After four years of not communicating with LegalZoom they were extremely cooperative on getting my account recovered and up to date. When it came to federal law they were prompt to keep me updated on mandates and regulations. Very professional and well mannered business.
The most horrible customer support and the longest wait times I have ever experienced. I purchased an LLC package with all the bells and whistles to include expedited processing. After two months of waiting, broken promises from customer support ("It will be finished today, we are so sorry for the wait..."), many unanswered questions, no contact, hours on the phone and in chat rooms, and a refusal to refund services not rendered, I cannot recommend LegalZoom.
They are not a good service. Will lock you into fees and reoccurring payments then tell you to pay them again to change any paperwork or file anything else. Terrible customer service. Not a good company. They will authorize payments on their own behalf without your consent.
I would actually give the staff four stars but the actual attorney I had to deal with was rude and condescending.
He treats my concerns and questions as if I were an idiot and that I was bothering him. I had to consult am attorney twice and wanted to choose another one but there was so little availability that I had to use the previous one and found had the same experience!

I called Legal Zoom and requested to change my sole proprietor to a PLLC. I specifically stated I do not want a new EIN requested. The sales rep told me that would be no problem at all & he would refund that fee.
Then, I called back to confirm some information & the other individual confirmed that a new EIN would not be requested.
However, they requested a new EIN. I have spent 2 hours on the phone with Legal Zoom requesting guidance and assistance and they're unable/unwilling to answer my questions or provide any guidance on resolving this issue. I paid extra to expedite formation of the LLC and am left spending hour and hours & money trying to get an answer.
Do not waste your money on this service. It's easier to fill the forms out yourself and you know as much as they do as the individuals at Legal Zoom are unable to answer any follow up questions.

I did a dba thru zoom, it was a slow process on my states portion of it, but i got the upgraded package and i dont even know what i got, im clueless, im in business now but i dont even know what legalzoom did or is going to do for me? Seems like they dropped the ball to me!

Highly knowlegeable, offered levels of service, and all services are quite reasonable. Hard copy deliverables are quite useful. Other family members have used Legal zoom for a number of things, so they came highly recommended to me and and they delivered. A complete LLC package, IRS EIN number and everything you need get you business operational in your state. Well Done!

NEVER use legal zoom, they are a bunch of scammers. Without my consent, they signed me up for a recurring charge of $15/month and a recurring charge of $320/year, and you can't cancel the order on their website, you need to call them on their customer support and sit and wait for an hour, which will cost me a fortune because I don't live in the US. Feels like I've been $#*!ing robbed, I never wright reviews but legal zoom is so $#*!ing bad that I had to.

The service is much cheaper than going to a lawyer but you get what you pay for. Customer care is borderline clueless, does not follow up or follows up without addressing the issue. You call and they tell you to email, you email and they tell you to call.

I spoke with a young lady named Justice today. I had spoken with several other agents in the past and none of them even attempted to look for possible answers to my dilemma. Justice searched for 10 minutes and found the answer. It wasn't my perfect answer, but she explained the answer so well and made me see that it was the only answer. She was professional, patient, inquisitive, and hard working. She deserves a raise!

I tried to set up a company, just to experiment. I never set it up, did not set up a tax id. However, legalzoom kept charging me monthly for some form services, and also charged me for registered agent services. I called to cancel, they did not cancel. I had to call my bank to stop payment.
Now, for the company that is not even operating, Legalzoom has sent me a letter (third n notice) saying I am in collection. For what?

I was incorporated in 2009 for a fee of $936.41 by Legal Zoom. I paid for Legal Zoom to be my RA for the past 4 years, another $159.00 each year. This year my credit card that I used to originally make the purchase was charged another $936.41 without my authorization. I have since been in touch with both the credit card company and Legal Zoom. The credit card company is investigating and the supervisor at Legal Zoom is telling me in fact my card should not have been charged without my knowledge. If my card is not credited I am seeking legal council about my next steps, and it is not with Legal Zoom.
