Customer Service my downspouting was knocked out of place and I feel like I should be calling NASA at Mission Control to report " The Eagle Has Landed." LeafFilter took care of it.

I would NOT recommend Leaf filter to anybody! Their whole sales pitch was that you would never use a ladder again when it came to your gutters. Based on their reply below it was a big lie!
"Leaf-Filter" Roof debris is typically a maintenance item to be taken care of by the home owner as needed.
"Leaf-Filter" However, some home owners decide to clear the roof instead during periods of heavy debris build up to be more proactive. This can be done without getting on a ladder, depending on the height of your home. The first way would be to get a Roof Brush. A roof brush is a soft-bristled deck brush on an extendable pole that can reach up to around 2 stories, depending on the one you buy. They were originally intended to bring snow down off of roofs but they work just as well with leaves! Some of the more expensive ones even have a swivel head to make getting into corners much easier. The second thing you could do is get an extension arm for your leaf blower. These usually reach to about a story, story and a half. Both of these items can be bought from your local hardware stores or even on Amazon.

Salesman named Justin strong armed my wife with pushy sales tactics. When my wife told him she'd have to talk with me he had her sign paperwork as he told her it was he did an estimate and provided a quote. I got home and read the paperwork and found out it was an actual contract for installation of $3500. I had my wife called Justin immediately and cancel which he said fine. The very next day while we were at work Justin had the installers come to our home. They left an incredible mess with metal pieces all over our yards available for our dogs to get at. I called with a less than nice message informing him to come remove the crap off our house because we weren't paying for anything under such shady sales tactics. I received a certified letter from a Trina Williams stating since we didn't cancel the order we'd have to pay $3500. I informed this woman we did cancel with the salesman and not only did he say fine. He still sent the installers out the very next day. This is the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. I've even called their 800 number three times and after speaking with three different people saying it would be dealt with, we're still getting harassed by this company!

The LEAFFILTER salesperson measured my house for gutter footage which he said was 395lin ft (WRONG) i measured it at 355 lin ft 40 lin ft RIP OFF wait it gets better.
After a very good sales pit the quote was $******* but with todays only discount the price was $******* I told him that was way to expensive he asked how much did you want to spend about $7000.

Very high priced to start out with, then the rep negotiates it much lower to make you think you are getting a great deal. After installation, in about a month, you find out just the opposite. Debri and pine needles start sticking in the screening, and water splashes over the edges of the gutters. The installers came out a couple times. First time, splash guards were placed at valleys where water overflow were like waterfalls. This helped some. However, second time out, they did what they called a water test and discovered that the guards were doing exactly what we were complaining about even on the straight line areas, and the man said he would write up and send in the report. We requested removal of the guards and our money back, and were refused. We notified the credit card company, and it is being negotiated now. Asked for a charge back because the product does not do what was promised. Do not know the outcome yet, but needing guards removed before winter when snow and ice will become a problem. May end up taking this to court to get settled.

Do not purchase this filter system. It is not a filter system. It is a clog system. The advertising is false and deceptive. The warranty is useless. The warranty says that you will have clog free gutters and everything on their site says that your gutters won't have grit and pollen and etc. Your gutters won't have any of that in it because their filter gets clogged and does not let anything get through to the gutter including the water. The water pours over the side and will damage your home. The management and owners running this company are unethical and they do not care about you. If you call them with a problem, and start complaining they will cut you off. If you try to put ratings on websites about them, they have them removed. That's why when you go to certain ratings sites they have good ratings. Only places like Google and yelp usually leave the ratings up. The product is defective and you should avoid them at all cost. Do your research. Look up the class action lawsuit against them. It will tell you everything you need to know about their product.

They caused damage to my home with their defective product that they know is defective. They refuse to do anything about it, blame us for their clogged filter and won’t remove the filter. They are rude, refuse to communicate and take down negative reviews and comments. There are thousands of victims.

Ok a guy came out to give us an estimate, he started at $2500 then he went down to $2100 and then he went to $1250, we agreed on that and start next Monday, then i get a text saying they had material left over from a large commercial job, the same color and size i needed but never heard anything else, two weeks went by we called and called all three numbers on the business card, finally they answered and got us back on the calendar for Thursday, on Wednesday I get a call saying the gave me the wrong price and it was gonna be $100 more and I said ok then the next day I was waiting on the workers to show up and I get a phone call saying they had to charge me $100 more and I said yall already changed the quote 3 different times, I finally got feed up and said don't worry about it, i will find someone else that will do the job, please don't waist your time with these people

I called to get an estimate and the guy named Rob came out and quoted me over 14,000 dollars and then he acted like he was giving all these discounts to help and brought it down to over 8,000 dollars so I got ahold of corporate which the guy named Ray called me and was rude wouldn't hardly let me talk just kept taking up for his salesman rob they both are con artist trying to take advantage of people and rip them off he even asked me what would I like to pay then if I could choose then why did you try to over price me in the first place see I could have brought them alot of business but I don't deal with companies like that they both need to take a look at there selves because you treat people how you would want to be treated and when you do people dirty it will come back to you I'm a firm believer in that I've seen it happen with other people I would have went with them but like I said they are a company trying to rip people off so DO NOT GO WITH THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING TOOK ADAVANTAGE OF!

Quick the local company is. Quick to get the job done. Not quick when it comes to clean up or follow up. The sales individual was pleasant as is the main 1-844 office personnel. However, the installer was quick in a hurry to get home. The excellent cleanup promised to happen after the job-did not happen. Debris was left on my concrete stairs and in the grass. Head office requested photos of the poor cleanup, which were provided. An individual came to evaluate the installation and spent time adjusting a downspout and installing screws. A report was to be generated and a follow up phone call was promised. The report never followed and a phone did not happen. I called in November for a July job. A local manager stated clean up is not his problem. The local office stands behind the system but not the cleanup by the installer which was non-existent. The report will hopefully follow.
There has been no follow-through by the 1-844 number.
Customer service at Leaf Filter seems to flutter around like leaves in the wind.

Buyer beware! Had them price a little job for me, few months back. 25 foot straight run across the back of my carport, maybe 6-8 foot off the ground, with 2 down spouts. His first price to do it was OVER $2100. 00! I like to fell out of the chair I was sitting in when He told me that! O Wait Wait Mr Smith, I can do it for less and He started to redo his first offer of 2100, and said how does $352.00 sound? WELL, I said if you can do it for 352.00, WHY IN THE YOU KNOW WHAT--DID YOU EVEN MAKE ME THE $2100. 00 Offer, O We have to do that, he said. He was all ready to sign me up for 352.00 offer, But he would of been just as quick to sign me up for the 2100 too and smiled all way to his car and bank! If I had been dumb enough to do it for that! I sent him on his way and said I would think about it and let him know... week or so later, I had cooled down and tried calling him 3 times over 3--4 days, Left him message saying I would take the 352 offer, He never called me back! No surprise really.
Like I said, Buyer Beware! They will Rob You & Smile at you the whole time! Don't take the first offer, What ever you do! I'm going to Lowes this week, I bet I can buy what I need to put it all up for at Best little over hundred dollars!

So my neighbor and I had a Leaf Filter salesmen. Both homes had 50' of good gutters PERIOD! Price was $2500+. Got the speech of all gutters cleaned, wiped, re caulked, all leaders cleaned made perfect. All work done by Company personnel. $2500 is $50 per foot. I said NO my neighbor said yes. The next day an old Van with an "Electric Company name with telephone number covered by blue painters tape arrived. One person, driver. Who spoke little English arrived. He was NOT an employee of Leaf Filter. In fact probably not a legal citizen! One man working on ladder and roof. NOT SAFE! Within one hour his installation was complete. Did not clean gutters just removed large debris. Did not wipe gutters. Did not re caulk anything! Did not clean out down leaders. In fact one leader had an "S" installed backwards. This was pointed out to salesmen. Was it fixed? Sure he removed "S" crimped it, re installed it. NO NEW PARTS. Problem is white paint that was inside the leader was now outside and no longer had paint on it. SO now it was a band of Brown. ( see pic)No new $3- part! Leader straps were all loose and never repaired. Sales guaranteed all would be repaired and perfect. $50 per foot for what should be $12 a foot. Paid $2500 for what should be $700- RIPOFF BEWARE LEAF FILTER YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

When I saw the leaffilter commercials I wondered what was going to stop the leaves and pine needles and stuff from piling on top of the filter and causing the same problem. My question was answered by many of your negative reviews. What happens is exactly what one would think would happen, the leaves and pine needles and stuff build on top of the filter and clog your filter. This means that you do in fact have to climb a ladder again and you do in fact have to clean the filter off which is still having to clean your gutter to unclog it. The reason that I have decided NOT to go with leaffilter is not just because of the negative reviews about my question, but about the responses I read from leaffilter themselves. They won't own up to anything like most companies won't and they just come up with a bunch of stupid excuses like most companies do. This is exactly what I figured before I started digging into it but I'm still glad I dug into it to prove to myself that leaf filter is just another worthless lying company.
