After four years of not communicating with LegalZoom they were extremely cooperative on getting my account recovered and up to date. When it came to federal law they were prompt to keep me updated on mandates and regulations. Very professional and well mannered business.
The most horrible customer support and the longest wait times I have ever experienced. I purchased an LLC package with all the bells and whistles to include expedited processing. After two months of waiting, broken promises from customer support ("It will be finished today, we are so sorry for the wait..."), many unanswered questions, no contact, hours on the phone and in chat rooms, and a refusal to refund services not rendered, I cannot recommend LegalZoom.

I canceled my registered agent and they charged me and said I'm not getting my money back. I asked her how do you get the option to cancel online and it doesn't cancel it. She said even though I did that I have to go through secretary of the state and change it. I will never use this site again.

To be clear here, I had no issues with LegalZoom up until this week. I used them to create an LLC in the state of Texas in 2022. I chose to dissolve the LLC in January of 2024 and worked with LegalZoom to do so. They were helpful, I PAID THEM to dissolve it and received all the paperwork in finality in March 2024. Here is where I have an issue with them: they CHARGED me a subscription fee of $249 on July 13,2024, MONTHS after my LLC was dissolved and my subscription was canceled. I spent 2 hours on chat with customer service trying to get a refund for this and they REFUSE to refund me, even though they are no longer my registered agent and not providing any services. DO NOT USE LEGALZOOM unless you want to be robbed.

As the title said, Legalzoom charged us $249 for a Registered Agent subscription in 2024. We canceled our services with LegalZoom in 2022. Even with my cancelation email as proof their customer service agent Jac would not process a refund for the $249 even though they had done no filings for us since 2022. My multiple request for escalation were met with Jac trying to take me in circles. At this time we will NEVER do business with LegalZoom ever again.

My husband wanted to open an LLC and we didn't know where to start. I searched on Google and this company came across. We started the process but I had questions, and i started the char. I was not receiving correspondence from legal zoom due to one letter missing from my email address. He was able to diagnose the problem, and fix it. Got me renewed with RA services. I contacted Legal Zoom online today as I required information on formation of an LLC in NJ. I interacted with one of their representatives called Eden. All my queries were answered in a very pleasant and professional manner. I got a very clear perspective of what the actual requirements are and I was also informed about the timeframe. Indeed Legal Zoom is the way to go when you're in doubt. Thanks a lot Legal Zoom. I'm also going to recommend your great services to at least 10 of my acquaintances. Great job!

I think I had heard about this site in passing, possibly on social media but have never given it much thought. I happened to find it when scrolling on google and decided to give it a go. I am so happy that I stumbled upon this. I used the chat system to understand more of what was needed in order to get an LLC. I was promptly paired with a representative and it was a lovely conversation. My questions were answered in full detail and they were very professional and patient. I appreciated that very much. It was an informative and brief session but I still felt very accomplished. I will be using Legal Zoom in the very near future.

I received a call shortly thereafter, as I believe there was a miscommunication somewhere b/t departments and what information was updated or the person had access. Anyway, the woman that called I believe was adamant and apologetic. I received a refund, and am satisfied 100% with everything I paid for. Sorry it took so long to write this... she didn't even request that I do anything in trade. Thank you.
I called on 1/25/2024 to request a refund of a product I had not use for and paid for on 1/02/2024. My CC, receipt from LZ, and MY ACCOUNT page all from LZ all state that fact. In my call the agent stated that this order number was on 12/24/2023 (even if that was true, are you that hard up to steal $299.00?), anyway all my evidence clearly shows that this request for refund was well within the time frame. Enough said.

It was necessary for me to follow up with LegalZoom regarding the LLC I had set up in 2022 and the requirement for LegalZoom to file another Registered Agent with the California. The agent I spoke with was very helpful and knowledgeable about what needed to be done to clear any deficiency. I am satisfied with the assistance I received and knowing that all will be in order within 72 hours at maximum.

LegalZoom has been great from the start. They helped me get my LLC business going and have provided top notch, excellent service from the start to the finish.
